About this condo rental
Situated in Surfside Beach, this attractive condo for $250 per night is a great choice for your next trip. Welcome to your recently updated temporary coastal getaway a.k.a. Channel Marker 301 in beautiful and delightful Surfside Beach, SC, a town which even Wikipedia knows as the "Family Beach". Surfside Beach is conveniently located near many family-friendly Myrtle Beach attractions such as Brookgreen Gardens, Broadway at the Beach, Ripley's Aquarium, SkyWheel, Myrtle Waves, and Family Kingdom just to list some of the many options. Your temporary beach residence at Channel Marker is a 3rd floor end unit with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a private balcony with comfortable seating, a cozy kitchen and dining area, and most importantly Alexa in every room. You'll also have for your enjoyment an outdoor swimming pool (open seasonally April-October), an outdoor grill, free high speed Wi-Fi, and direct beach access just beyond the pool. It has 1 covered assigned parking spot as well 2 unassigned guest spots located near the unit itself. Unfortunately the building has no elevator and also no pets or smokers are allowed. The spacious master bedroom has its own unobstructed beach &ocean view, a king size bed, a small closet, a chest of drawers, an en suite bathroom with a newly tiled shower, and also a wall-mounted 4K smart television to watch (assuming you can keep your eyes off that mesmerizing ocean view). In the 2nd bedroom, guests will be able to snuggle up for a good night's rest in the comfy Captain's bunk. This room has a wall-mounted television as well. which rests on a swivel mount for easier viewing. The guest bedroom also includes a chest of drawers and a small closet. The guest bathroom comes equipped with a tub/shower. For yet even more convenience, your temporary vacation condo comes stocked with a hair dryer, iron and ironing board, and ample bed and bath linens for both bedrooms and bathrooms to accommodate its maximum of 6 guests. For your laundry needs, in the master bathroom you'll discover a washer/dryer combo able to accommodate small loads. The living room, designed to simultaneously enhance conversation and ocean viewing, has a full size sofa, 2 comfortable chairs, a wall-mounted 4K smart television with lots of cable tv channels to choose from. For your total enjoyment, the living room's 4K smart tv includes Amazon Prime, Netflix, Hulu, Peacock, Discovery+, Pluto, Pandora, and much, much more. You'll be able to use Alexa to help make certain you have no unanswered questions during your vacation. For example you may need answers to questions such as: When is high tide? Where can I buy pizza? What time do the Tanger Outlets open? Where is the nearest golf course? What's the best route back to my home town? etc. Alexa also controls the living room and bedroom lighting. Also found in the living room is direct access to your private balcony. The private balcony has unobstructed views of the swimming pool, beach, and Atlantic ocean. You'll be able to use those unobstructed views to witness and take pictures of the stunning, picturesque sight of the morning sun rising over the majestic Atlantic. Your fully equipped kitchen has updated stainless steel appliances, i.e. microwave, fridge, stove, and dishwasher as well as garbage disposal for all your cooking needs. There's no need to worry about cookware, flatware, or even dinnerware. For further convenience, the stainless steel cookware is both ovenproof and dishwasher safe. Don't forget to bring your favorite K-cups! The kitchen has both a coffee maker and a Keurig to prepare your favorite cup of morning Joe. For intimate dining, bar stools located at the counter are at your disposal. So come stay in oceanfront Channel Marker unit 301 in safe and friendly Surfside Beach. Here you'll be only a few short steps to the beach. Here you'll only be a short drive to all the Myrtle Beach amenities. Here you'll be among friends. PLEASE NOTE: To ensure the safety of our guests, extra deep cleaning methods are applied using antibacterial and disinfecting agents as suggested by the CDC for short term rentals. Furthermore due to the pandemic, please be advised there may be disruptions to the normal schedules of things such as restaurants, attractions, lifeguards, etc. By booking Channel Marker 301, all guests acknowledge and accept the pool's Covid-19 prevention guidelines. Please inquire for the latest updated information about any potential closures if you feel this may affect your decision to book. I want to reiterate that the building itself has no elevator and the unit is on the 3rd floor. As of November ‘22, I can unfortunately no longer offer under building storage for beach items. All storage units had to be removed as they were deemed a potential hazard in the event of flooding by the city of Surfside Beach. One final thing I feel is noteworthy is that no trailers are allowed on the property due to the parking lot being somewhat small. There is a city parking lot about a block away. We enjoyed our stay at this condo in Surfside Beach. The views from the balcony are awesome and you are just a few steps away from the beach for a nice walk.
Usually we struggle with mattresses at rentals or hotels being too hard for our backs, so we travel with a mattress topper, when driving. Not this one, it was just right for us.
We hope we can rent this place again in the future.

