Palace Of Miracles: Hot Tub, Lounge Spaces, +Casita, mtn views,5 courtyrds,6 FPs
About this house rental
According to legend, the Palacio was originally a stop on the Military Line of the Pony Express, then re-built as an Art Gallery. It is now Converted to a Getaway For Groups that want LOTS of elbow room in a sprawling 7000 square feet. The South Gallery is 34 feet long, the Main gallery even larger. There is the Palacio (main house), the Casita (guest house), Seven (7) fireplaces, and five(5) courtyards. Send the kids to the North Gallery / Bunk Room and they will be in a world of their own, all the way across the Main Gallery. The Master Bedroom has its own fireplace and lounge, which is larger than most living rooms at 20 x 20. The Dining Room has its own fireplace for cozy meals, or just to gather. The Pantry can handle meal preparation for large groups, and serves out to the Dining room. The eat-in Kitchen has room to serve an informal meal and its own fireplace. The Guest House has its own bathroom, kitchenette, fireplace, living, study and bedroom, available as an add-on option at an extra charge. It is separately entered across the inner courtyard from the main house. There is no other house like it in Taos. The Palacio is conveniently located near Arroyo Seco on the paved and plowed Ski Valley Road. Beds, futons and couches sleep 20 or more. With the optional Guest House, a total of 5 bedrooms and 4 baths will accommodate a large party; the guest house alone is sufficient for a small family or couple. ABOUT PETS-- We are making the Palacio open to pets, but pet owners must be responsible. Pets are allowed in designated areas and are NOT ALLOWED on furniture, rugs or carpets. The pet fee is $300, but $250 will be refunded if the housekeeper confirms there are no pet damage or pet hairs left behind. NOTE: The Palacio is mostly located on one ground floor, but includes numerous "changes of level" (also known as "steps") when passing from room to room. Please be alert and aware, and step up or down when passing a change of level. See, for example, the photo of the Foyer, which looks out over the Main Gallery below.

Great place for a large group. Very comfortable and well stocked!!

This place had all the space and comfort we needed for a family vacation. Very clean. Communication with the property manager was great. Would enjoy staying here again.

Such a lovely stay. Plenty of room close to the ski hill, and town. Quiet enough to have a baby sleeping, while everyone else plays games, cooks, or watches movies. Even had some people reading with no distractions. Felt like home away from home.

Beautiful home with fascinating history. Our family had a great time with room for all 18 of us! Lincoln was very kind and responsive and much appreciated!

Had a very good stay while on our ski trip, This home had lots of room to spread out with our large group, it was perfect. Only 15 min drive to Taos Ski Valley made it perfect!

This home is perfect for hosting a big family. The home made the perfect backdrop for a southwestern vacation. It had everything we needed and more!

Fabulous stay. Lincoln was wonderful and very quick with answers. Property was a great location and very roomy for all.

This house has plenty of room for a large group, and the owners thought of everything when concerning the abundant amenities … they have more than any rental I’ve stayed at, by far!
The owners are attentive and quick to reply; really awesome!
It’s located on a highway, but the road noise wasn’t noticed while sleeping! (however, the neighbors dog who was quite persistent in fending off coyotes all night, every night, was. If precious sleep is of importance you may want to bring ear plugs).
We stayed for a wedding event and it was amazing to be able to rent the casita for the newlyweds to have privacy from the group when desired. A couple people had to work from home and ‘work spurts’ in the casita was an ideal spot! Again. the owners were very accommodating and gracious… which means so much. ❤️
The view was amazing, and the location was only about 15 minutes from the Taos wedding venue. Lots of lovely bridal pictures from in and out of the house! Many amazing dining options within 20 minutes away!
You won’t go wrong renting this house! Hopefully you’ll have same fond memories we do when walking away from our time in NM!

We had a group of guys in NM for a 3 day golf trip. This property provides plenty of space and the yard was great for cornhole in the afternoons! We where able to cook our own dinners and watch football on the TV at night. Overall a great property for a larger group with plenty of space! Thank you

Property was great. 2 teen granddaughters loved the ping pong and hot tub. Great sleeping arrangements. Was a little warm, could use a couple of mini splits. Portable evap. needs too much water. Enjoyed a fire pit, smores etc. Would like to bring my whole family 13 instead of 7 next time. Grill worked well for steaks and chicken. Overall a great stay.

