Nestled in Victoria, this charming house for $142 per night is a fantastic option for your next trip. For peace and quiet, Springfield House offers a beautiful private garden. Yet is only a 3 minute drive to downtown Victoria over the Johnson Street bridge, or a 15 minute walk. Another suite is available if this is booked. Springfield House is a gracious 1907 Edwardian home with a contemporary touch. A calm palette of colours welcomes you to this airy abode. Each spacious bedroom contains a walk in closet. All linens are provided, a full size washer & dryer is in the suite. The kitchen contains all your essentials, including a full size fridge and stove. In the event that you need something for your kitchen endeavour, please ask me and I'm sure I can provide it! Put your feet up and relax in the living room with a selection of games, books or smart TV and dvd player. A view of ocean and mountains from the west facing living room window. Evening sunsets bask the walls in soft hues. The south bedroom is softened by a tall hazelnut tree with glimpses of the neighbours 1890's brick home. The north bedroom has the privacy of cedar giving the feeling of being in the tree tops. Enjoy the warmth of the setting sun on the front porch. Barbecue your dinner and enjoy the garden from the vantage point of the Pagoda. All within a private hedged and gated space. If you need a one bedroom ask about the Flora Suite. For cycling enthusiasts, the E&N rail trail is a block over from the house. Bike shops and repairs within 3 blocks. Great food and beverage within a 4 block radius. Boom and Batten, Spinnakers Brew pub, Driftwood Brewing Company, Brown's Crafthouse Vic West, Big Wheel Burger, La Taqueria, Victoria Sushi, Fry's Bakery, Fol Epi Bakery, Caffe Fantastico.

We had an amazing week staying here. The hostess was extremely friendly and helpful and the property was perfect! Super location and easy to access. Everything you could need in a home was supplied (kitchen & cooking equipment etc). we could not have asked for a better place to stay. Myself, my wife, my parents and our 2 bulldogs loved it and hand ample space. Thanks again!

The property was just as described and in a perfect location for us. Ianine was a wonderful host. Very helpful and welcoming. We enjoyed our conversations with her. Check in was easy. I highly recommend Ianine's property if you don't want to be in the hustle and bustle of the city.

Very comfortable, fully equipped home which is close to downtown. Lovely garden, full kitchen, TV and spacious living room. Definitely would come back here.

We couldn't have asked for a better experience. Janine's home is beautifully kept, full of character and quiet. My family enjoys walking so the location was perfect for us. It took us about twenty-five minutes by a scenic route to downtown Victoria to the sites and restaurants. The garden was a nice place to hang out and enjoy a meal as well. I highly recommend this place! Janine is a most welcoming host.

We arrived at Ianine's property with a small dog and 2 year old. Sounds stressful, right? Well, Ianine could NOT have been more accommodating and helpful. We discovered we needed a baby gate....no problem! There was one! Time after time, we had questions, and she had answers. It truly was like visiting a kind relative. Her suggestions for shopping, dining, and recreation were spot on. Her apartment, above hers, is completely charming. It is well supplied with just about anything a visitor might need. The gardens were delightful for someone from the midwest to behold! We wouldn't hesitate to stay again as Ianine's guests!

The apartment was perfect for what we were looking for. The listing was accurate. Although, the pictures don't do it justice. Ianine was very responsive and helpful. All the right features to make our stay comfortable and cozy. The location was perfect too. The kitchen was stocked with useful tools and equipment, we had everything we needed to cook! The beds were comfortable and bedrooms spacious. The location could not be better, we were easily able to walk to shops and the beach. Great place to stay... we will be back!
