You can unwind at Starfish Cottage, a beautifully remodeled, light and bright vacation home in one of the best locations in Sea Pines! Greenwood Forest. This very private single-family home is filled with every amenity to make it a place you can call 'home' for your vacation. Featuring a private pool with a spa at one end that can be heated October to April. Enter the cottage into a large open living room where a wall of French doors extends all the way across the back, (think lots of light) opening to a large, beautifully furnished patio with an in-ground pool with wooded and lagoon views. The lushness of the giant moss-bearded trees and the native shrubbery, and the sheer beauty of the Sea Pines area creates an environment so soothing that your day-to-day cares will vanish. Sit back and relax! Enjoy the upgraded eat-in kitchen with large island and quartz counter top. The kitchen features a large side-by-side refrigerator with through-the-door ice and water dispenser. It is well stocked with dishes, glassware, pots, pans, and everything you need to cook and dine at home including a crockpot. Enjoy the large patio and pool area with a gas grill for your outdoor dining pleasure. The private pool can be heated upon request ($250 fee for weekly rentals - longer rentals fee negotiable) only between the months of October to April. The master bedroom and queen guest bedroom each have a private access to the beautiful pool area, where you can enjoy the private back yard, pool and spa. To clarify - this is not a hot tub. The open floor plan offers everything you want for a family vacation or a romantic get-away. The living room boasts a wall of built-in shelves where you can pick out a great book to read inside or out by the pool. We have a take one/leave one policy. You won't have to miss your favorite TV shows or sports events because there is a 47' LCD, wide screen HDTV and DVD player in the living room. There are also televisions in each of the three bedrooms with full cable access. You can access the internet anywhere in the home or poolside via a wireless broadband signal. All three bedrooms are spacious with quality bedding. Linens and towels are provided. The master bedroom with king bed has its own private bathroom. The second bedroom has a half bath in the room - shower/tub is available with the second full bath. The house easily accommodates six guests with beds. We looked a long time to find our perfect vacation house, and we believe that Starfish Cottage is it! Come and relax at our remodeled home...a wonderful piece of paradise that we welcome you to enjoy. Activities At your doorstep are an array of activities, including world-renowned golfing and tennis as well as biking, hiking, fishing, and lazy days at the beach. Tennis players can use the FREE Greenwood Forest court or may opt for one of Sea Pines’ nationally-ranked tennis clubs with lighted clay courts. Guests are welcome at the clubs. World-class golf within Sea Pines awaits you, with the beautiful Ocean course, the Pete Dye-designed Heron course, and the magnificent Harbor Town Links clubhouses all within a two-minute drive from the house. You can also enjoy dozens of other courses on Hilton Head Island. The cottage's location within Sea Pines Plantation allows you to easily walk to shops, ride your bike along the many miles of bike paths or to the Sea Pines Private Beach Club (a 12-minute bike ride) or to many of Sea Pines’ other beach access points (nearest one is a 10-minute bike ride). The house is just a fifteen-minute walk to Harbor Town, one of the most popular areas in all of Hilton Head Island. Just down the street from the house are the FREE Greenwood Forest neighborhood amenities - playground, swimming pool (great for swimming laps), basketball court and tennis court. We also purchase a pool pass for our guests if they'd like to enjoy the community pool. In the shed you'll find beach chairs, and other beach and pool amenities. You can drive all this equipment to the Sea Pines Beach Club in about two minutes, where you can enjoy the beautiful beach, food and bar service with an ocean view, showers, restrooms, a beach store, and seasonal activities for children. The beach is attended by lifeguards during the summer season. If you prefer a more remote beach experience you can bike or walk to any of dozens of beach access points along Sea Pines’ 5 miles of beach. History buffs will find much to see and do on or near Hilton Head, which is located in an area steeped in Southern culture and tradition. St. Helena Island, home to the unique Gullah people, is an easy day trip by car, as are Savannah, Charleston and Beaufort, all prominent Civil War towns. 'The Spirit of Harbor Town' tour boat conducts daily round trips (with a four-hour tour layover) to Savannah during the summer season. PLEASE NOTE: GATE PASSES ARE REQUIRED TO ENTER SEA PINES. This is our second holiday week at this property—why? Because this host has a gorgeous house and does everything right. Recommended without hesitation!

We really enjoyed our stay here at this property. The things we enjoyed the most was the dual showerheads in the master bathroom which made bathing our kids easy after a day at the beach! We also liked the private pool with ample shallow areas for our young kids. We all really enjoyed the neighborhood pool just a short walk or bike ride around the corner. We oftentimes had the entire pool to ourselves there. The neighborhood is beautiful and quiet. We took the trolley to the beach a few times or drove and parked at the Sea Pines Beach Club later in the day. I have Celiac disease and can't have gluten or anything that comes into contact with it so we have to cook a lot at home. This kitchen came fully equipped with all the things we needed to cook. We grilled a couple times as well, it was nice having that available. We really enjoyed Harris Teeter grocery store and getting takeaway from Skillets Cafe (located in Coligny beach area) that has tasty gluten free options.
Starfish Cottage seems to be one of the few houses in the community to have a private pool so we felt lucky to have that. The kitchen is nice and spacious as well as the living room. We had a great time and couldn't recommend this property more!

