This property was perfect for our family. The proxitimy to the beach was great. The views of the ocean from the upper deck were amazing. The owner thought of every little detail. Would definitely recommend this property and this owner.

Property has perfect location to access the beach, shopping and restaurants - all which had great seafood. The house was the perfect size for 12 people, we never felt crowded. The kitchen was well stocked with everything needed for cooking, but the grill outside could have been bigger. The only bad thing was mattresses in bunkbed room were not very comfortable, but all other beds were great. The hammock on deck was comfortable for sleeping.

This property is only a row back from the beach with its own private heated pool. Perfect for kids who want to go back and forth from the beach and little ones who cant stay in the sun too long. The house came with a high chair and packnplay which made packing much easier. Each bedroom had its own bathroom with plenty of towels. Hair dryers were included too. A fridge in the bottom and top floor. Elevator made it so easy to unpack groceries and luggage too! 20 minute drive to avon or nags head. The beach wasnt crowded and felt like we had plenty of space between us and other people. There were a few pool floats, boogie boards, beach chairs, sand toys....this house had everything. Beautiful views of the ocean too. Highly recommend and would stay here again for sure!

My family and friends had a wonderful time. The property itself is spacious, nice and clean. Literally 2 houses away from the beach and having a pool on-site is nice to have. I didn’t see the elevator info when in booked this home, and was surprised to have it when we got there. Definitely nice to have for us to transport food things to the 2nd and 3rd floor of the house.
I only needed to contact Lisa a few times with simple questions and she is easy to get a hold of and respond to emails.
I’ve already recommended this property my friends and family. Will definitely coming back next year!

We absolutely love the place! So close to the beach and the pier. It was nice looking at both the ocean and the sound from the top floor. I was impressed with how clean and update the place is. The kids loved the pool, hot tub,and pool table. The extra refrigerator really came in handy. We will definitely return!

Absolutely Amazing - Home Away From Home
This house is truly your home away from home. It is a VERY short walk to the beach which is great for little kids….and adults! The house is equipped with everything you need from games/DVDs to a fully equipped kitchen! Outdoor showers and foot wash are available at the house. Highly recommend this house!

The house is large with enough spaces for people to spread out. We never felt like we were on top of each other unless we all chose to hang out in the common room on the top floor. The kitchen was large and allowed multiple people to make lunch at the same time and big enough to cook meals for 10 people. Pool and hot tub were clean and in working order. We all enjoyed the multiple outdoor spaces. Best part of this house is that while it's not technically "beach front" it's an incredibly short trip to the beach. We all would pop back and forth from the beach to the house multiple times a day.

My family and I had a great experience in the house. The pool is very nice and the house is over all very comfortable and clean with nice views and convenient access to the beach. The owners were very responsive and helpful as well when we needed them. It’s a most for large groups because it’s spacious and equipped with everything. The elevator was a plus!

The pool was awesome, as was the pool table! Great location. We walked to Beans & Beads for coffee and fresh pastry and there were other shops nearby. Rodanthe is quieter than the towns farther north, which we enjoyed. We had an awesome family reunion!

We had a WONDERFUL week staying at this beach house! First off I liked where this house was located on the island. This house was centrally located in the middle of the Outer Banks island (Rodanthe), to where it was a just a short drive either direction to enjoy things in northern part of the island (Nags Head/Kitty Hawk) or southern part of the island (Cape Hatteras Lighthouse). This house was so spacious! We had 10 people staying in this house and there was plenty of room for everyone. My party was myself and my husband, my two daughters (18 & 20), two friends (18), my niece (21) and my in-laws. The room with the bunk beds was perfect for the 18 year olds. One of the master suites was on the top floor where the main living was, which was perfect for the in-laws. My mother-in-law was impressed with the kitchen and how well stocked it was with all the dishes, pans and utensils you would need for the week. The family/game room on the first floor was an added bonus. My husband and father-in-law played pool a lot and the kids enjoyed playing cards down there. This house does have a lot of stairs so the elevator was so helpful for my-in-law. It was also helpful to bring up all the groceries to the top floor. The top floor and top deck had awesome views of the ocean and Rodanthe pier! The two best qualities of this house was the private pool and how close the beach was to the house. Just a short walk and you were on the beach. We did have to climb over a sand dune though but we managed, even the in-laws! Overall this was a GREAT vacation and this house was a big part in making it great!

The house was clean and inviting. The elevator made moving in and out so much easier. We truly appreciated the open floor plan which allowed us all to be together no matter age or activity. We would have appreciated TVs that were updated so we could have all went to our own rooms and relaxed. The kitchen wasn’t user friendly as far as utensils, dishes and silverware.
All in all we enjoyed our time away and with family.