This house is a wonderful example of perhaps 1920s New Mexican construction and has a beutiful layout. The many little courtyards are a pleasure and there are chair and table vinettes everywhere.
The kitchen has everything you would need to service a huge party if that were in the cards. There is every kind of entertainment with games, music, sheet music, video, and tv. Our family went out to explore everyday, but you could as easily just stay at the "Palacio". Our trip was wonderful!

We utilize the complete property and found it was very roomy and comfortable except the kitchen was small for more than three people. We ran out of refrigerator space
and from my understanding the adults that slept in the bunkbeds felt the mattress were too thin and uncomfortable. We had a wonderful time and loved the outdoor space to sit and relax. Overall it was very good.

Palacio De Milagros was an outstanding setting for three siblings plus spouses plus offspring and a few significant others to stay for five nights and depart with lifelong memories. Our group totaled 15 adults ranging from early 20’s to late 50’s. There was plenty of space to gather and also hide out for quiet time and remote working when needed. The “palace” has loads of charm and character. The front courtyard was the scene of many hotly contested games of bags, countless conversations, and much laughter. Excellent location for exploration of the Taos area. Lincoln answered inquiries promptly. We are thrilled with our stay and hope future gatherings are as fulfilling as ours. Lincoln, thank you for sharing this special place!

We enjoyed our stay very much. Such a unique property. Plenty of space to each have our own space and great rooms to come together in. Our kids decided instead of seeing the sites in Taos they would rather just hang out at the house. However, we did visit a couple of restaurants and did a little shopping.
We would definitely recommend staying here.

We fell in love with the house immediately. It is set up for fun with ping pong, a karaoke machine, all sorts of games and the coolest environment. Our group’s ages ranged from 6-67 and we all hated to leave. Thanks Lincoln for the great house and warm environment. I think we used every inch of the house - inside and out. Found the kids hanging out in the dungeon just chatting several times.

We had 4 families meet and stay at the Palacio. We were celebrating a milestone birthday. The house is unique. Lots of living spaces. The Casita was warmer than the rest of the living spaces. Lots of dishes and kitchen items. Overall a great stay. Thanks Linc.

This was an amazing space for us. My husband and I held our micro-wedding here with 10 guests for 3 days. Everyone had a comfortable space to sleep and could find a place to sit quietly if they wanted to escape the group. There are so many spaces to gather!! The courtyard was perfect for our small ceremony and the west yard was wonderful for our meals. The internet was not working while we were there as a cable went out. Was no problem for us and they did have it fixed within a couple days. Linc was great to work with, communicate with and was incredibly accommodating to our group. As some people have said there are just a few “deferred maintenance” projects but to us it added to the Taos charm. It was clean and the kitchen was very well stocked!! We can’t wait to come back to Palacio de Milagros!!

Convenient location, away from town but convenient to Taos. Lots and lots of space for our family of 16. Owner was very accomodating and easy to communicate with.

My family held a reunion at this property. It is really well set up for such a gathering. There are several different public spaces where you can sit and chat, and also several dining rooms where you can break up to eat in different groups. The house just sprawls on and on--it's such a fun difference from some of the more generic places we've stayed in the past. I really enjoyed the skylights too. When it's sunny, there's a ton of natural light. When it rains, you can really hear it!
We also really liked that the kitchen is big--kind of spread across two adjacent spaces--and really well stocked. Although we only used a couple, there are tons of small electric appliances like coffee makers, blenders, mixers, and so forth. Very handy!

There are tons of places to sleep, and the kitchen is well-stocked for cooking. The location is great and it is easy to get places. There are lots of places to hang out.
It has a very NM vibe and lots of quirky fun areas in the house.
It was also easy to run along a road nearby, which is not always the case off of small highways.
Lovely place!

Mother and daughters trip to Taos. Needed 5 bedrooms and this was just the spot to host us in style.