This house was perfect for our family vacation. There was plenty of room and the kitchen was awesome and had everything you could need. We loved the pool, but would recommend heating it- we wished we would have! I would definitely recommend this property!

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Starfish Cottage. This was our 2nd stay in this home. The home is bright, open, and spacious. The pool is in a very private backyard. The area is very quiet and not busy. Beach is about a 10 minute bike ride away. Comminication with the hosts was quick and easy and they do everything possible to make your stay wonderful.

What a fantastic vacation. The location is so convenient to all that Sea Pines has to offer - biking trails, beaches, tennis, Harbour Town... Bright, airy and open, the home had all that we needed for a comfortable stay. Communications with Ramona were timely and excellent. Highly recommend!!

A wonderful vacation in the perfect spot. The neighborhood is very quiet. The house has lots of light and is extremely comfortable. The owners were easy to communicate with, provided all necessary information, and the house was well equipped. The pool was smaller than it appeared in the pictures but great for my family of 3. We loved the spa and used it everyday. A great experience and would highly recommend!!

Our family rented this home for spring break and it worked perfectly! The house has tons of space where you need it and the updated kitchen was beautiful. We rented bikes and rode 10 minutes to the beach almost daily. We ate at three different places in the walkable shopping area and were all good! Some many activities in Sea Pines, you barely need to leave the community. I wish we had brought separate towels for the pool because I was constantly washing towels for both pool and beach (which weren’t provided).

My wife and I had an amazingly relaxing and fun time staying at your beautiful house. Your house was perfect for our get a way from everything vacation... Communications with Ramona was great as the start of our vacation coincided with hurricane Ian so that was very reassuring.
We loved the heated pool and spa [well worth the extra $$], the bright open layout of the house and the beautifully remodeled kitchen. Especially helpful were the little instruction notes to operate everything.
The Sea Pines Resort is truly a special place. From the natural beauty, the scenic bike trails, the amazing ocean beaches with warm waters .
We would recommend Starfish Cottage to all

Fantastic All Around
The Wolf’s have a fantastic property!! It is less than a 10 minute bike to the beach. The kitchen is amazing and fully stocked for anything and everything you can cook. The pool is just the right size. Communication is a breeze. The home is wonderful and made our vacation truely special.

Stayed in Sea Pines for the past 5 years and this house might be the best! The kitchen is terrific, everything is upgraded and they have just about anything you will need to cook or store leftovers. The owners were VERY responsive and thoughtful to their guests. The pool is great and the option to heat it was a great addition!

Beautiful Home
Our family of 6 had a great time at Starfish cottage. We biked often to Harbour town as well as the beach, both a little over a mile away. The kitchen is great, clean and newly updated. The house is nicely decorated without having too many decorative objects. We usually have to put things away when we rent houses because we have twin toddlers, so I was thankful that I didn't need to do much to "baby proof". There are helpful labels/hints on many of the appliances/washer dryer. The washer and dryer aren't the greatest but they get the job done. The detergent compartment of the washer kept getting filled with water and would splash when you opened it for the next load. The dryer needed to run a few times to get the load fully dry, unless the load was very small. Little issues though that were easy enough to work around! The pool and hot tub were awesome, we went swimming multiple times a day. Overall, the house is beautiful, with lots of nice windows and an abundance of natural light. Wonderful neighborhood with a cute park/playground just down the street. We would absolutely stay again!

Stayed in Sea Pines for the past 5 years and this house might be the best! The kitchen is terrific, everything is upgraded and they have just about anything you will need to cook or store leftovers. The owners were VERY responsive and thoughtful to their guests. The pool is great and the option to heat it was a great addition!

Bought fresh seafood from Barnacle Bills and what a treat. Lots of great places to eat out on the island but the kitchen was so nice we ended up eating in mostly. Ramona is great to answer any questions you might have. Would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend this place to any family.

Very restful & enjoyable stay
We visited the Island and stayed in the Starfish Cottage for the month of February. This home is super comfortable, lots of space, beautifully renovated kitchen. February was a tad too cool to take a dip in the pool, but we enjoyed relaxing by it. Communication with the owners was top notch. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

Nice house in a great location
Overall, I was happy with the property. It's a great house and the updated kitchen was a great feature. There are lots of windows and plenty of natural light all day long. The neighborhood is quiet which was what I was looking for in a rental. The owners were accesible via email and the check in process was smooth.

We loved our week on HHI! House was exactly as described and pictured. No surprises—except for how great the weather was and how perfect Sea Pines is. We hardly left the neighborhood.
