Sink into the hot tub after a long day on the river, hiking with friends or biking the world class Monarch Crest Trail. Enjoy all of the amenities that our lovely town of Salida has to offer, but then come home to the Sunflower house for outdoor entertaining and some serious relaxation. Take in the beautiful sunflower garden as it grows through out the summer. This cute 2 bedroom house is decorated with brand new modern furniture and artwork from some of our fine local artists. Townie bikes are provided for up to 6 people to make traveling to and from town a breeze. This unique home offers 2 bedrooms and 2 modern sofas that convert into single comfortable beds.

We absolutely loved Salida and the house. It was the perfect location to downtown and my kids loved the bikes and hot tub.

We stayed her the last weekend of October. The bikes where so great to see town. The house was well accommodated with wverything we could need. The space was perfect for 4 adults and the separation of the bedrooms made it feel even larger. The hot tub was perfect and the backyard set up was great for some outdoor time. Flawless stay with clear instructions. Plan to stay here agin in the future!

My stay was a perfect retreat! Everything about Sunflower House from the front porch swings to the absolutely comfortable beds made it it a very relaxing week.

Great little house with nice amenities (hot tub, bikes, etc) and location within walking distance to downtown. Very, very hot in the summer with no A/C and the recommended usage of the swamp cooler didn't really cool it down much. Ended up spending a lot of time messing with the swamp cooler and arranging fans just to get it to a bearable temperature - not the way I would've liked to spend my vacation time in Salida. Would stay again but not in the summer.

Had a wonderful time here. Very relaxing and clean. We could walk just about anywhere we wanted to go and felt safe. Loves the sky chairs out front and all the seating options in the back.

We so enjoyed our stay at the sunflower 🌻 house. The host was amazing, kept in touch when we needed, but gave us our space to enjoy our vacation! Location of this place is awesome far enough away from Main Street to not feel like you are in the hustle and bustle of town, but close enough to take the dogs for a walk to the river. The beds were comfortable the kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed, the house overall was awesome. I especially loved sitting in the hot tub after a nice long day of riding bikes. I would highly recommend this place to anybody.

We had a wonderful time. The hot tub was awesome after our days at Monarch. I definitely enjoyed having coffee on the front porch swings every morning. Having access to the bikes and nearby park was an awesome treat for our daughter. Thanks for allowing us to bring our dog, definitely completed our trip having him there with us.

Our family came up to Salida for a ski trip getaway and found the perfect place to stay. We brought our two dogs with and enjoyed a very quiet place that was still close to the heart of Salida. We used the hot tub every night and enjoyed the spacious living room for board games and movies. Our dogs appreciated the fenced in yard, too. This place was exactly as advertised. It was very comfortable. The kitchen was well-stocked and roomy. Two bedrooms were perfect for a family of four. Everything was fantastic.

This was my husband and my second time staying at this property. The location is great and within easy walking distance to downtown. We love that we can bring our dogs with us; the outdoor space is great, and if you have any questions about anything, Caren is easy to get a hold of and quick to respond. :)

Caren's property worked really well for our trip. The house was clean and had all the amenities we needed. The outdoor space was more than adequate for our needs and was really nice to have. All the restaurants and downtown are walking easy walking distance and trails are just a short bike ride away. We'll definitely be back! Thanks - Greg
