Designed in a classic Nantucket cottage style, Star Light Star Bright is a beautifully furnished 3 bedroom, 3.5 bath home located in charming Nashaquisset, just 2 miles from the beach, 2.5 miles from Miacomet Golf Club (the only 18-hole golf course on Nantucket offering true links-style golf), and 1 mile from the center of town. Nashaquissett is a peaceful, award winning, residential community of private homes with architecture that evokes the look and feel of historic Nantucket. The neighborhood with its brick and shell walkways, picket fences, lush gardens, and manicured lawns is particularly well-suited for families. It includes a pool with a large landscaped lounging deck, two Har Tu tennis courts, and safer biking and walking for both adults and children. The location offers convenience to bike paths leading to island beaches, shopping, and restaurants.
Paintings by Nantucket-based artisans adorn the walls at Starlight Starbright and the décor throughout the home evokes a traditional Nantucket Island style—with Ethan-Allen furnishings—that is decidedly warm and relaxing. The home’s layout is welcoming with its open main living area with cathedral ceiling yet it has plenty of space for separate activities and privacy. The living room with fireplace is designed for relaxing and socializing. The comfortable and casual den on the first floor has a television and a pullout sofa for extra guests. Additionally, there is a large open loft with a TV on the second floor. Located on the first floor is the master bedroom suite that boasts a king-size bed while the two second floor bedrooms offer a queen-size bed or two twins, respectively. A well-equipped kitchen has a breakfast bar while a nearby dining area accommodates 8 to 10 guests comfortably. Other amenities include high-speed internet access and central air-conditioning.
Through a set of French doors from the kitchen/dining area you'll find the lovely outdoor patio. There is a table and chairs that seat 6 comfortably and a large gas Weber grill. The yard is approximately 60' x 15', running the entire length of the house and is perfect for morning coffee, post-beach drinks, alfresco dining or even stargazing at night!
An abundance of hydrangeas and roses hug the exterior perimeter of the home adding color anywhere you look. Sit and enjoy the private yard with brick patio, table, chairs, umbrella, and a gas grill. A private outdoor shower is perfect for bathing al fresco after a day at the beach!
This home rents SUNDAY-SUNDAY and during the high season can only be rented in one week increments.

Excellent stay and location for site seeing on island. Also able to walk to town from property. We never used pool or tennis courts but both are immaculate. Lots of space in home to spread out and work remotely as well and easy communication with property manager. We had one issue the first night and owner & property manager were quick to help us resolve issue. We were extremely pleased with this rental and hope to come back next summer!

We stayed a week with our teenage daughters. The location was perfect. It was just under 1 mile to town and we did not have our car. We rented bikes and could get to the beach And to town easily. The house was immaculately, clean and organized each room had its own bathroom so with teenage daughters that worked out great. The upstairs also had its own private lounge area, which was an added bonus. Overall, the neighborhood was beautiful, and we took advantage of these pool area, which was a great alternative to the beach. I highly recommend this home. The property manager could not have been more accommodating we will definitely be coming back next year.

I stayed at Starlight Starbright with my husband, two children and nanny and we loved our week in the house. We chose the neighborhood of Nashaquisset because of its convenience and access to a pool. We also love how charming it is. The house itself was nicely decorated and well equipped with everything we needed. The second floor loft was a great place for the children to play. All the bedrooms had en suite bathrooms which we really appreciated. The second floor bedroom with twin beds had a bathtub which made bath time a delight. Miki, the property manager, was very sweet and very responsive. Overall, we have no complaints and look forward to returning soon!
