About this cottage rental

Nestled in Lambton Shores, this lovely cottage for $141 per night is a fantastic option for your next trip. This cute as a button cottage is less than an hour from London in the small beach village of Port Frank. Situated minutes from Grand Bend, Ipperwash, and the Pinery Provincial Park. There is a large amount of activities in and around the area for the whole family. The beautiful sandy beach with shallow water and sand bars is the perfect beach for young families. You will love the amazing sunsets, fantastic nature trails, there is a marina, and a great river system for boating & fishing. The cottage is located on a quite street a 10-minute bike ride to the beach. This reservation has a Firm cancellation policy - refunds will be issued up to 60 days prior to the check in date. A 100% refund is provided for travellers cancelling at least 60 days before check-in. A 50% refund is provided for travellers cancelling from 30 to 59 days before check-in. No refunds are provided for travellers cancelling less than 30 days prior to check-in. CanadaStays Booking Fees are refundable if you cancel within 48 hours of placing your booking request. Our house rules: primary renter must be 25 or older, no smoking, no parties or events, pets permitted. A rental agreement will be emailed upon booking. If this is not emailed back booking will be canceled. $300 Damage deposit is required and paid directly to property owner once booking is accepted. This will be returned after inspection. A limit of 1 small dog (no more and no large dogs) is permitted per rental (unless agreed upon by owner). Please read section in contract regarding clean up. No other animals permitted. No more than 7 guests permitted. You are responsible for all bedding (sheets, blankets, pillows) Bed sheets can be supplied for an additional $50. There is a fire pit in the backyard (fire wood is supplied by you) There is a BBQ with supplied propane.

Myself and my family had an amazing vacation, filled with swimming, bonfires, card games, and enjoying the peace and beauty of our surroundings. Naomi was an excellent host. 5+ 🌟🌟🌟

This cottage is a good choice if you like a quiet get-away. It is situated in a lovely, noise-free, peaceful neighbourhood, surrounded by large trees, and close to a very nice private beach on Lake Huron. The three bedrooms are comfortable, the kitchen is adequate, and attractions such as the Pinery and Grand Bend are just a few minutes drive away. The back yard is private, with a deck, comfortable outdoor furniture, an umbrella, and a gas BBQ. The owners, Naomi and Andy, were very helpful with the few requests that we had (mostly having to do with learning how to use the electronics). We are a couple in our senior years and we did have some issues. The living room furniture we found to be uncomfortable – to the point where we brought our portable beach chairs in and set them up for watching the television. The other significant issue was the air conditioning – there is a window air conditioner in the living room, but it is so loud that we never used it. There are ceiling fans in the living room and two of the bedrooms, which really help at night, but they do make some noise. One of us had a problem sleeping because of it. Also, there is no fan or air conditioner in the kitchen or in the add-on room that leads to the deck. We used that latter room as our computer office (there is reasonably good wifi) and it was fine when the temperature was in the low 20s. It got hot (high 20s to 30) in our last few days at the cottage and that room became very uncomfortable. A big part of that problem could be solved by having a screen option on the patio doors. Overall, we felt that the cottage was good value and we enjoyed our stay. Port Franks is a lovely little town and the Pinery is an excellent provincial park just a stone’s throw away. There are also several very good restaurants in the area. We particularly liked the patio at Grog’s Pub (on the highway near the entrance to Port Franks Road) and the Cottage Café in Grand Bend.

We had a great week at Naomi's cottage, it was just right for a short family beach getaway. The cottage is very cute inside and out and was very clean. We also really appreciated having the option to bring our dog. We would happily book again.

Lovely cottage and neighborhood. Our family enjoyed staying here for the week. Port Franks and Ipperwash beaches are close and family friendly. My son had fun checking out the nearby sand hill.

I had concerns with wifi for work and with covid issue, and Naomi was amazing for making sure all my concerns were addressed. The family friendly beach is a quick bike ride away on safe streets, but if you drive, parking spots are often filled by 11 am. If cycling's your thing, there's a beautiful easy ride into Thedford for snacks and LCBO trips.

Would of been better if we were aware that there was no towels, or kitchen towels provided. Listing said to bring bed linens only.over all was a nice getaway.

This was a lovely cottage. The seating and the beds were very comfortable. Nicely decorated and a lovely yard with a great fire pit. I would recommend this cottage.

This Port Franks cottage is advertised as “cute” and that doesn’t quite capture our experience. Yes, it’s cute with the antique furniture and children’s play area that doubles as a very large coffee table but it’s the comfort of the cottage and the location that makes this cottage exceptional. The backyard is private and secluded even though neighbours are just a few metres away. A fire pit with Muskoka chairs and a deck complete this well appointed space. The cottage is located about 3 km from a wonderful, dog friendly beach that brings back memories of Cape Cod.The quiet neighbourhood was also a huge bonus. With small children, we had no concerns about holiday or week-end vacationers driving down our lane. There are also amenities such as high quality restaurants and Oh! Pizza that serves up one of the best pies in Ontario.This cute cottage is near perfect and we will definitely go back.
