There are very few condominiums on the Isle of Palms equaling the proximity to the ocean and breathtaking views offered here at 1302 Ocean Club. The spacious living areas are comfortable, cozy, and quiet with nearly floor to ceiling windows to enjoy the spectacular view. The spacious balcony allows for perfect al fresco dining or afternoon cocktails while enjoying the Atlantic Ocean. Additionally, two of the three bedrooms share this amazing ocean front view! All three bedrooms enjoy en suite bathrooms for full privacy, and there’s a half bath as well, perfect for visitors to the condo! There are two master suites, each with king beds and direct access to oceanfront decks. You might even see the shrimp trawlers along the coastline during the morning sunrise, glimpse passing dolphins, or exciting kiteboarders on the waves! The third bedroom has two twin beds, along with its private bathroom. After spending time at the beach, enjoy the amenity of the swim center at Ocean Club Villas, with a new large pool and separate hot tub. It is easily the nicest pool complex on Isle of Palms! Grills are also available close to the pool in case you wanted to grill fish following a charter fishing expedition. The Wild Dunes Links Golf Course is only a long par five from Ocean Club Villa. Huey’s Restaurant is an excellent dining choice, that shares the Links Golf Course Club House. Getting to the beach or the pool at Ocean Club is easy. This condo is located with easy access to the elevator (perfect for all ages) and stairs. We have been renting from Island Realty for years and have never been disappointed. The beach area rules are clearly laid out. Check in and check out are a breeze and the staff stays in touch. This is a quiet, family oriented area with lots of beach and a fabulous pool. The property itself is spacious and grand with all the amenities. Restaurants are within easy driving and the kitchen is well equipped to handle large dinners. Views are insanely beautiful with intense sunrises and moonrises beckoning you onto the deck. All appliances and tvs are updated and there are lots of charging stations.

We loved our stay at IOP. Ocean Club was quiet, peaceful, uncrowded. Several problems with the condo, would not return to that one, but will stay at a another one. The condo needs a DEEP cleaning. Refrigerator was not clean, floors, carpeting and tile. needed cleaning. Bathroom tile not clean. Several maintenance issues, when we called about one problem, maintenance responded quickly and fixed it. Would not recommend this condo, unless some work is done on it.

Because of work being done on Summerhouse this year, we were provided a unit in Ocean Club 1302. The unit was much too big for the 2 of us, but had a FANTASTIC view of the ocean.We were not told of work being done on Ocean Club or the condo south of us. We were greeted by men on scaffolding walking in front of our windows. At times, there were very loud noises of drilling/hammering, etc. from the workmen. We left to go grocery shopping and returned to no water. NO one contacted us or seemed concerned when we called. We understand some emergencies happen, but the lack of concern bothered us. The dining room light would not turn off and glowed from low to high. Again, no one seemed concerned. We were afraid of a fire hazard. Someone came to help me with getting on line with my computer,and when he was there,he tried to fix the switch. He got a shock from the switch which scared all of us!We have used Island Realty for 20 years and have been very pleased with the units and service we received. We were very aware this time that the residents of Ocean Club were very unfriendly and snobbish. Even people walking/running, etc. on Isle of Palms seems very snobbish. We definitely felt unwelcome. We paid alot of money for this vacation and have never felt this way before. We hope next year we can return to Summerhouse. We have stayed in several other condos on IOP, but we felt this Summerhouse was the best for us.

We were so surprised to find the vacation experience even better this year with new furnishings and added touches to the decor! Family vacation chosen for the location on Isle of Palms in an area that is not crowded. Love the location and the pool complex. There was good communication about the things that did not work in the condo, but it needs a major update, especially bathrooms. It was not cleaned well with some things just ignored, like a bathtub.

Great place and very roomy. Decor is nice and couch is like new. Only draw back are the appliances. Dishwasher has weird racks that allow a lot of dishes to move while loading. Dryer takes forever to dry a load of towels. This place and Dozin by the Sea at Holden Beach are definitely on my return visits for next year.

A little disappointed at the cleanliness of our unit as we walked in. Such a beautiful place should have a better cleaning crew.
The condo, location and amenities were awesome!! The view and beach, priceless. Good time had by all. We all didn’t want to leave and can’t wait to come back.

WE WOULD DEFINATLY COME BACK. WE HAD A COUPLE MINOR DISAPPOINTMENTS SUCH AS THE MASTER TUB JETS WERE NOT OPERATABLE, THE SLIDING PATIO DOORS WERE STIFF AND HARD TO OPEN & CLOSE: I CALLED MAINTENCE BUT THEY NEVER DID COME TO DO THAT, BUT I WASNT GOING TO WASTE MY VACATION SEEKING HOW THE HELP SO LET IT GO, LAST RENTERS TRASH WAS NEVER REMOVED, DISH WASHER FROM PREVIOUS RENTER WAS NEVER CLEANED & PUT AWAY PRIOR TO OUR ARRIVAL & THERE WAS A CRACKED GLASS AS WELL. OTHER THAN THESE MINOR BLIPS WE ENJOYED THE VIEW AND THE RENTAL IN GENERAL. THE VIEW WAS BREATHTAKING AND THE WALK TO THE BEACH WAS A VERY EASY ONE. IT WAS A GREAT & BEAUTIFUL LOCATION IN GENERAL WE LOVE WILD DUNES. WE WOULD & HOPE COME BACK AGAIN.

