About this cottage rental
YES THE PONTOON comes with the cottage rental which is so nice! This spacious 3 bedroom 2 full bathroom cottage has been completely updated w/new paint throughout, flooring, brand new bathroom, fireplace, kitchen counter & back splash, fire pit, deck & dock and so much more! This lovely furnished cottage is on Harper Lake & comes with a 21' Tahoe pontoon with a 60 hp engine- great for fishing, anchoring & swimming or cruises around the lake! Also comes with 2 kayaks! Beautiful view of the lake from the huge screened in porch that seats 8 or the massive deck! Harper Lake is an "All Sports" lake for fishing, rowing, water skiing, ice fishing, and relaxing. It is just a mile from the Little Manistee River. Significant towns in the area include Traverse City, Manistee, and Ludington on Lake Michigan, and Cadillac, Big Rapids, and Grand Rapids inland. This is truly a cozy cottage that comes fully furnished! We have plenty of lawn chairs, rafts and floats!

The cottage was beautiful and was just as described. It was very clean. Beds were very comfortable and kitchen was well-stocked. We used the gas grill every night. The boat worked great and was a comfortable place to catch some rays. We would highly recommend this place to others. Only caution - come prepared to make your own meals or be willing to drive 20-30 minutes to find a restaurant.

The property is gorgeous, recently renovated and the perfect spot for a week of relaxation. They had everything we needed, plenty of places to sit outdoors, water toys, the boat, firepit just perfect.. I don't know if it was the time of year (late August), but the lake was usually extremely quiet during the day, with a steady parade of pontoons in the evening.
Check-in/out was super simple and communication with the property owners very easy. Already looking forward to booking again in the future.

Absolutely loved the screen porch, especially during the rain. Having use of the pontoon boat was very nice, my grandson caught some bass. The lake is a little small, but very pretty. Pam was very accommodating, especially when we had to go back after we left to pick up a prescription I had left behind. Only thing is the kitchen is rather small, but we managed.

The cottage is just as described. Kids played in the water on the beach and we had alot of fun on the boat docking out on the lake and swimming. Would definitely recommend this cottage.
