The Space:
Gulf Pointe Paradise is a tranquil townhouse featuring a balcony with sweeping Gulf of Mexico views. Dockage is available on a first-come, first-served basis and conveniently close to the unit, usually accessible. You can comfortably park two cars or one car and a boat trailer beneath the home.
Interior Highlights:
- Spacious 1,400 sq. ft. of interior space.
- An open living area.
- A well-equipped kitchen with all the essentials.
- A convenient half bath on the main level.
- A king-sized bed in the master bedroom.
- A roomy master bathroom with a shower.
- A queen-sized bed in the guest room.
Outdoor Features:
- Expansive L-shaped decks that encircle the condo, offering Gulf of Mexico views on one side and pool views on the other.
- A heated community pool (note: children must be out of diapers as per condo regulations).
- An electric grill for outdoor cooking.
- A sizeable community dock, just a one-minute walk from the unit, located in the Vaca Cut Channel, providing easy access to both the Gulf of Mexico and the Atlantic.
- Enjoy stunning sunset views and ample Florida Keys sunshine.
- Parking space for two vehicles; arrangements for a boat trailer must be coordinated with our office. Vehicles must be parked under the building.
Nearby, you'll find two public beaches and a state park. Coco Plum is only a 6-minute drive away, Sombrero Beach is a 15-minute drive, and Curry Hammock State Park is just 8 minutes from the home.
Booking Policies:
Minimum Stay: A 7-night minimum stay is required by city regulations, with no exceptions. The city determines the maximum occupancy, and it cannot be exceeded, covering adults, children, and infants.
Cancellation Policy: We maintain a strict 60-day cancellation policy. If the cancellation is made at least 60 days before the arrival date, you can cancel your reservation and receive a full refund, excluding processing and admin fees. If you cancel within 60 days of the arrival date and we are able to secure another booking for the same time by opening the calendar, you will receive a full refund, minus processing and admin fees. If we are unable to secure another rental for the specified time, the deposit will be the only amount refunded.
Contract: Upon confirmation of your booking by our office, you will receive a check-in form via email and your booking channel. Please complete this form to receive further details about your stay.
Payment Options: The total reservation charges include credit card processing fees by default. Credit card payments are subject to the following fees:
– Visa, MasterCard, and Discover incur a 3.5% processing fee (excluding taxes and deposit)
– American Express incurs an additional 0.99% fee (excluding taxes and deposit)

This year is our 10th Anniversary coming to Marathon. We love the friendly and relaxing environment. This condo is very comfortable, clean and has all the amenities you will need to have a great and enjoyable stay. It's truly a beautiful paradise!

The outdoor space of this unit is limited by the non-functional, wicker blinds on all sliding doors. To walk out to the table on the lower level, you have to manually hold up the blind while walking through the door or go through the front door and walk around to the table. The blinds also obstruct the view/natural light as most of them can't even be raised. We had little/very spotty internet during our stay. Finally, this is a retirement community. Most of the residents were very friendly, but the residents in the unit directly next door were not. Within 20 minutes of our arrival, we had several knocks on the door and rings of the doorbell to rudely inform us that we were being too loud. We do have 2 daughters ( 8 and 9 years old) that were excited to arrive after 12 hours of traveling so we were not silent, but not screaming or yelling. The next day, another couple at the pool were asked (nicely) to turn their music down by another long term resident. I could barely hear it from where we were sitting. That evening the resident of the unit next door informed us that the pools hours strictly end at 8:00 pm despite all signs/rules stating the hours are dawn til dusk. We were on eggshells the rest of the week that we would continue to be harassed. This is not a place that I would recommend for children.