We stayed here a couple of years ago after staying in several other condos in the same property. This one is the best. Brent is super nice and is always quick to answer any questions. This is our only place to stay! Booking the next birthday trip soon!

Nice color palette and decor. Living room furniture
somewhat worn. All surfaces especially the lampshades, the vents and any decor VERY, very dusty. Tried using the extremely heavy vacuum to get up some crumbs we had spilled but the odor and very strong dust smell coming from this vacuum, (almost like body odor), was too strong. Could not detect a full canister so unsure why the bag on vacuum smelled so bad. Three very flimsy, light plastic Adirondack chairs on lanai, quite difficult to get out off, always felt they were going to crack. Very are not over weight either. Mattress in master bedroom was very comfortable. Modern bathroom. Cloth shower curtain in hallway bathroom had something on it, didn’t look like dirt but was dark brown. Walls in condo had dust on them. The lampshades were the worst though. Wheezed and sneezed the entire stay unfortunately.

Our condo was just what the pictures showed. We loved being right on the beach. Very spacious & nicely decorated. Everything was within walking distance or just a short drive. The only concern we had was the water pressure in the master bedroom was low.

Channel Marker 301 had everything we needed with spectacular views of the Atlantic Ocean and the beach. Sitting on the comfortable deck or living room the views were Great. Sunrise cup of coffee couldn’t have been better. Comfy Master bedroom and spacious master shower made it like home. Kitchen was nice and had everything we needed. 5 star all the way. We’ll definitely be back.

We couldn't have been happier with our stay. Everything that we needed was already supplied. It was spotless and was just the right size for our family. There was plenty of parking, which was very helpful. As you sit in the two chairs in the living room, it looks as if the ocean is coming up to the balcony. The view is beautiful! Our host was amazing! We left behind some clothes in the dryer and he ever so sweetly mailed them to us. Such a nice guy, and we can't wait to go back!

We loved our time in this cozy condo! The view was amazing to wake up to and the beach was great fun! What a great way to spend our time when we weren't watching our son play baseball at Ripken. The condo was clean, updated ant the beds comfortable. We will be back!

The owner Brent was absolutely wonderful to work with. He let us know when the Condo was ready, he gave me all the info that was needed and was just over all very pleasant to work with. We will definitely be coming back to stay at Brent's place at Channel Marker 301. One of our best Anniversary trips for sure!!! Thanks Brent!!!

This was our first VRBO experience and the property we selected ticked all the boxes. Our favorite part was seeing the beautiful sunrises in the morning and sunsets in the evening, plus the sound of the waves breaking on the shore. It was also conveniently located, cozy and well maintained. Would highly recommend!

We loved Channel Marker 301! It truly felt like “home away from home”! The anniversary welcome sign and champagne was such a sweet gesture!
Everything was so cozy, clean and comfortable! The kitchen is furnished with everything you need if you prefer to stay in and have meals there!
The view from the living room is amazing! There are books and games also available. My favorite part was coffee every morning on the balcony, watching the sun rise!
The master bedroom, (also with a great view of the ocean) and bath are very nice! The king size bed is super comfy! The large, tiled shower is awesome! I loved having the washer/dryer as an extra!
Just a few steps and you can be out on the beach! The weather was perfect while we were there so we spent a lot of time reading and relaxing while soaking up the sun! I also loved the evening walks on the beach!
I also liked the covered parking area with easy access.
Brent, the property owner, was awesome! He was very conscious of making sure all was well while we were there! Having personal contact is definitely a plus!

Channel Marker 301 was perfect! Beautiful, comfy condo with a sunrise view that you just have to see to believe! It is absolutely stunning! Being in the 3rd (top) floor corner unit, it was much quieter than many others that we had stayed in. You do have to climb stairs since there is no elevator but the climb is worth it. Brent was fantastic at communicating with us before, during and after our stay to make sure everything went smoothly and that we had everything we needed. He even accommodated our request for perfect weather! :-) I highly recommend staying here if you have the chance!
