Second bedroom also on the entry level is furnished with a queen bed. The Great Room is on the second floor and is a complete retreat to relax or entertain your family and friends. A wonderful gathering space featuring a large sectional sofa facing the ocean, gas fireplace, and 50" flat screen with DVD player and digital cable service. Gourmet kitchen fully stocked and equipped with everything the home chef will need. Family reunion weekend. This was a great location for kids and adults. The house had lots of games and kids books which was wonderful. Easy walk to the beach and shops and easy drive to Cal Poly where we went to several events.

Incredibly clean, and a very well stocked (pots pans etc) kitchen in a perfect location (steps from the waterfront and beach). We loved it. The Master bed and bathroom were fantastic. We had a wonderful time there.

Great location everything is within walking distance the beach, wine tasting, restaurants, shopping etc. The house was perfect size for my family, common area’s to hang out together and enough room to spread out when needed. It was very clean, easy check in and out. The communication from the rental agent was very responsive.

Unit was clean upon arrival and had all the amenities we needed. Was able to do laundry and use a fully equipped kitchen which is key for a family of 6. Hope to stay again next summer!

Another Amazing Stay at Avila Beach
This is our second time staying at 55 San Miguel and it was a very positive experience. You can’t beat the location. Steps from the beach, shops, restaurants. Overall a nice property just steps from the beach. Very large rooms and comfortable beds/couches. Arrive before dinner on a Friday night and enjoy the farmers market. Having the two parking spaces was key as there is little street parking.

This large condo is perfect for a large group or 2 small groups of visitors. However, the unit sleeps 8 but a small round table in the dining area only seats 4. Someone did not do the math. Also, the location of the condo is perfect to walk to the beach but it is also located at the back of a restaurant, which is a huge drawback. The restaurant's kitchen fan is very loud and the odor from the kitchen is evident 24/7. The unit is not air conditioned so guests are bombarded with this noise and smell throughout the day and night. Also, the delivery trucks start arriving at 4:00 AM every morning. I was hoping to find a rental unit to book on an annual basis but this one definitely is not on my list.

We had a great stay. The condo was roomy and comfortable. I was a little disappointed as I thought the condo was beachfront. My misunderstanding I guess. However, there was a view of the beach from the living room window. I think this is the only condo in the complex that has a view. You will enjoy your stay.

The overall experience was great. The property was beautiful and had a great layout, there was a lot of space both inside and out. The office was a little far from the property, but overall convenient for pickup and drop off. The only thing that I wish that they had detailed was the parking for the property. We arrived Friday evening and it was very busy with the street fair/farmers market, and we couldn't find the parking area, it is underground and you have to drive to the alley on the other side of the building, once we were able to turn around we found it, but the directions to get to the garage would help for future renters.

We loved our stay at 55 San Miguel. The property was very clean and had all the amenities needed for our stay in Avila Beach. We had friends staying in other units within the courtyard and after touring our rental, they all agreed that ours was the nicest unit! Perfect location for enjoying the beach and main street. Loved having the little balcony so that we were able to see the ocean. Only inconvenience was having to drive to Pismo to pick up and return the keys and parking garage openers, but that was minor and perhaps only an inconvenience because it was a long day of traveling and we just wanted to begin our vacation. We would definitely stay again and hopefully the unit will be available for our family of 6 to rent again next summer!

This is our fifth year returning to Avila and staying in this perfectly located complex. We vacation with another family also with two kids. We really enjoy the short walk to the beach where we can reserve our spot early on and then walk to the restaurants. The only part that we don’t enjoy about this location is the loud noise of the garbage driveway that Custom House restaurant uses. It also smells like gas when the sliding door is open at night. The units do not have AC, so it gets stuffy until you open windows.

Overall very good, but this was the loudest it has ever been in the condo. Because of the warmth you can't shut the windows all the way the nose from the Custom House (and smell) are the worst it's ever been. Appreciate the fans that have been added but they are not enough.

We attended my sons wedding in SLO and spent the week exploring the area. Loved the proximity to the ocean and hiking trail. Might be somewhat busy in peek season but nice to be able to walk to local spots, water, playground etc. the home was spacious and accommodated the 7 of us well. (Kids had lower level)

Floor cushions in living room- ripped leaking balls all over the house. No dust pan Dishwasher doesn’t work. Dishes in cupboards dirty. Needs to be replaced. We hand washed everything. Master bathroom - WC light doesn’t always workNo trash in the master bathGuest double bed - extremely uncomfortable Fridge - freezes foodLight in the fridge doesn't work.Door is broken doesn’t always close correctly. Doesn’t have cover on bottom shelf of fridge. No dust pan in the house.No soap in kitchen for hands. Only small bar soaps in bathrooms. It’s COVID!Throw pillows in upstairs bedroom have holes in side. Screen Doors to outside. Completely broken. No fly swatter but lots of flies. BBQ was filthy. Hasn't been washed. All the dishes in the cupboards and most pots and pans were dirty and needed to be washed right from the cupboard.

Being very close to the beach and pier was very convenient. Now the negatives. The unit is right next to the unloading area, a long driveway for trucks leading to back doors of nearby restaurants. Every morning at 7am we were woken up by very loud beeping sounds as a large delivery truck backed into this area. The two bedrooms downstairs have sliding doors right next to this driveway and our kids could not sleep through this very loud alarming noise. The noise was loud enough to reach every room in the unit. Very annoying! Also the master bed was pretty uncomfortable. We probably won't book this unit in the future because of these negatives, which is too bad because the unit itself is really nice.

This condo was the perfect place to celebrate my daughter's graduation. We really enjoyed the way that the condo was laid out and all of the amenities. It was great to be able to sit on the little balcony and enjoy a drink while watching the waves, dolphins and birds. I would definitely return. Slight downside was the am noise due to the location right near the alley by the restaurant, but no place is perfect!!

This is a beautiful Condo. It is very roomy and the rooms and decor is great. The location is great with views of the beach. With this location comes noice. Lots of noice. Garbage trucks, food trucks, late night party people from the local bars..... Like I said the condo is very, very nice, but with this location comes noice. The condo has everything you could need. The kitchen is perfect and every appliance and bowl, etc has a place and it is labeled. We had a great week at this condo!
