About this house rental
Located in Cathedral City, this charming house for $375 per night is a fantastic choice for your next vacation. City of Palm Springs ID # 2839 Come relax and enjoy this Mid-Century Redo on a quiet residential street that backs onto the Tahquitz Creek “Legends” golf course, with some of the most amazing uninterrupted views of the San Jacinto Mountains. The mid century neighborhood is featured in the Modernism Week house tour. Location is very central with easy to access many venues and the best of the desert activities. The house boasts a large open living space with lots of room for your group to spread out, maybe play some pool, a board game or just relax. It features comfortable, vintage inspired furnishings throughout with dining seating for 8. There are 3 bedrooms with a bonus flex room off the Primary suite and easily accommodates 8 ( MAXIMUM 6 people over the age of 12 & 2 children under 12) The primary suite with King sized bed is situated on one side of the house with private patio access to the pool. Adjacent to the main bath is the flex room which is set up as an office. It has a double sized hide-a-bed, perfect for those who want their young children close by or simply a comfortable room for those extra guests. There a two large guest rooms on the other end of the house, each with a queen bed and comfy bedding. Start off the day lounging by the saline pool, watching the golfers go by or admiring the gorgeous view of the mountains. After a long hot day kick back at the Palapa Bar where you can whip up a cocktail or BBQ a feast. * note- we purchased this as our families vacation home. In the past few years we have done some major renovations but it will be an ongoing project for us with many more planned upgrades, please keep this in mind as the rates do reflect this. We love to get our guests feedback and suggestions as well :) The latest project to be completed in the spring of 2021 was the total overhaul of the pool deck and pool which now features a seating bench in the shallow end. While we want everyone to have fun and use all our house has to offer, we do ask that you show some respect as this is our families house and not just a vacation rental. We look forward to being able to share our house with you and hope many memories are created. TOT # 6299 There is an additional fee of $85/day minimum of 2 days if you would like the pool heated between the months of October thru April. We need a minimum of 36 hours notice if you would like the pool heated. The City of Palm Springs has a very strict Ordinance that must be followed and agreed to upon booking. Please remember that we do not make the rules, it is mandated by the City and ALL Rentals in Palms Springs have to abide by the same ordinance. * Minimum age to rent is 25 - Govt ID will be requested * No Music to be heard outside or at the property line. This includes music from inside must not be heard outside. * 1 car per bedroom (max 3 for our property) * Overnight occupancy not to exceed 8 (no more than 6 people over the age of 12) with 2 under 12 permitted Daytime occupancy not to exceed 10 - all guest names will be requested * City of Palm Springs quiet time is 10 pm Rates subject to change without notice * Please note that there is a ring doorbell on the premises Also a Ring motion light on the side yard by gate entrance

We loved the property- well-kept, peaceful and quiet, good A/C. Rooms were spacious and clean, towels made available for use. Everyone had fun swimming in the salt water pool and playing billiards at the pool table in the living room. We enjoyed grilling steaks and burgers using the gas grill. The kitchen had everything we needed. Communication with owner Dawn and daughter Ashley went very well. We won’t hesitate to stay at this home again. Cheers

We loved staying here. The home is beautiful and the pool is lovely. Great vibes in the backyard. Fragrant flowers blooming, birds singing, and lemon/grapefruit trees. Great neighborhood for walks. Took a jog in the nearby hills and saw some bighorn sheep. Close to downtown and Trader Joe’s. Would definitely go back.

really pleasant place thants nicely appointed to hang your hat in Palm Springs..well stocked kitchen and a big green golf course right out back, grill and outdoor bar, swimming pool, mountain views and a clear shot to Bob Hopes place on the hill. Dog and us enjoyed watching golfers, paying pool, and walks in the neighborhood. This home is close to everything we needed and a nice location easy to downtown Palm Springs or Palm Desert. Thanks to our hosts for sharing their lovely home.

The open layout, privacy of sleeping quarters, fun games/pool table, super warm private pool, outdoor bar, well-equipped indoor and outdoor kitchen spaces, thoughtful landscaping/privacy from neighbors, and beautiful golf course & Mountain View all made for a delightful, fun/entertaining, and comfortable stay, thank you so much! It’s evident that Dawn and her family continue to improve the property, as the mid-mod decor, updated features of the home, and the amenities are even better in person than in the photos. I stay in VRBOs often when I travel, and we also had family staying in other VRBOs in Palm Springs for this holiday week; the home and hospitality provided by Dawn was one of the best our family has ever experienced. From our family to yours, thank you, Dawn!

This house is nestled in a quiet neighborhood, yet close to many of attractions. The beds were very comfortable. Nicely equipped kitchen, icemaker and chilled water from the refrigerator was a huge plus. The private pool was so nice. The host was very helpful when we called.

Wonderful time!
The property was exactly as described and very lovely. The interactions with the owners was prompt and friendly and we enjoyed every minute including lots of time in the heated pool! Loved every minute!

Wonderful home base in Palm Springs!
This was a great place to use as a home base for our 1-week stay in Palm Springs. The house is roomy, comfortable, and very well-supplied. We've stayed in several dozen rental houses, and the kitchen was, by far, the best stocked ever...anything and everything you would need. If we return to PS, I'm hoping this wonderful home will be available.

In town for a family wedding
The owners had very good communication during the reservation process and then, throughout our stay with their locally-based daughter who was our contact during our stay. All questions were answered and the house was as described in the listing - maybe even better than I expected with how well supplied it was with all that we needed to make our stay wonderful! Great proximity to all the activities a visitor would want to do while in the Palm Springs area. Thanks for opening this house to us for our visit.

Perfect gathering spot
This was a perfect spot for my family from Arizona and from Southern California to meet in the middle. The house is a fun open floor plan perfect for hanging out! The host where very good at communicating and were quick to respond. We will be checking availability on this home when we meet again.

A delightful stay in Palm Springs- The house was terrific, open and inviting mid century modern style with a wonderful yard and pool in the back. We so enjoyed ourselves for friends for 40 years and we had plenty room to ourselves in together. Would love to stay again.

Fun Palm Springs getaway!
We had a great time, and Dawn was a courteous and respnsive host. The house was in a quiet neighborhood, but an easy drive to downtown. We loved the open concept living area, and the inside of the house was very clean and nicely decorated. The kitchen had all the supplies you could need and more. Our only complaint was that the outdoor areas like the pool deck, tiki bar, and outdoor furniture were a bit worse for wear. Regardless, we still had a great time outdoors enjoying the heated pool and the moutain/golf course views.
