You will be just four buildings away from beach access and less than 300 feet from Casa Romantica Cultural Center and Gardens, making this vacation rental ideal for those who want to enjoy the beach and the beauty of San Clemente. This beach condo includes everything you need for a comfortable stay by the coast, including heat, central air conditioning, and a bright coastal living room featuring an entertainment center with HDTV, a gas fireplace, and a DVD player for cozy nights. Art by local photographer Larry Beard brings the beauty of the California coast to this living space! THINGS TO KNOW The patio is shared with two other condos. Stairs are required to access this home. Parking notes: There is free parking available for 1 vehicle. This rental is located on floor 2. Security camera details: There are 7 active exterior surveillance cameras on the property at SN13, 338. W. Avenida Palizada, San Clemente units A, B, C & D. There is one on the corner above garage D facing the driveways. There are two on the corner above garage A, one facing the driveways and the other one is facing the street corner of the property. As you walk up the walkway to the units, there is one above the mailboxes near the corner by the first set of stairs which is facing the street and the walkway. There is one at the top of the first staircase by unit D and it is facing down the stairs. There is one at the top of the second staircase above unit B and it is facing down the stairs and the front door of unit A which is at the bottom of that staircase. There is one at the top corner of the building above unit A which faces the courtyard and entry area of the property. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit. More information can be downloaded from the "Rental Agreement" on the checkout page. Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 25 years of age to book. Guests under 25 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation. The unit was awesome and a short walk to the pier. Restaurants and shopping were all within walking distance or a couple of minutes driving.

We really enjoyed our stay. The condo was clean, cute and comfortable. It’s in a great location and close to the beach, restaurants, and shops. We would stay here again. The pull-out sofa bed worked well for our younger kids, but we might need a bigger place as they get a little older.

Wonderful place walking distance from the San Clemente Pier/Beach

What we love best about this place is how beautifully it is decorated. There is beautiful beach themed original art everywhere! You walk in and immediately feel peace and calm. The place is well stocked, better than any place I have ever been including a few complimentary laundry pods. Nice! The outdoor shower is great to wash feet, legs and Sandals off or take shower with suit on to minimize sand in unit. Nice, nice amenity! The size is perfect for a couple though I'm sure it would be fine with a couple kids. The management l is very responsive and the small issues we did have were immediately addressed, like within an hour.
Only a few suggestions for an even better experience - The sheets could use replacing as they are a bit scratchy for my sensitive skin. The unit is due a deep clean though it is perfectly clean enough to enjoy as is if you can look past dust an odd thread of cob web high in corners.
We will definitely return here again! The reasonably priced late check out option happened to be available for us and it made the end of vacation less rushed. I recommend it if you have time to enjoy it.

Awesome place in a perfect location. The condo is within walking distance of everything in San Clemente. The property was very well maintained and super clean and cute. I would highly recommend staying here!

We enjoyed our stay at this property. It's very well stocked, spacious, super clean. Location is awesome, close to the beach and the pier and walkable to the main avenue with shops and restaurants. The house does have multiple units and walls are thin so privacy is a bit limited but mostly not an issue.

Had a vanity light go out, let the mgt co, said they’d bring 1 by, never did. The place could use a couple of throw rugs, 1 in the LR and 1 in the BR just to break up the area and add a bit of a softer contrast. Also could really use more than 4 glass tumblers as well as maybe try and sharpen the knife ware, you’ll lose a finger trying to cut a bagel with a dull knife.
One last thing, they did add a nice fake fireplace, it worked till we hit the heat function, that knocked the circuit to that and the tv, too much amperage I’m guessing but they may not have even known it. Also know that this is a quadplex so every unit shares at least 1 wall.
All in all we’d look at staying here again as the location is great.

Nice small apartment
This is our 4th stay in Hideaway C and we will return to visit family & friends as well as enjoy the lovely seaside town. The apartment is in a nice location convenient for all activities. It is cute, well furnished, comfortable, and very clean.

We stayed 3 nights with our 2 kids and had a very nice time here. Overall we would absolutely return again.
Some great nice perks we had:

Nice close beach access!
Nice 1 car garage to park your car! Our F250 didn't quite fit, but a smaller car will fit great. It has its own garage keypad.
Couch had vacuum marks on the tops sides, so it was recently vacuumed.
There were a few items we thought could be addressed . Not deal breakers, but little improvements. Understandably it is a rental, so we don't expect perfect and the place is already quite nice.
-The floors and under the furniture were not very clean. We found a little raisin on the floor in the living room when we arrived. We have little kids that were crawling on the floor and getting stuff that was gross. A simple vacuum would have picked that up and under the sofa and in the cushions were crumbs. It makes you think what else as missed if a simple vacuum could have gotten this.
- Bathroom tub drained slowly and puddled. The overhead shower switch did not work properly. Lots a water spots calcium build up in some areas.
- Bathroom cabinets were chipping fairly bad and were looking a little worn.
Other than these few items, it was a very nice place and we would return again!

Decent nice beach condo!
We stayed 3 nights with our 2 kids and had a very nice time here. Overall we would absolutely return again.

We have actually now stayed in unit B, C & D! This is a great place with a location that can’t be beat. Special props to Lenet and the local management team. Highly recommended!!

The only issue is that we had some very noisy neighbors one night that party than till 4 in the morning. This will happen in an apartment complex but it would be great if curfews were reinforced. Other than that we had a great stay. Oh and by the way they only give you toilet paper for two days and we stayed for 8 days but they were good enough to give us more when we asked.
