Situated in Pentwater, this charming cottage for $511 per night is a fantastic choice for your next break. This Garrison Beach Association cottage overlooks a spectacular view of Lake Michigan. From this wooded hilltop along the beach, you can take the kind of vacation you and your family deserve. From relaxing on a private beach, to swimming and body surfing in the lake’s clear waters, to walking along the shoreline to Pentwater Pier or hiking in the woods. This cottage will provide you with the comfort of home as you reconnect with family and friends. And as the sun sinks into the lake, the Cottage in the Hills provides amenities for a relaxing evening after a energetic day: a full kitchen with a dishwasher, a comfortable living room, washer and dryer, wi-fi, full bathrooms on the first and second floor, and four bedrooms, each with a balcony overlooking the lake. The master bedroom has a cathedral ceiling, a private bath, a private deck and a new king bed. Bedroom #2 has one queen & one double bed; bedroom #3 has one queen and one bunk (2 twins); and bedroom #4 has one queen and one twin. This property boasts over 2,600 square feet of living area, including a den that can be converted into an additional sleeping area, a main floor laundry room, and a huge deck that overlooks the lake. Private stairs lead down to the beach. The weekly rent is $3,575.00 which includes linens and cleaning fee. A 6% Michigan use tax will be added. Towels, sheets, blankets, pillows and beach towels are provided. No pets, no smoking. $750 for the refundable damage deposit may be collected if determined by property manager. Accommodations can occasionally be made for less than seven days in the month of September. Check in is after 4:00 and check out is promptly before 10:a.m. We only rent from Saturday to Saturday.

The stay at the Pentwater lake side house was a great first family vacation for your young daughter (almost 2) and group of friends. The setting and layout of the house was perfect for our group with young children! The access to the beach and deck were amazing! This is such a great property to sit back and unwind without a care in the world. The town of Pentwater is great as well for small excursions. The Rose's were great to coordinate with and we would definitely book this property again!

We enjoyed this spacious home by Pentwater. The home was very clean, and had all the linens we needed. The location of the cottage was peaceful, and the front deck was our dinner spot everynight. There are many stairs to the beach, but the beach was wonderful. The home has all the dishes, beach chairs and beach toys you will need.

Had to travel further north than usual to find a good beach and this definitely had it. Plenty of room and love the balconies off each bedroom. Did not like the upstairs carpet. Lots of steps for an older person. Still give it a good rating.

The Garrison cottage was the perfect place for a week-long getaway for our group of friends. The house is quite spacious and has everything you need - from kitchen to outdoors. The deck is huge and the perfect spot to sit and enjoy the view of the lake while enjoying a glass of wine or a meal (or both). At night you can hear the waves - it is quite peaceful! Nature surrounds the property and deer are scattered about. The stairs to the beach are plenty but manageable. The beach is clean and a perfect spot for an afternoon in the sun or an evening bonfire. You are a quick 10-minute drive to downtown Pentwater. Highly recommend this location!!

Our family has vacationed in Pentwater for 4 generations. We always stay in the Garrison Park beach association. The Gunn cottage is a perfect place to enjoy such a beautiful part of Lake Michigan. Dave is a great host, and quick to answer any questions. Will definitely be back.

Beautiful setting in the woods with gorgeous view of Lake Michigan. Our family of 7 had lots of space to spread out and relax in different rooms and decks. A couple of small things we would have liked: more kitchen and hand towels and small appliances such as a blender; and a propane grill would have been nice. We would definitely like to come back!

Very nice fairly secluded property on a private beach. Plenty of beds in the 4 bedrooms along with a futon in the den. House had everything required and was very clean. Good communication from property manager leading up to the stay including additional pictures of the beach. Would definitely stay there again!

Lovely cottage for a family reunion

We spent a week at this cottage with children and grandchildren. It had plenty of room for everyone, nice beds, great lake-front porch, and a game table for cards, etc. It was a very good place for creating fun, family memories.

Our whole family was able to enjoy this house with the many comforts of home. It was a beautiful view of the sunset every night. Our parents were thrilled with the set up of the house and accommodated our family with ease. I would highly recommend this house to anyone that has a large family. Four families gathered for a Family reunion and had a wonderful time. The cottage was well equipped with plenty of room for everyone. Excellent location close to Pentwater and Ludington. Private beach on Lake Michigan. Enjoyed relaxing on the balcony watching the freighters and boats on Lake Michigan. The sunsets were gorgeous every evening we were there. We recommend the Lake Michigan Cottage for anyone looking for a lakeside getaway.
