We had an excellent stay here! The location was great - in between 2 trolley lines and close to bars, restaurants, and cafes on St Charles Ave. We were easily able to explore the French Quarter, Audubon Park, and the Garden District. The mansion was beautiful as was the apartment! Check in was easy - Christian emailed specific instructions the day of arrival. Wifi was good- my daughter was able to do her class via video conferencing without any issues. It was well stocked - nice bath products and items in the kitchen for ease of cooking. Beds were comfortable - master bedroom was huge! We also appreciated access to the laundry in the basement. Parking was free and easy on the street. The balcony was our favorite place in the evenings! I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to friends!

Just returned home from a 10 night stay at the property - we left a day early due to issues with the property - lets start with the positives the beds were great and the robes provided were very comfortable as were the sheets. The first day we had an issue with the internet which was quickly remedied which I appreciate - However, both the inside and outside furniture is worn and dirty. The block the property sits on is less than desirable. The door knobs often come off with usage as does the shower head - the shower is clogged and needs to be plunged before usage - the air in the apartment is best described as dank and musty - the main bedroom being the worst - The patio doors needed to be pried open on our first day and the top lock of the door comes off with usage - I made the host aware of the issues and my email which he never responded to. I expected much more at this price point. Moving forward I will be guided by this experience and only choose rentals with more voluminous and recent positive reviews.
