It gives us great pleasure to provide properties that are of high standards to our guests and their companions. My wife and I stayed 4 nights. Arrived Wednesday afternoon and departed Sunday morning. Enjoyed our stay at Harry’s Hideaway. Neighbors were quiet but friendly. Very safe to walk around the neighborhood. We planned on coming back for a longer period. Thank you Steve and Melissa for your hospitality.

We had a great long weekend here. It was perfect for a couple staying in Long Beach. The house is in a great neighborhood and we enjoyed walking around the area. Everything was clean and comfortable and exactly what we needed. One of our best rental experiences ever!

This conveniently located guest house apartment has everything you need for 2. Eclectic decor and a very comfortable king bed! Nice quiet neighborhood convenient to everything. Would definitely stay here again! Hostess is a lovely lady who was very friendly and helpful.

We were very comfortable during the 30 year SoCal "snow" at Harry's Hideaway. Sadly one of the best features went unused due to the rain/wind/inclement weather---the outside seating areas and garden. We could only enjoy looking out at them from inside. The place is charming and whimsical. There is so much attention to detail in the decorating! The neighborhood was great for walking when we could dodge between raindrops. We hope to visit sometime when we can fill our days with hiking, sailing, birdwatching. And dining al fresco. Thank you Melissa!

This is the best VRBO I have ever stayed in. The place was immaculate and beautifully decorated for Christmas. There were flowers in the bathroom and living room. Just an amazing place. We even had a place to store our bikes. Thank you so much.

This is a very well maintained and appointed property. Everything you will need is provided. Nice layout for a small property. Good location in a clean and friendly neighborhood, within 2 minutes of 2nd Street in Belmont Shore by car, or walkable if you prefer. Pet friendly, but be advised that the outside areas are not fenced. Host is extremely responsive and helpful. We would stay here again.

We knew what to expect as we’d stayed once before, but still, we were more than pleased with our experience in this charming little house. It was everything we needed, and more. Close access to all amenities, in a stunning neighborhood to walk our dog, makes this an ideal location.

This is the 3rd time I have stayed here and I always have a great time. Melissa and Steve are very gracious and Harry's is a lovely and comfortable place to stay. It's in a great walkable dog friendly neighbor close to the beach and shops on 2nd street. I hope to stay here again when I visit my family in Calif.

Really nice location and place to stay at. Had one incident the first night with having the wrong keys. Ended up being locked out late at night. The host were helpful the night of but the morning after Melissa strongly expressed her concerns in not so such a professional way. Understandable I suppose but not much to my liking. Other than that everything was very well!
