Enjoy our newly remodeled and tastefully appointed 2-bedroom 2-bathroom waterfront home as a fun family adventure or a quiet getaway. Our home is located on the exclusive, private and peaceful Bayside, as opposed to the crowded, and noisy Oceanside of Mission Beach. From your cozy beach retreat, you will experience some of the finest panoramic views of famous Mission Bay. Absolutely perfect for children - You can step from your very spacious patio directly onto the fine beach sand of Mission Bay, and not have to worry about crossing a street. ‘Bayside Walk’ is right at your doorstep (One of the most scenic walking and biking trails in Southern California that curves gently around Mission Bay). If you are looking to enjoy big ocean waves and the hustle and bustle of Mission Beach, it is only a 5-minute stroll away. Start your day relaxing inside or outside with a cup of coffee and watch a beautiful Bay sunrise. During the day, take advantage of 19 miles of sandy beaches, 14 miles of bike paths, a network of channels, islands, coves and wildlife preserves, including so many recreational activities that you could easily spend all your time at the bay without having to think about driving your car! When the sun goes down, fire up the BBQ, and look out over the blissfully quiet beach, and the tranquil, calm water of the bay. Before you turn in, enjoy a grand view of the explosive and spectacular SeaWorld fireworks (seasonal) right from your own patio. The master bedroom has a queen-size bed and is fitted with fine linens. There is a flat screen TV with digital cable. The bathroom is en-suite and has a single vanity and a large shower. You will enjoy stunning views of Mission Bay from your bed or walk out of the bedroom sliding door onto your patio that spills out directly to the beach. The second bedroom has a bunk bed with a full-size bed (2 people) on the bottom and a twin-size bed (1 person) on the top. Fine linens are provided for all beds. There is a flat screen TV. The bathroom is en-suite and has a single vanity and a large shower. There is a large walk-in closet that leads off the bedroom. The living room has a full-sized sofa bed and accompanying fine linens. There is a large flat screen TV with digital cable, and premium home theater surround sound stereo. The kitchen is fully appointed with cooking, serving and dining ware. It has granite tops and high-end appliances including a professional Dacor stovetop, convection oven, microwave oven, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. The dining area has a table that will seat 6 people comfortably. A wet bar with granite top is attached to the dining area. There is a separate laundry room inside the house, that has a washer and dryer. High-Speed wireless internet is provided throughout the house and will also work on the patio and beach in front of the home. There is an off-street tandem parking space (2 spaces total). Note that the tandem bay was originally built at a time when vehicles were a little smaller, so if you have 2 full-sized SUV’s, they will not both fit into the bay. We LOVED your place! Probably the most well appointed kitchen of any vacation home we've been to! I always keep fresh flowers on my table at home so the flowers were an appreciated touch. The place was very well appointed and had an open and airy feel to it. Of course the location could not have been better. Right on the beach, the quiet bayside, and within walking distance of restaurants and coffee shops. The owner was also very responsive when we had a quick question about check-in.
We have definitely found our new annual retreat!

We stayed 4 nights and it was perfect. My husband and I and our two grown daughters visited San Diego for a family wedding and the rental was ideal for us. Well accommodated in the kitchen for all our needs. As well as great beds and towels. We really appreciated the fresh flowers - a very nice touch. Grant was excellent to work with and communicated timely and consistently. This is truly an excellent VRBO and we will return to stay again! Thank you!

Our family of five loved staying at this property. Kids had a blast playing on the bayside beach (right out the door) and in the waves at Mission beach (super quick walk). Excellent accommodations, clean, fresh space with a well-equipped kitchen. Grant was a kind and attentive host. Highly recommend! We’ll be back!

All I can say is Wow!!! This Bayside rental is decorated so beautifully and has such a comfortable vibe. I absolutely love the remodeled kitchen with all the amenities to create fabulous meals during our stay. However, the best thing is waking up in the morning pulling the blinds up, opening the doors and watching the boats, paddle boarders, kayakers walkers and runners Going about their day, it’s such a wonderful view!!! There were fresh cut flowers placed in the condo upon arrival, which was such a nice touch. Overall 5 stars, I would give it more if I could…. I can not wait to plan our next visit to this bayside beauty. Thank you!

