Imagine yourself relaxing in a prominent penthouse between the ocean dunes and a beautiful Amelia Island oak canopy located within the Amelia Island Plantation. As you enter into the comfort of this inviting vacation get away, you are immediately drawn to the expanding ocean view which can be appreciated from a private balcony that spans the entire width of the villa. You can view the beautiful Atlantic Ocean from the plush comfort of the king size bed. Enjoy the sunrises and watch the dolphin playing just beyond the sight and sound of ocean waves. (Our goal is to help you create beautiful memories that last a lifetime. We offer a concierge service for guests desiring to add a personal touch to their vacation with a bottle of wine, charcuterie tray, flowers etc.... Just steps from the complex entrance await the soft, sandy beaches, a refreshing swimming pool, as well as nature paths for hiking and biking. Just steps south of the Sandcastles is a boardwalk that meanders through the plantation's Sunken Forest, which provides various vantage points for viewing wildlife and picture taking of the beaches. Also located within the plantation are salt marshes which are great for kayaking, parks with picnic tables and grills to facilitate your vacation pleasure. After a day of play, there are local shops and dining for all tastes or you may want to consider a massage at the spa within the resort. Regardless of season, this Sandcastle property is a welcomed retreat, only minutes away from Historic Fernandina, which offers additional dining, shopping, and recreational venues. We understand that sleeping in a comfortable bed is very important. The king size bed has a new Serta Perfect Sleeper mattress; Not too hard or too soft, enveloped with Egyptian cotton sheets. We feel this combination will provide a restful sleep, allowing you to awaken refreshed. For our business visitors: If you are attending a conference at the Omni Resort, we are only steps away from the Conference Center. This was a perfect birthday (or any) get-away in a penthouse right on the beach. The condo was immaculate and perfectly appointed with gorgeous beachfront views and great location at Sandcastles on Amelia Island Plantation. A dreamy stay.

The porch, we have to come back. The view, serine waves, waves were always calling. The sun was shining the way without blinding. The wind was helping us hear the way to the beach. Seagulls were showing us how to have fun on the shore with the waves. The rolling sea foam was always plying in the wind and seagull chiks, runnig away from the waves and into the foam. It is the place to come back and experience knowing it will be a better one, even though we just had a blast.

I took my wife there for her birthday. We August 13th through the 19th. Tannya and Mark are amazing as there property. They went as far as getting my wife a cake and flowers and left her a birthday message in a bottle. The condo was amazing it is one of the best places in years. Everything was so clean. We had a little problem with internet and they was quick to respond and no time had it fixed. The only thing that was better than the condo was location. It was right on the ocean and it had a huge outside deck. If you are reading this dont think twice book it . Thanks for the special memories that your property made. With out of a doubt we will book this place again.

This quiet, top floor unit has an expanded balcony with a beautiful view of the beach just as the listing states and shows. It is inside the Omni resort gates, which makes it fun and easy to walk on the trails and dine at the restaurants. The unit was very clean and beautifully appointed with everything we needed for comfort during our stay. The sofa is particularly comfortable as it reclines. The patio has very comfortable lounge chairs as well. They have beach equipment such as great beach chairs and an umbrella to use. This unit provides a five star vacation, and I highly recommend booking for your vacation.

Everything was warm and welcoming, especially the home baked cholate chip cookies! A very beautiful place to stay with everything we needed to enjoy a week at the beach. Nice beach with cool white sand and easily to go for a long walk. Almost like having a private beach. We loved it. Hope to return for a month stay.

This stay exceeded expectations, from the awesome view on the huge deck to the luxurious condo, well worth the extra paid for our special 40th anniversary get-away. Tannya and Mark were wonderful hosts, answering any questions submitted via the VBRO app within minutes before and during our stay. This was by far the best beachfront condo we've stayed in over the last 10 years of driving trips since our retirement. And the little extra touches, such as chocolate chip cookies along with fresh cut flowers and a special anniversary congratulations note rolled up in a bottle, made the stay special. They went above and beyond - thanks for making our anniversary trip so wonderful!

This place is exactly as advertised and more. Super clean, updated, and the hosts have attended to every possible need or want at this property. Tanya is super friendly and easy to contact if needed but once you are here you will not need anything that Amelia Island and this unit can provide. The location is stunning. With the large deck you can take in the sunrises or with a few steps be on the beach which stretches for miles. Super clean property overall, very well maintained. Paths on the property can keep you busy for hours exploring this wonderful island. I have been up and down both sides of the Florida coast and have not and probably will not find a property as amazing as this one!

I was looking for a relaxing, hassle-free quick get-away for my birthday, and the Compass Rose really delivered, surpassing all my expectations! The weather was perfect, and the accommodations were exceptional. Tannya and Mark are 5 star hosts, very accessible, and there was not one touch they had not thought of! I would highly recommend this property-you will not be disappointed!
