Beautiful Private Gold Canyon Home
About this house rental
Nestled in Gold Canyon, this charming house for $250 per night is a great option for your next trip. Our home is located in a very quiet area of 32 nicer homes on large lots. While not a gated community, it has that look and feel as everything is very well maintained. Our home sits on 2/3 acre with a 6’ painted privacy wall in the back. The exterior of the home is adobe style and features desert landscaping with landscape lighting in back and out front. 4 large queen palms, an orange tree, a limequat tree and other palms, bouganvilla, large handgrown cactus highlight the back. We have a nice non-heated pool as well as a large 60 jet hot tub that is surrounded by sand set pavers and cool decking closer to the pool. From the south facing back patio you can enjoy stunning morning desert sunrises to the East and evening sunsets to the West and peekaboo Superstition Mountain View’s. Out front is a small privacy wall surrounding a sand set paver patio that is shaded by a mesquite tree with small views of the superstitions. A glass patio table and chairs as well as nice sunbrella cushioned loungers are here as well with a small gas fire pit for quiet evening sipping wine, cocktails or beer! The home itself is roughly 2300 sq ft and was built in 2013. Interior floors are primarily tile with wood floor upgrades in the two spare bedrooms and den. The master bedroom features brand new carpet in 2022. The interior of the home is decorated in a mix of Southwest and contemporary styles. A large oversized wood entry door greets you leading into a spacious open family room/dining/kitchen area. Comfortable leather sectional and a large 82” 4K television are featured here. A ceiling fan moves air nicely along with the dual zone AC units and there is plenty of ambient lighting. There is a den for relaxing in off the family room. The master bathroom has a large tile walk in shower and double on top sinks featuring new granite counter tops. The master bedroom has comfortable furnishings, a queen bed and a large 65” television. A large walk in closet is also located here. In the other wing of the home are two separate bedrooms featuring queen beds and nice furnishings. Refinished guest bath with new sink, granite countertop and fixtures. All in all a very comfortable livable home for short or long stays. A three car garage houses two of our cars and a golf cart that are not for renter use. Parking for two cars is available outside the home. Street parking is not encouraged. A laundry room features new upright washer and dryer. This is a non-smoking home that is fully furnished without a need for anything except your personal belongings. No pets. We ask that you kindly replace anything you use during your stay from the pantry or liquor cabinet. Thanks for taking a look and as always if you have any questions dont heaitate to ask!

My siblings and I had a wonderful stay at Don and Judy's place! The house is spacious and equipped with everything you need to make yourself at home. Don also went above and beyond to help when my sister locked herself out of the house. :)

What a beautiful, comfortable home!
It was a perfect size for our family to host Thanksgiving dinner. The kitchen and was well equipped and the counter was large with plenty of chairs. Of course, the pool was too cold to use but we sat around the lovely patio area.

This was perfect for our family of four. Convenient to all that the east valley had to offer, Petroglyph Trail, Sully Mountain, Salt River Tubing, Goldfield Ghost Town, Tonto National Forest, etc. Scottsdale and Phoenix are only a little bit further.

Oasis.
We stayed here for spring break. The home is beautiful and private. Felt like we had our own little resort with the pool and the private back yard. The pool was immaculate, but a little chilly. In talking with the pool cleaner we found out that this is typical for the area. Very few pools are heated. The home is located in a very quiet, safe neighborhood so my wife was comfortable walking in the mornings. Truly a relaxing vacation. Owner was great to work with. One of the best vacations I've ever taken. We will definitely be back, and I would highly recommend the property for anyone looking for a quiet, relaxing getaway. Desert Oasis
This house was immaculate in every way. Had all necessary household supplies and was clean throughout. The interior design is appealing to the eye and the inside of the house is huge. Love the master bath and the pool was incredibly refreshing and clean. I will be booking again next year!

Home away from Home
A home away from home. Stocked with what we needed and grocery close by. Rooms were spacey - with the tall ceilings - liked the dining room, kitchen, and family room all connected with a side den. Nice poolside patio and quiet neighborhood. Accent lights at night in both the spacious back and front yards. (and some inside). Very nice neighbors next door that checked to make sure everything was OK. A nice well furnished clean home - would definitely recommend staying here.

Beautiful property.
This beautiful 3 bedroom home is located in an extremely quiet area of Gold Canyon. The three beds are really only big enough for 1 person. The pool was nice and clean but too cool for use at this time of year. Overall a great place especially when the weather is perfect as it was for us.

