About this house rental
Situated in Vashon, this lovely house for $175 per night is a fantastic choice for your next break. Enjoy views of inner Quartermaster Harbor and Mt Rainier from our centrally located, 1,000 sf guest quarters. You can enjoy watching the comings and goings of sailboats, cabin cruisers, crab boats and more. We are also regularly visited by geese, deer, and a wide variety of bird life. The two bedroom residence includes a fully equipped kitchen, a private patio, and ample living and dining areas. Our guest residence is located on the lower level of our inner Quartermaster Harbor home. We live above and although we have taken steps to minimize noise, please know that my husband and I live above and some noise is unavoidable. Everything is on the same level and the home can accommodate someone with mobility issues. If you have mobility issues, let us know and we can go over specifics with you. We are located right off of Quartermaster Drive and overlook the inner Quartermaster Harbor. We are very close to the Burton neighborhood where you can pick up last minutes supplies at Harbor Mercantile, enjoy a latte and good conversation at the Burton Coffee Stand, and experience kayaking and paddle boarding at Jensen Point on the Burton Peninsula. We are grandparents and have most of what you will need for little ones including a portable crib, high chair, stroller, blocks, books, stuffed animals and more! All of our outlets are covered and other steps have been taken to make our home comfortable for families. Of course, all kid friendly equipment and supplies are put away for our adults only guests. We have robust WiFi and the TV comes equipped with basic cable and a Roku player from which you can access your Netflix or other subscription TV. The guest residence should have everything you need. Parking is located right next to the entrance and we have keyless entry. You and yours are free to enjoy and use all of the grounds. We assume children will be supervised and all guests are responsible for their own safety. Please note that we require all guests to be vaccinated for Covid 19. If you need something, just ask. If we have it we are more than happy to share.

The place was very comfortable and clean with lots of amenities. Jeanne was an organized and gracious host. Everything was labeled and easy to find and we all slept very well. Gorgeous views from the patio and close to a cute country store and coffee roasters. Highly recommend this stay!

Perfect location to our daughter's house and our yearly reunion. Perfect place for 3 sixty plus sisters. Kitchen was great to make chili dinner to take for our crew. Beds comfy as was living space. Thank you!!

This was a very comfortable place to stay with a beautiful view of Quartermaster. It was very well decorated and had everything you need. Jeanne was very quick to answer the one question I had.

This was our second stay at Jeanne’s place and it did not disappoint! The location & value can’t be beat! We had deer in the yard daily delighting the kids, plenty of space and easy access to town, and Camp Sealth where our daughter attended day camp. This spot is great, and Jeanne does a great job of transparency about a bit of upstairs walking around noise (no bother to us!). Plan for no laundry (no biggie so long as you know). Last, I noticed some suggestions I made last year were implemented!! The new bedside power supplies with USBs were a welcome addition. Jeanne clearly cares about her guests and is a wonderful host! 5 stars!!

My husband, daughter and I had a lovely stay. The apartment was the downstairs floor of the owner’s home. It was very comfy and welcoming. We enjoyed the art on the walls, the comfy beds and had everything we needed for our stay on Vashon. The owners were kind and accommodating.

Wonderful place and lovely host
The apartment is great, really spacious but still has a relaxed and homely feel. The beds are really comfortable, and I slept well. Jeanne is a lovely lady and a great host, she made me feel very welcome and was there if I needed anything.
The view from this property is stunning. The only reason I have put four stars instead of five for location is because there's nothing within walking distance.. Otherwise its a definite five for scenery and I felt totally safe.
Would definitely come back, loved every second, thank you Jeanne!

Parking was a little wierd and one day the owner even asked me to pull up further another 3 ft which I just got done working 16 hours so not excited to do so. The place smelled like pets pretty heavily and since I am allergic, was not good. The upstairs is owner occupied so it feels like you are at someones house. It was really noisy between floors

Wonderful, pretty, quiet and clean - great locatio
We had a wonderful time staying here. Communication was great with owner for the entire process. Owner was accommodating to allow earlier check-in and I asked if there was an ironing board and iron one was put into the house! The house was clean, looked almost brand new and had everything we needed. Refrigerator looked brand new - everything clean & classy. Nice view of the water from the property and there was a deer that hung out most days on the front lawn. Our only regret is that we didn't stay there longer - 2 nights wasn't long enough to explore the island and have a real vacation! We hope to stay there in the future! Did I mention it came stocked with coffee and a coffee maker? That was greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Comfortable and homey getaway overlooking Quarterman Harbor on Vashon
view of Mt. Rainier, and coffee maker was ready to go. There wasn’t one thing missing from this place. Clean and cool.

Loved the morning view of Quartermaster Harbor. Its quiet and clean, so nice! Thanks for letting us bring our dog!
The unit has plenty of dishes and flatware to use but if you plan on cooking your meals onsite you should plan on making arrangements for additional cookware as it is good for a minimalist but it would be tough to whip up a meal for a big family or group. We only made breakfast so we were fine.

Beautiful Place to Stay
We stayed here for a night for a family wedding that was nearby. Jeanne was so helpful in leaving a light on for us since we would be arriving very late and allowing us to stay late the next day after the wedding. The house was beautiful, clean and very accommodating! We enjoyed the cozy beds very much, since the rest of the family was basically tent camping at the wedding venue! Although we weren't able to stay long, we definitely enjoyed it and would stay again if we had the opportunity! Highly recommend this house for anyone looking for a great place on Vashon!

Very clean, as expected
Our stay was mostly great. The place is spacious and has everything we needed. Excellent view and close to a lot of activities. The only complaint is that there is little insulation between the levels. Our baby had a very hard time napping and we since we went to bed earlier than the people upstairs, there was walking and chair scraping that woke us up.

Upscale accommodations with a home feeling.
There was such a honest and warm feeling from the host. They went out of their way to accommodate and provide all the little extras that make it feel like home. I stayed there with my two little grandchildren and daughters it was such a lovely time on the Island. We had all we needed and more. This was a delight. I would come back in a minute. I am hoping to return with my husband. This time just him and I. I am so grateful for the hospitality and welcome we received. Wonderful! Thank You So Much!

Wonderful hosts at a comfortable home
A great location overlooking the harbor. Wonderful patio for morning coffee. The house is roomy and very open. Clean neat and a great art collection. The neighborhood is nice and quiet. Close to town, parks, beaches and hiking. Just perfect for for a weekend getaway. Jeanne is a great hostess. She was kind enough to invite us up to see the fireworks. She gets our recommendation.
