Located in Arcata, this lovely house for $168 per night is a great choice for your next trip. * Guest reserving home must be 25 years or older, be staying at the property the entire time and will be considered the responsible party for this booking. This home IS pet friendly for 1 dog only with a pet fee. Dog must not be left unattended inside or outside of the home. This 1936 Craftsmen inspired, vintage bungalow has been completely restored by an artist so that you can unwind in style. It has just the right combination of color and comfort. The exterior has been painted a warm, sunny yellow creating a very warm welcome. The splash of red in the kitchen adds to its rustic charm. Guests will enjoy how cozy this home feels. Less than 1000 square feet of creatively utilized space offering everything you need for a fabulous getaway. The family/dining room is open to the kitchen with breakfast bar. Enjoy hanging out watching a movie on the flat-screen T.V. Play a game or dine at the cafe- style table. Three well-appointed bedrooms offer sleeping for up to 6 guests with a King, Queen and 2 twin beds. The tile work in the bathroom and one-of-a-kind light fixtures are small works of art. The bathroom has a stall shower. Take a 12 minute stroll or use the bikes and visit the Plaza in downtown Arcata or enjoy our famous Farmer's Market for fresh, local organic offerings, food and music. This home is a five minute drive from Cal Poly Humboldt! Enjoy cooking in the fully equipped kitchen or stop and eat at any of the great restaurants on The Plaza. Sit outside on the front porch and enjoy cocktails or start your day there with some locally roasted coffee. The Greenview Market located across the adjacent pasture is super convenient for last minute items. Indoor laundry makes your stay even easier. Will welcome 1 dog to stay too!

We had an enjoyable family stay for Thanksgiving. The location is convenient to downtown, and even more convenient to our in town family. We have stayed here before and also enjoyed our stay. This time, though, the internet seemed slower than I remember. Otherwise the house worked well for us.

Great location, super clean and welcoming. Neighborhood was nice we enjoyed sitting on the front porch. They let us check in a little early after asking which was huge since we came from a 7 hour drive. Only thing I would suggest is cloth or black out curtains in the bedrooms. The light from the next door market was so bright it woke me up at night multiple times. Overall a fantastic stay locking forward to coming back. You can also rent from them directly to save on some fees.

We had a very nice stay. Adorable little house, very convenient location. Clean and quiet. Checking in and out very simple. Everything was great. The only thing I would suggest is that it’s time to replace the twin beds. Very uncomfortable. Even with that, I would stay again. Thank you for having us!

Loved visiting with family in a home setting. Cooking, eating, and movies. Too bad the plants were all dead and the windows were really dirty with spider webs. Weird small shower too. We used the BBQ one night for steaks which was awesome. The generous driveway allowed my son's to do some work that was necessary. And their is a little grocery store next door.

We had a wonderful stay, and we’re very impressed with the cleanliness and the attention to detail and every last little thing we might need for our short stay. My husband is generally not a fan of staying in a rental such as this, and he generally ops for a hotel room, but he said that this stay here has changed his mind. That is really saying a lot and we can’t think our hosts enough for making it the most comfortable stay in a Vrbo that we have ever had! We will be back.

Neighborhood does not have a lot of street lights which makes walking the dog in the evening a bit difficult. WiFi was not reliable if more than one person trying to access email - created buffering with internet TV.

A nice little house near downtown Arcata. If you like to walk it's close enough to the Plaza, but very bikeable or a short drive. The house itself was really pleasant, but I really enjoyed eating dinner in the backyard.

Our sweet bungalow/cottage was perfect. The kitchen was amazing. Two or three people can work at the same time. The bedrooms were large and comfortable. The storage space was amazing. The owners thought of everything you might need. I would definitely recommend this little house.

My daughter and I came to see my son, who is a grad student at HSU. Great location and adorable house. My only suggestion would be to add one or two bigger pots/ pans. Otherwise great and all as promised.

We enjoyed our stay very much. It was on the weekend of the Kinetic Sculpture Race and the house was on the path of the racers! We didn't use the bikes like we'd have liked because of the fact they were in a location with numerous spiders. That freaked out my wife. Overall, the cleanliness of the house was good except for some of the dishes. The people before us didn't clean them well. Hopefully, we did leave them clean. Thank you all!

A cute, little house that fit our purpose. We used the property as a home base to visit the redwoods and Eureka. Neighborhood was nice, but the street was very busy (wished the whole yard had been fenced for our comfort and safety). Other amenities on the property were appreciated, such as laundry.
As with any rental, there were a few things that could make the stay even better. With six guests, we had one hotel-sized shampoo and conditioner. The dinner table only seats four (two people have bar stools at a counter). Would have been great to have a way to extend the table for family style games.
All in all, it was a nice stay.

This bungalow was the perfect home base for our family trip to Arcata. It had plenty of room and a nice kitchen so we didn’t have to go out for every meal. Our 3 year old daughter loved her room, especially the little stuffed animal turtle on the bed. We will definitely stay here if we visit Arcata again!

Very nice home, just the right size and nice space to play in the backyard. Just needs a deep cleaning in the bathroom, otherwise the place was overall clean and comfortable. Wish we could've stayed a little longer!

Was perfect for us! We went to visit our son in Mckinleyville so we were nice and close to him. We had our Grandson with us so it was great not having to worry about him making noise like we would in a hotel. The home was super clean and had everything we needed. The neighborhood was nice and had a grocery store in walking distance. This home was perfect!

The house was in a good location for day trips to see the Redwoods, which were amazing. It doesn't have air conditioning, but we didn't need it since we weren't there during the day and it was nice and cool at night. The bungalow was super clean, and had everything we needed. Everyone was comfortable, and it was a big bonus to be able to do our laundry. We didn't do much cooking, but the kitchen seemed well equipped. We had a great meal at the Campground - if you are looking for something a little special. My 18 year old daughter and I saved one afternoon for shopping in the cute stores in town. If you like thrifting, you'll be happy! A jet boat tour on the Klamath River is a must. We saw bears, eagles, and sea lions and it was a beautiful trip to the estuary.