The actual property is unique and has some awesome features, however, it could really use some work. Most all of the home could use a makeover and a deep clean. It had all the supplies that we needed and some fun games too. It was close to Taos Ski Valley, but it is directly off the highway. There was plenty of space for our family of 8. Great area and had a great time skiing.

The property was perfect for our needs. We had 15 people ranging from kids to adults. The bunk room was perfect for all the boys and the extra casita house was perfect for the girls. Enough space for all. Communication with Lincoln was great! Easy to email or call/text. Friendly host. Would stay here again.

Property was large enough for our family. Came with everything you could possibly need. Fenced in backyard for our dog. Centrally located to everything. Owner was friendly and easy to reach. We had a wonderful stay!

This place was very old school and rustic with wood cabin vibes. It's a one-story house, very large, and well accommodated our large group for a ski trip to Taos, which is only about 20 mins from the place. The view from the front yard are incredible. There are about three living rooms so there is a lot of space and you never feel crowded even when you have a large group like we did. Linc also stocked the Palacio with games, books, movies, a ping pong table, and lots of dishes, extra towels, etc. Great touches! Only qualm was that the hot tub never seemed to get hot enough. Would definitely stay again!

Wonderful ski trip to Taos. Will always rent from Lincoln. The house is very spacious and short drive to TSV and although there was concern with the furnace, our host Lincoln was very responsive to our needs.

As a return visitor, our stay couldn't have been any better. The Palacio is spacious, beautiful and perfect for any large family or large group. Linc is a first-rate host and I highly highly recommend the Palacio for anyone wanting a nice comfortable stay. We will definitely be back. Thanks Linc!

Super unique property as you've seen in the listing. Lots and lots of separate areas that easily accommodated our group of 15 adults and 2 young kids. I've never been in a rental with so much kitchenware and equipment, we had 2 of anything we needed to cook. Amazing location for skiers or if you want to be close to town but not in town. On the way to Taos ski area and not far off the road to Red River or back to town to go to Angelfire.

We love to cook, kitchen was more than fully stocked and loved the wood burning kitchen fireplace. We stayed thru Christmas for about 10 days and skied 4 days at Taos. Perfect location. House was plenty big enough for 12 people. Hope to bring more people next time. Lincoln and Rose are awesome!

This is a really eclectic one of a kind place - lots of space for folks to gather at meals but also find quiet spots for down time. Its on a busy road (minus) but you can't hear any traffic once you are inside (plus!). The house itself is maze-like and very cool - with lots of different sitting areas flanked by four closed/private sleep areas. Our host gave us a map of the property layout close to arrival - this might be helpful to post earlier so folks can get an idea of this special place. Our host was extremely prompt and easy to communicate with. Our group of 9 loved hanging out by the fire, playing pingpong and doing fun day trips nearby. A very special place!

We were looking for a property close to Taos, large enough for our team, great parking, privacy full kitchen with wall amenities.
This place was phenomenal!
Lincoln the owner/host was a joy to work with.
We will definitely rebook for our next adventure ❤🐾

The grounds are lovely, the Jacuzzi was a perfect spot to wind down at the end of the day, the kitchen had everything one would need to prepare and present meals, linens were quite ample, the palace was indeed well named - huge gallery rooms, seating for the group of 14 at tables, ping pong table saw plenty of action. Lincoln checked with us to assure all was going well and was quick to address the few little inconveniences we encountered.

This home is one of a kind! Rustic & cozy. Great rental for large groups. Plenty of dishes, two coffee pots, loved the fireplaces! You won't be disappointed. Thanks, Lincoln!

Our 3 generation family of 21 gathered at the Palacio for our son's wedding weekend & it was just perfect. Enclosed safe place for little ones to play outdoors, croquet, hot tub, ping pong, large & small gathering spaces indoors & out. Well equipped Kitchen with lots of cutlery, dishes, glasses, pots & pans. Main gallery is large enough for 45-50 people for sit down dinner. Other lovely & comfortable sitting areas for late night poker games without disturbing early to bed sleepers. And of course the singing deer! Short drive into the Taos Plaza, Pueblo & Ski Valley. The house itself is one of a kind! Well worth a stay.
