Carole was very easy to reach and helped immediately when necessary. The house was comfortable!

While we take responsibility for not carefully reading that we needed to bring our own linens until the day we were leaving (sheets, towels, kitchen towels, etc.), this policy made several other issues much more problematic.Upon arrival, the property had a very dated feel - clearly unchanged since the 1980s. While vintage properties can have charm, and to be far this had some, the condition here was concerning. The mattresses appeared to be original to that era, which felt unhygienic given that we were expected to bring our own sheets to cover them. The pillows were completely flat and uncomfortable, and we encountered a lot of spiders and cobwebs during our stay. Which isn’t uncommon for the woods but that on top of old beds and bedding just felt dirty. Most critically, the water was not turned on when we arrived. We attempted to contact the host but didn’t receive an immediate response. Vrbo customer service assisted us while we waited. The host did eventually call back and was very kind in explaining how to turn on the water, but arriving to a property without running water was stressful. The host was ultimately courteous when we connected, but the overall condition of the property, having to provide all sheets and towels, and the water issue made for a disappointing stay especially for the price. Future guests should be aware they’ll need to provide all their own linens and may want to ask detailed questions about the property’s condition and amenities before booking.

Adorable cabain ideally for a post-holiday reset total peace and immersion in nature.Incredibly private and scenic spot.Amazing host definitely I’ll book soon.

There wasn't a kitchen item you could add. The furnishings really need updating. There was on chair and a 3/4 person couch in the main living area. Two people sank together on one end. Tons of dvd movies with a vhs player hooked to tv? Beds were aweful. The one queen suite had a very lumpy matress. Other queens were combo box spring and mattress like you would find on on a daybed. You could feel the springs.Fireplace worked well, but a small hatchet to split knindling would help.Amount of space, location and ammenities made it an acceptable value for the price.
Overall, guests loved the spacious cabin with great areas for kids to play, easy access to outdoor activities, proximity to parks and skiing, cozy fireplace and heating, and excellent communication with the owner.

Cabin itself was nice but we found many spots that were not clear. We had kids with us and had to do extra cleaning just to take care of the kids.
Spider webs in every corner of the cabin. Im just giving my honesy feedback about my stay and hope that the owner would consider these points and make the necessary changes for the next guest. Thanks
