Julie was very communicative and responsive, which made the logistics of the stay easy and straightforward.The home itself was comfortable and as described in terms of layout and amenities. The only surprise was that the neighboring houses are closer than the “private and serene” description suggests, though the area was still pleasant.I always read house rules carefully before booking, especially when traveling with my dog, so I was caught off guard when an additional set of rules arrived after payment. These included extra dog-related restrictions that weren’t mentioned in the listing. I understand why a host might want to set clear expectations, but it would be helpful for guests if all rules were disclosed upfront.The post‑booking rules also stated that guests are expected to wash, dry, fold, and return all used linens to their original locations before the 10 AM checkout, or pay an additional linen service fee. This wasn’t noted in the listing, and it’s something many travelers would want to know ahead of time. Similarly, the requirement to put out trash and recycling on multiple specific days during the stay was another detail that would have been useful to see before booking.That said, we did enjoy our time at the house and found it comfortable once settled in.I highly recommend the Nauset Canine Club just down the street. They were very welcoming, and we used them for a day so we could explore without worrying about how long Luna was left alone.

The house was well stocked with everything we needed for our stay! We felt at home very quickly, and the kids loved having new board games, puzzles, and books to keep them busy. All of the rooms felt spacious and comfortable, and having two full bathrooms was a bonus. The location was great too, in a quiet neighborhood. We loved being close to the beach and taking daytrips everywhere from P-town to Brewster. And the rail trail was just a block away.The host was communicative and helpful before and during our stay. Check-in/out was simple and straightforward. A very family friendly rental! We definitely look forward to visiting again!

Our stay was good, not great. House needs some fixes. We felt that having to launder the linens we used was an inappropriate expectation. We could have paid for a private laundering service, however, this service should be included in the price we paid. We have used VRBO before and never encountered this.
