Bright, modern, clean, open plan executive suite in the heart of beautiful North Vancouver. Suite is part of a 3600sf craftsman home with concrete floors, acoustic Insullation, acoustic resonance bars separating the 2 suites (Completely self contained private and quiet suite) - 800sf sleeps 4 comfortably including 2 bedrooms (1 queen, 1 double and 1 double pull out couch in living if needed) - fully self sufficient ( own hot water tank, heat by gas fireplace and electric baseboards in bedrooms, stackable washer/dryer, fully stocked kitchen including dishwasher and microwave) - includes internet, 42' flat screen TV, Apple TV/ Netflix and telephone

Stayed here in late November with husband and two boys (4 & 8) and it was a great fit for our needs. Good location for the various things we had planned and we enjoyed being able to walk to several different restaurant options.

We had a wonderful week staying at this property. My husband and our 2year old had all we needed for our stay - including a crib and household supplies for a small child. We were within walking distance of food and easily found parking in front the of house. The apartment itself was very clean and quiet, we had no issues at all and would easily come back and stay here again. Highly recommend!

When I arrived in North Van early, I asked the hosts if it was possible to check in early. I received a prompt reply that it was no problem at all. Check in was a breeze and contactless. The property was clean and comfortable with all conforts of home. The location is great: a short walk to Lonsdale for groceries, coffee and dining and about a 25 minute walk to the Lonsdale Quay. I would not hesitate to stay here again when visiting North Van and will reccomend it to friends and family. 5 stars in all departments!

The location of this property was great. The neighbourhood was clean and very quiet. The apartment was nicely appointed but showing signs of wear and tear.
* The walkway up to the unit needs to be one solid surface, very difficult to roll your luggage on slabs of concrete separated by sunken river rock.
* This unit has no A/C and NO screens on the windows. Vancouver is getting warmer!!! A/C is a must especially since you really can't keep the windows open because there are no screens and you're on a lower level and anything could get in through the window. Supplying 4 fans in the unit does not help, it just circulates warm air.
*No window in bathroom. Fan makes noise, so makes you think its working but has no suction power, therefore all the heat and steam goes into the already warm unit.
*Could provide better sheets and comforters, microfiber is cheap and makes you sweat even more.
* Towels were worn and torn
* Front door curtain could be washed.
* No useable frying pans. They are all scratched, leaching harmful chemicals into your food.
* Shower curtain rod is badly rusted making it hard to pull curtain open or closed. It needs to be replaced or covered with plastic rod protector.
* Heating duct registers were full of dust and debris and spider webs. Looked like they were never cleaned.
* Info binder needs to be updated. It was written in 2014 !
* Motion lights had no bulbs in them. Very hard to see where you're going at night.

Being San Francisco Bay Area California Natives arriving to and galavanting through Vancouver, BC for the first time, being able to reside in this location provided both a homey and luxurious feeling. The neighborhood reminded us of our hometown neighborhoods, and the cleanliness and location providing both sufficient privacy and an area to relax in the evening was wonderful to sink into. The only character trait of the property my family and I would have appreciated being aware of is the lack of a smooth path. If you have packed heavy, large suitcases, you will have to lug them up the path and stairs to the private door of the suite.

Needs hand rails on stairs into place. Needs grab bars for bathtub. Needs bathtub tap fixed from steady dripping. Needs some paint work done. Not a good place for someone with mobility issues. One bed too low and one too high. Otherwise a nice place.

This property is well stocked. We didn’t need anything. They even had the reusable grocery bags in the closet. Really close to everything along Lonsdale. We used it as extra space while visiting family in North Vancouver. Very clean. I would definitely re book this property.

Communication with hosts, Justin and Kim, was good. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The room was well maintained, nice and cozy, we felt comfortable staying for a few days. Easy access to grocery store and night markets. Situated in a quiet neighborhood, perfect for those who are looking to relax and chill.

It was a complete home away from home. Quiet, even had washer and dryer. Nice place to sit outside. Clean. Spacious. My family still brag about it. And how accommodating the owners are. The perfect place for a medical related trip.

The suite was comfy and warm for our mid November stay. Easy access from the number 1 highway to the North Vancouver location. Kitchen was well stocked and we appreciated the the welcome note and bottle of wine. Pictures on the site were an accurate representation. We will stay again when we come to visit our son.

We rented this suite for the month of October 2020 to explore North Vancouver and visit our daughter who lives here. Kim welcomed us and took care of any questions and problems that we had while getting settled. The location of their house is excellent! We could easily walk down to Lonsdale Avenue and the Shipyards, or the other way down Grand Boulevard. There’s lots of grocery stores nearby, and the highway to West Vancouver and Whistler is super close. The suite is completely separate from the house, and it’s above ground so there’s pretty good natural light. I loved the fireplace and the beds are comfortable. The kitchen supplies are older, but we always bring our own good frypan and knives so that was fine. The shower is good and there are lots of soft towels. We will definitely book this VRBO again when we’re visiting North Vancouver. Thanks Justin & Kim! :)