My family had a fabulous week right on Mission Bay. The location was great, right on the water at the Bay, a short walk to the beach and super convenient for traveling around San Diego. Also very close by was Belmont Park, restaurants, playground and Ray's Rentals where you can get anything from bikes to surf boards and soccer balls. We rented stand up paddle boards and paddled around the Bay one afternoon. Grant was very responsive to my questions and provided beach towels so we didn't have to pack them in our luggage. Great property, great host and great location! My kids have already asked if we can go back next year and I definitely would not hesitate to stay here again!

We couldn't have found better accommodations, in a better spot on the beach/bay. We loved staying on the quiet bay, while having easy access to the busier beach and boardwalk, a 5 minute walk. My favorite thing was drinking my coffee on the patio then running in the morning before everyone woke up. This condo is very well stocked to prepare any meal you could imagine. I loved the fresh flowers provided by the hosts. The hosts were great to work with.
Parking for one (not large) vehicle. Parking is super tricky (back-in only) into a very small spot, and at an angle. I wouldn't try parking a larger SUV. We had a minivan and we had to get out of the van before my husband parked otherwise we couldn't open the doors to get out. He mastered parking our fill size minivan in that spot but if we were driving anything larger we would have been in real trouble!! If you have more than 1 vehicle to park, have a large SUV, have small children to get in and out of the vehicle, or suck at back-in parking, you may want to consider all of your options.

The property was just perfect. Very clean, organized, well stocked. The bathrooms have been beautifully remodeled. It's obvious a lot of attention goes into this property to ensure it's an enjoyable stay for their guests. The location on the water is incredible, as is the peaceful and beautifully landscaped patio area that overlooks the bay. It was hard to leave! I would definitely book this property again in an instant! I am very picky when it comes to cleanliness, and this condo met the mark!

Grant's property in Mission Bay was such a wonderful set up for our family of 4. It's just a few minute walk to the bustle of Mission Beach, but its quiet and peaceful in the house. My boys are aged 5 and 8 and the Bayside was perfect for the boys to search for shells and beachcomb while I enjoyed the patio/cooked in the well equipped kitchen. The nautical theme and the fresh flowers was a nice touch. We did day outings to Midway, the zoo, Balboa, Coronado, La Jolla - so easily accessible from the property! The Sea World fireworks across the beach was a nice bonus. Thank you for having us and would love to stay here again :)

Stayed in this amazing beach house to celebrate my son’s 16th birthday. The house and location were amazing. The host was friendly and very helpful. Everything we needed was provided. This is an impeccably designed beach house that gives chill vibes. We all loved it and hope to return soon !

Came down for family get together for Father and son Bday celebration. There was something for everyone at this relaxing, beautiful home. We enjoyed the beach which was so perfectly situated and close! Stores and coffee shops were within walking distance as was the ocean with the boardwalk. This getaway paradise couldn’t have been anymore perfect.
This group loves to eat and cook so we were more than pleased with the kitchen, appliances, and kitchen accessories, just like home!!!
Decor was lovely and outside patio with BBQ and furniture work welled with our outside time.
Of course you couldn’t beat the view.
Would love to come again and stay longer.

It was so nice just to get away and be by the bay and how beautiful it was. Drinking coffee out on the patio was my favorite. The beach was very close by and we were able to go to Seaworld and the zoo. Everything just seem to be right there. The house was clean and had all the amenities we wanted. Would love to stay there again.

We have a family of 4 including two kids -13 and 10 and it was perfect! The home is just as described- clean and well appointed with a great location. The location was wonderful- right on the bay and a very quick and easy walk to the beach, food/coffee and rentals.We have a great time and absolutely fell in love with the area. The owners are friendly and made sure we had all the info we needed for a great stay.

Perfect Family Friendly Getaway
We recently visited San Diego with our two young children. Our stay at this property was perfect. The bay of the ocean is a perfect area for children to play. It’s a short walk to fun boardwalk activities. The condo was clean and a perfect size for a family of five. I would highly recommend this stay to anyone and we plan to visit again in the future. Parking is a bit difficult if you have a large vehicle so if possible I would get a smaller vehicle for your stay.