Beautiful Gold Canyon Home
Don and Judy’s home was beyond our expectations - beautiful inside and out. We spent as much time as possible in the backyard and enjoying the warm sun by the pool. The property is very close to the activities we enjoy (golf, hiking, exploring). It was a pleasure working with Don. He was always very quick to respond to our questions and requests. It was our first experience with a VRBO and it guaranteed it will not be our last. Don was extremely helpful making sure our stay went perfectly. The property was not only beautiful it was easy to feel at home there. Everything you could need was available from laundry, to wifi and a coffee pot, really too much to list. This home will be the top of the list for our next stay in the Gold Canyon Area.

My family and I were very happy with this house!
The house itself is of the highest quality and also, in a very nice neighborhood. It was close to a good restaurant and Walgreen’s was conveniently close by. There was very little traffic on the street and there were golf courses and hiking trails close by. It also has convenient access to 60 Hiway. It’s also great that the backyard was a very nice size with a beautiful pool and lounging area with a TV for viewing your favorite sports and programs.
The house was comfortable and we especially liked the fact that the master bedroom was on the opposite side of the house of the other two bedrooms. We had a 9 month old baby with us and did have to provide our own crib/playpen. But, that wasn’t an issue for us. Really, the only thing we would have preferred is that the master bed was king sized rather than queen. Again... not that important.
We had the opportunity to meet the homeowners. They were very welcoming and friendly. They were also committed to making our stay as nice as possible. It is definitely going to be our first choice next time we head back to beautiful Gold Canyon to visit our parents! We made a great choice! In a word... CLASSY😊�

Relaxing Oasis
This home is a wonderful place to stay. The house, the backyard and the neighborhood were all exactly what we were looking for. The owners and the caretakers were available to us for any questions and were easy to work with from start to finish. The home was clean, well maintained, and beautifully decorated inside and out.
There were so many positives about this home. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen was stocked with appliances, dishes, and spices. There was also coffee, paper products, dishwasher soap and laundry soap. You just replace what you use. It was so nice to have it there initially! There were plenty of bath and pool towels, and a nice washer and dryer. The furniture was comfortable, clean, and well maintained.
The backyard was the best part. We were able to spend afternoons in the pool, grill dinner, and in the evening, sit on the patio watch football and enjoy the landscape and lighting.
We did not want to leave, and will gladly return in the future. Thank you Don and Judy for the use of you home!

All you ever need for a great desert experience!
VRBO made it easy to find a great home in a great location for our family to be together. This home provided everything we could have asked for, including a much-needed sparkling pool to lounge in, plus nice extras like a good supply of dishes and cookery to keep everyone happy. No need to leave this place once you get settled!!

We enjoyed 5 nights recently at this wonderful, soooo comfortable home. Patio & pool area were just fantastic. Wish the pool could have been warm enough to swim in, it looked so inviting. Everything is provided that you could possibly need. Would love to return next year.

Gorgeous home with a beautiful backyard
We spent 3 wonderful weeks in this beautiful home in March 2019. We could have not been more happier. The back yard with the pool, patio and BBQ is an amazing oasis. It is a quiet neighbourhood and nice to watch the birds and wildlife. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The owners were always available for any questions we had. Very nice property located in quiet neighborhood of Gold Canyon
This spacious, beautiful, well furnished home was a perfect fit for our relaxing 4 day stay while in the eastern Phoenix metro area, Location was great, being near the trails of the Superstition Mountains. The well equipped, clean pool area was nice to take in the warm afternoon temps, Don was very easy to work with , and accessible to answer a few questions we had. Having stayed in many VRBO rental homes, I rate give this property a 5+ rating. Thank you Don.

Beautiful, spacious house. Perfect location for the Renaissance Festival.
We stayed here with our friends and their son for the Renaissance festival. Plenty of room for the 5 of us. The nightly rate was similar to the local hotel we stayed at last year but staying at the house was so much more comfortable, felt like staying with a friend.

A 10 star home- a must stay!!!
This is easily the best place we have ever stayed in our years with VRBO!! The house is beautiful and I would love to buy a house like this!! This does not feel like a rental but more like being at home! I have a bad back but the beds are so great that I didn't have any problem sleeping! Don was easy to work with and he has made this house a must stay for all!
