We loved our time at Kintarvie hideaway and can't wait to return. Donna helped us when our car broke down.
The kitchenette was well stocked (fancy airfryer and lots of utensils and pans) and it all felt so clean and fresh.
Big bed was extremely comfy, and cosy with the blankets - the sofa too.
Obviously put togehter with such care.
Perfect place in the middle of the island to explore, if we stayed longer we'd have walked to monuments close to the property.
Lovely guidebook with tips on what to do.
Tv worked all easy.
Very pleased to have recycling available too.
Parking all easy, loads of space.
I can't reccomend it more.

A secluded location with easy access to Lewis and Harris. The space was very clean and cosy. The Wifi was great, I had an online meeting during my stay and there were no connection problems at all. The dog enjoyed romping around Aline community woodland on a couple of minutes away. There wasn't space for an oven in the kitchen but I was delighted to find an airfryer with instructions, never used one before but it was very straightforward. The hosts were friendly and communicative. The garden is enclosed with a secure fence so it was reassuring to be able to let my dog roam about outside (very small dogs might squeeze under the gate though).
The cottage is very cosy but on hot days the cottage could be a bit stuffy (not many hot days in the Hebrides though, I was just lucky with the weather!) and the only window that opens is the small one in the bathroom. Some instructions for what can go in the recycling bins would be a useful addition to the welcome pack (I looked it up online instead.)

Clean, tidy, cosy. Ideal for two adults and two dogs. Great base for day trips out to cover all Harris and Lewis have to offer.
