Bedding: Split-king The Mountainside Inn is located along the San Miguel River in the heart of Telluride. It is comprised of four separate buildings, all of which are two floors with stair access (no elevators). This is a hotel room with a split king bed (can be set up as a king bed or two twins), mini-fridge, microwave, coffee maker and private bath with shower (no tub). This unit has one parking spot in the courtyard parking or public parking lot next door; a permit is required. Parking is first-come, first-served. Complimentary wifi is included. Coin laundry is available. There is no A/C at this property. The Mountainside Inn is just two blocks from the grocery store, and about a 10-minute walk from historic downtown Telluride. The river trail offers a delightful path through town, and the free in-town shuttle picks up about a 1/2-block from the Inn. Please be aware that your room number may differ from the one on your reservation confirmation. The Mountainside Inn reserves the right to move reservations to a comparable room without notifying the guest. This room is pet-friendly with prior notification and a $30/night pet fee. Not a bad room. You get what you pay for here. We had to gather up some basics for the room such as an iron and ironing board. One thing I find strange is that the cleaning staff was standing around our door waiting on us to leave even after we told them we checked out at 10 and it was well before which is supremely uncomfortable. If they are so eager to hurry and get in and clean, why did we have to wait in our car dirty and tired from a hike for 3 hours? Besides that, the room served its purpose.

Great price, great location.

We ended up booking a week before we wanted to visit Telluride - the July 4th weekend. Great price for the Telluride area. Room was clean and as expected: not updated, but comfy. The Inn is right on the river path and next to the mountain base. Perfect walking distance from the main part of town and the local grocery store. Will stay again!

We had a great stay. The location of the property was perfect for walking along the river and through town. Enjoyed sleeping to the sound of the river each night. This was a good fit for a couple—the room was similar to a hotel room.

We enjoyed the location of the property and the easy access to downtown and the gondola. We liked that the mini fridge had sufficient freezer and refrigerator space to accommodate the contents of our cooler. The room overlooked the river and the cool nights made sleeping very comfortable. Our favorite part was walking along the San Miguel River to go downtown or to the gondola. We loved the food and vibe of Telluride and the Mountain Village.