We love the location of this condo, and the view can’t be beat. We also appreciate the furniture upgrades that have been made since our last visit. That said, the jacuzzi tub in the main bedroom did not work, neither the jets nor the drain plug to hold water. We didn’t get any help from the realty company we rented from until our second to last day. We pay too much money for such poor service. Also, the elevator closest to our condo was broken for two days. We were able to walk to other elevators. Finally, we stayed at the condo when the calendar switched to a new month. Unfortunately, the rental company didn’t tell us that meant there would be new codes to enter the premises and the pool area. We got stuck at the gate trying to get in and had to rely on someone in the car behind us to get the new code. Again, for what we paid to stay there, we should have been told. That said, we are super grateful to have such a beautiful place to go. My partner of 26 years died 6 months ago, and we came to Wild Dunes and Charleston for many years. Our 11-year-old daughter, my father, brother and nephew stayed at the condo and really enjoyed ourselves with the exception of the few inconveniences.

Condo is beautiful, scenery is great but the ocean going under the building with tropical storm Hermine coming cut my vacation short because the decision was made to go home. It is a shame that this beautiful condo, as well as others in this building are sustaining this problem. I also was told that the turtle group is demanding that the barriers being used to help with the erosion have demanded that these barriers be removed. No one is a bigger animal lover than me but we are talking about peoples' lives and homes. I stayed in this condo in May and loved it so that I chose to rent it again while packing up a beach house that I sold which had been in our family since 1966. Imagine my disappointment in not being able to relax after the movers left because I felt it necessary to leave because of the water. Hope this issue can be resolved for all.

Ocean Club 1302 was great! The description and pictures were very accurate. It was the perfect spot for a wonderful family vacation. The property was clean and spacious. The only downside was the dryer. The door popped open and it took a while to dry clothes. However that would definitely not prevent me from staying here again.

I know the difference between ocean view and ocean front and was adamant that I wanted to see, hear, smell the ocean. And boy did we. Mother Nature has washed away the beach in front of the condo so that only at low tide were you able to walk directly in front; although there was beach in view only a few hundred yards down. We were not disturbed but rather intrigued at the engineering efforts at saving and refurbishing the sand. The garage was closed as some of the underpinnings had been damaged by high tides. Nonetheless, we thoroughly enjoyed our time while wondering what Mother Nature had in store. The condo itself was beautifully furnished and comfortable with a kitchen more complete than mine at home - tho why would one cook with all the excellent restaurants nearby. The 2 ocean bedrooms were a bonus - one larger and better closet and bath but with only 2 couples, those in the smaller room spread out into the 3rd bed and bath. The condo was exceptionally clean and the one maintenance concern (condensation from a/c on laundry floor) was immediately seen to.

The views are fabulous. Everything is well equipped. The spacious floor plan is wonderful. We truly enjoyed the beach and pool areas. All the floors and baths were clean. We thought there would be a washer and dryer, but we didn't need them that much. Overall it was great!

Both of the exterior doors to the balcony were extremely difficult to open and close. The master bathroom and dressing area had very poor lighting. The Jets did not work in the master garden tub (they also didn’t work last year ) When we arrived a circuit breaker had tripped and the lights tv were out in the master bathroom dressing area and closet. They did fix it the next day quickly. Overall our stay was nice. This is our second visit to this property. This is a lovely and spacious condo with a great view! As other reviews have mentioned, certain furnishings and finishes are showing their age (the shower grout is a bit dingy, the whirlpool tub is out of order and in need of deep cleaning, the kitchen pans are scarred, and the couch attempts to eat you if you sit on the end closest to the window, the shower door was off its track on one side and the screen door was laying on the balcony). However! It was still a great stay and the location cannot be beat. The beach was gorgeous and the view magnificent. Honestly, a small investment and a bit of maintenance would make this place beyond reproach.

The unit has a amazing view and great location to the beach and pool but.... Mold was all over the air vents, shower curtains and tile. The furniture was so worn out that it was so uncomfortable to sit on. The bathroom was so dated and very worn out. Dust coated the ceiling fans and baseboards. The worst part was the thousands of gnats that constantly kept coming out of the kitchen sink. It was soooo gross!!!

Ocean Club is beautiful. I met more owners than actual renters. It is spacious, beautifully decorated, had pretty much all we needed and the view was gorgeous!
When I went to put our groceries in the fridge it was very clear that the inside of the refrigerator had not been cleaned. The microwave plate was disgusting. If one must be out by 10am sharp, and one follows the departure instructions, the dishes in the dishwasher should be run and clean by the time the cleaning crew comes so that THEY can then put them away. We had to empty a full dishwasher on our first day of vacation. But hey, doesn’t everyone love emptying the dishwasher at home?! Not happy. The outside patio, my FAVORITE place to be on vacation was gross. I understand sand being blown up there, and even bugs to some degree. But the watermelon seeds that were probably spit out by some kids on the floor was unacceptable. My husband wouldn’t even join me out there because he felt it was too dirty. When our daughter and her son were getting ready to leave I saw a greasy bowl on the floor near her bed. I asked what it was and she said she was checking to make sure she and her 6 year old son had packed everything , checked under the bed and found that bowl...yuck. It looked like maybe that’s the bowl that had popcorn that (maybe) all the butter that was left in the microwave was used I will end with this, aside from the VERY poor housekeeping (it was an expensive rental property) the house was lovely. The beds were comfortable (I do believe the sheets were clean, if they had no time for anything but to change the sheets, that would be my number one “must have” from housekeeping �� There we’re plenty of towels (I do believe they were clean too). It was comfortable and well decorated.
