Couldn't even check in, called all the numbers that were provided one was disconnected, one didn't even exist and the others went straight to voicemail. Arrived at 6:30pm open sign was on, said there lobby was open and staffed until 8pm. Absolutely poor waste of money, had to go elsewhere to spend the night.

The Kiwi was a cool place to stay. Rooms were well set up and clean. Veronica at the front desk was an amazing host. Hot tub was dialed in, too! Everything on the Grand Bend strip was within walking distance and there were plenty of amenities close by. We did have one fairly major problem - the room we stayed in had an intermittent sound emanating from somewhere (we thought maybe the heating/cooling unit) that kept us up pretty much the whole night! We let the front desk know, and hopefully, it will be addressed. All in all, we would go back again!

If i could rate this 0 I would. We booked this motel because it was freshly renovated. Checked in at 4pm and then went to the beach and had dinner. We got back to the motel at 9:15 pm and went to go sit in bed. We found blood on 2 of the pillows and on the blanket. Keep in mind we have not sat in the bed yet. We go to the front desk and no one is there. We email and call their emergency line and no one picks up. We ended up sleeping in our cars because it was evident the sheets were not washed. Upon the manager coming in at 9am the next day, they state they did not receive any emails or calls. We show them proof and they brush it off. The owner then comes in closer to 10AM and after arguing tells us that she will provide us with a full refund. It has been 2 weeks and no refund has been provided. We have called multiple tiimes and everyone they do not answer or hang up. Avoid this place at all costs. The floors were covered in sand, sheets unwashed, bathroom sink dirty and the bathroom door did not close.

This is a little hidden gem incredible staff who by the way are all young people and their service is remarkable. Everything is super clean and well maintained there is a pool, hot tub, fire pits and games this property has been newly renovated and everything is new, we knew the rooms were rather small from the pictures on their website which will change our choice of rooms next time. Rooms followed the theme of the outside but a few things could improve not one drawer a small night stand with a drawer would have made sense most people do not need more than one or two small drawers. There are real glass glasses and ceramic cups fresh creamers in the fridge which is a welcomed change but not a stir stick in sight to stir your coffee with. First thing we notice walking into the bathroom was a safety bar by the toilet but not one in the beautiful huge shower and towels and extra toilet paper, hair dryer and iron are stored on a shelve at floor level. These are not a game changer for us we loved the place but will bring a few different things next visit. If you will be staying in Grand Bend in the future give the Kiwi motel try.

The room was clean, contemporary, and well equipped. Beds were comfortable. We especially appreciated the pool and lounge with all the seating, bars, and firepits, which made us feel as if we were at a resort. We didn't use the breakfast service as we weren't sure how it worked and chose other options.

Very nice and clean rooms. Loved the pool. They have a very late check in at 4 and early check out at 11am so you need 2 nights to take advantage of the amenities. I recommend! .

I can't say enough about how lovely this property and its staff are. My 7-yr old son and I stayed at the Kiwi for 3 nights/4 days and we had so much fun. The property has been beautifully renovated with an awesome pool area, patio cafe, and a backyard with lounge chairs, games, bbq and fire pits. Pinery Provincial Park is a short 10-min drive away. Grand Bend beach is within walking distance, and the main strip has a very fun and relaxed beach town vibe. We didn't want to leave and we will be coming back!

We really enjoyed staying at the Kiwi Motel. It is within walking distance to the beach. The amenities were amazing ie. the pool/hot tub/fire pits. The girls taking care of the motel and rooms were so friendly and so helpful. They always had a smile on their face. We stayed for 3 days and it was so chill, best get away ever!!

I loved the uniqueness of this property. You can tell a lot of love went into planning and designing the entire space (interior rooms, exterior face, lobby and property amenities). Special mention to the front desk employee (didn't get her name) but she allowed me to park for free at the motel several hours before my check-in time. If you know anything about parking in Grand Bend you know this is a big deal. One of my frustrations is how they store clean towels and rags in the room. Most hotels/motels store clean towels on a rack or shelf on the wall away from the floor. Kiwi stores clean towels below the bathroom sink very close to the floor. Another frustration occurred when I went to iron I did not see an ironing board in the room which I found strange. I ended up ironing my clothes on the bed rather than calling the front desk. Only to notice the ironing board underneath the bed the next day. Who would ever think to check under the bed for an ironing board? They could have easily stored that in the closet. Their outdoor amenities are top tier! Although I didn't get to enjoy any of them, I was very impressed with the set up. Complete with pool, pool chairs, hot tub, fire pits, beach volleyball and wet bar. Despite the minor annoyances with the towels and ironing board I would definitely stay here again and I absolutely recommend this place to anyone travelling to Grand Bend.

Good location walking distance to LCBO, Sobeys, Dollartree, McDonalds, Tim Hortons, beach, plenty of restaurants, cute shops along the way to the beach. No need to take your car and pay parking.

Such a fun stay! Friendly staff, clean rooms. Amazing to have the pool! My only recommendation would be around the morning music at the pool -- deep house is sweet but not at 8 AM. It's nicer to have some serenity. Will be back for sure.

We were abruptly woken up at 830am to the grass being cut outside of our window. This went on for about 45 minutes and there was no chance of us sleeping again after all of the noise. The pool bar never opened at all.

This is the CUTEST boutique motel. Perfect for a girls getaway or with family. I took my 2 teenaged sons’ here for 2 nights and we all loved it! Lots to do on the property itself. A pool, hot tub, games ~ the boys loved playing badminton & I loved reading in the super comfy hammock. The staff were really friendly too! Super close the main drag ~ we can’t wait to return next year!

The Kiwi Motel was super convenient to walk to town. The main lobby offered fun drinks for purchase and the staff was very friendly however, the lobby closed to early. Would of been nice if they offered separate beach towels for the pool/hot tub and the water for a bath/shower did not get warm-hot temperatures at all.

Great place with lots of amenities but our only complaint was the fire pit, pool, hot tub and bar area are only open until 9:00 p.m. and check in was not until 4:00 p.m. and check out time was 11:00 a.m. so doesn't leave you much time to enjoy the if you are only staying for one night! For $300 a night we of liked to been able to use these amenities.

We were very pleased with our stay, the property was totally redone about a year ago, the staff were very nice, the room was comfortable and the grounds include a pool, two bars and games. It feels like a mini resort while being very close to the main strip of Grand Bend and the beach.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Kiwi motel. Our room was clean and cosy. The outdoor space with the pool and hot tub are lovely. The staff were friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay there again when we are in Grand Bend.

Sadly we had a very disappointing experience at the Kiwi. We were so looking forward to accessing the amazing amenities ie. pool/hot tub/fire pit but unfortunately the entire backyard area was locked up at 7pm and not open again until 9:15 am the next day, just before we left at 9:45. Nowhere on the Expedia website did it indicate the very limited hours. We reached out to the hotel manager to discuss our disappointing stay but they did not respond. I would not recommend this motel.
