The cosy cottage atmosphere, the fabulous views, the remote location, and the comfy bed! The welcome basket and the yummy eggs. Also, the complimentary shower & hairwash. Comfortable sofas. Well equipped kitchen with separate fridge and freezer + great ovenware and a very clean oven, thank you ๐
Just the top kitchen cupboards. Old fashioned and difficult to access, particularly the corner cupboard! Some of the formica type surface of the cupboard is peeling away. Everything else about the kitchen area, although small was modern, ie worktop, taps etc, but the cupboards seemed very old fashioned!

We thought the welcome pack was a lovely touch. Excellent communication from the owner and Tracy the housekeeper was an absolute delight. We loved the open fire and the beautiful views from this cottage. The incredible history wonderfully chronicled by the owners father was a joy to read about locally at Ravenspoint. The bed was very comfortable and the kitchen was the best stocked we have ever stayed at. The fact that i managed to pack one of the cottage tea towels in our luggage was not deliberate and i will post it back! Thank you for a wonderful week on behalf of Owen, Elizabeth and our Irish setter Olive ๐

The location was beautiful. The cottage was well equipped and comfortable.
It would have been perfect if there had been some bread, butter and milk for the first day as the cottage is so (wonderfully) remote.

Comfy, warm, well equipped, fresh eggs, walk to cliff to see seals and eagles, peace and quiet and just lovely.
