This Carriage House is a very well-equipped suite with lots of sunlight which is situated approx.15 steps above the garage in a nice residential area and quiet neighborhood in N. Nanaimo approx. 10 minutes from the Departure Bay Ferry & Downtown Nanaimo. The suite is new and is very tastefully decorated with modern furnishings. The suite is very clean and immaculate and the kitchen is well-equipped with all modern amenities and cupboards are stocked with many extras. Modern bathroom/ shower with lots of towels and a stacking washer and dryer which was really nice to have on our week long stay. The home is close to many shops and restaurants in the area. The hosts live next door and are very friendly and easy to talk to and if there was anything you needed, Angelo was a text or phone-call away! We stayed here for a week we really enjoyed our stay at the Carriage House! Nanaimo has lots to offer - beautiful beaches & parks. We explored the towns, beaches & parks north to Qualicum Beach & Coombs (Old Country Market - Goats on the Roof!), and south to Duncan and Maple Bay. Our favorite places to eat was the Longhorn Brew Pub & the Crow & Gate English Pub in Nanaimo. Best Parks, Beaches & Trails: Piper’s Lagoon Park & Neck Point Park. Thank-you so much to our hosts Angelo & Michele for their kindness and warming hospitality and for making our stay so enjoyable! We can hardly wait to return back to Nanaimo for another wonderful stay at the Carriage House! Marty & Sonja Peterson

We had previously stayed here so knew the benefits of the location and the layout of the unit. Impressed that the feedback previously provided was addressed with much improved kitchen utensils, dishes, glassware, etc. Loved the laundry in-unit too. Will definitely stay again!

very comfortable space for our stay in Nanaimo - but wish we had known that there were so many stairs... our family members could not visit us at the suite as they could not climb the stairs. A ramp would have been much appreciated.

This property was above what we expected! Clean, close to the ferries and stores. Come and go as we please. We had a little issue with the door code when we first arrived, but this was resolved immediately.

The only misleading thing about the ad is the pictures were taken in the evening, the unit is SO bright and beautiful, tons of natural light, very modern. We loved it. Comfy bed and bedding. The host had SO many brochures and magazines giving ideas of things to do. Super great location, very quiet and safe. Will absolutely stay here again. I recommend 10/10

We really enjoyed having this carriage house as our vacation base. It’s just right for two people, has all the amenities, and it was easy to find. Especially appreciated were convenience items such as paper towels, napkins, coffee filters, Kleenex, laundry detergent, and such that we didn’t have to worry about buying. There were food storage containers so we could pack lunches and snacks, baggies, plastic wrap—all things to make our vacation easier. Many thanks to Angelo for this home away from home.

The property owner was friendly and helpful. Three days before our stay we received an email with all needed info: where to park, key code for lock, directions to find unit, phone number if you needed to call, owner name etc. owner checked to see if we needed anything or had questions. Unit was large and comfortable. Appreciated having a washer dryer. Great place.

This is a great place staying in Nanaimo if you want to be close to stores, Downtown, and easy access to the Highways. The neighbourhood is very quiet, really enjoyed waking up to the song of the birds. New construction, clean, well equipped with all necessities of home. Lots of window to enjoy a nice breeze. Definitely recommend would stay there again.
