It is very nicely appointed with amazingly comfortable beds from Tempurpedic and Sleep Number, a classic tin ceiling in the Master bedroom, and a lovely and lush private back yard for Summer BBQ's! Front porch with great mountain views! Mere blocks from downtown shops and restaurants and the Arkansas River, and mere minutes from the most amazing outdoor playground Colorado has to offer, this home puts you in the middle of it all! * Pricing good til midnight. This home offers: Air Conditioning- window unit in the kitchen/living area ~ Two comfortable bedrooms, one with a King size Sleep Number bed, one with a Queen size Tempurpedic bed ~ An extra thick, brand new foldout futon in the living room ~Newly remodeled kitchen with granite counter tops ~55" flat screen TV with Play Station Entertainment Center ~ Cable and Internet ~Walls decorated with original art pieces from local Salida Artist ~BBQ Grill with 4 burners ~Front porch with beautiful mountain views ~The all-natural snow at Monarch Mountain ski area is 25 minutes away, or hike and bike the first class trails on Tenderfoot Mountain - just blocks away. The best of Colorado's seasons surrounds you! ~This home does not have air conditioning in the bedrooms All Pinon homes are "vacation ready" with a fully appointed kitchen, towels and linens. Hand, dish and shower soaps are provided, as well as toilet paper, trash bags, salt and pepper and coffee filters. Bring your own laundry detergent, paper napkins and toiletries. Pinon Vacation Rentals provides guest support from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 pm. All guests are responsible for reading Welcome Book “Check-In and Check-Out instructions. ~Cleaning Fee is $140.00 (CDC Guideline Clean) ~Discover, Visa, MC accepted for payments. ~Acceptance of the terms of the Rental Agreement and all Rental Policies is ASSUMED at the time of reservation. Five to 7 days before arrival, check-in instructions will be sent to guest. **This home is rented for personal vacation use only. Any other use including large gatherings or parties is not allowed. Renters must abide by all rental terms and policies, as well as all local applicable property covenants, restrictions, regulations and laws. Any evidence of smoking, use of firearms, driving ATV's other than in the driveway as access only, unapproved over-occupancy or pets, unauthorized use of property grounds, damage resulting from violation of rental policies, and/or excessive mess may result in charges up to $1000.00 to the Guest's credit card on file, as authorized by Guest's approval of the terms of the Rental Agreement. Reservations may be canceled more than 30 days prior to check-in with full refund minus a $125 Cancellation fee or a $75 Change fee if applicable. No refunds will be issued after this cut-off date for any reason. No refunds will be issued due to weather conditions.** **Trip Cancellation and Travel Insurance Available on booking page.

The house is quite comfortable, and we found the kitchen setup to be good. It was also convenient to have the parking off of the alley. The river and the shops and restaurants near the river are all very walkable from the house.

The property was clean and fit our needs for a weekend stay for a family of 4. Enjoyed our time close to Monarch Ski Resort and Princeton Hot Springs.

Serenity in the mountains
Centrally located in Salida, this is a very clean and user friendly house. Plenty of room, great back yard, comfortable beds and very well stocked and easy to use kitchen. Property managers are wonderful. Deer roam the town and one morning had a doe and fawn in the back yard.

We were there to ride bicycles so we parked the car when we arrived and didn’t move it until we left.

There is a small window unit in the room behind the kitchen which does not cool the bedrooms at all. It was like an oven with record heat that week. Management was cooperative and brought 2 large box fans but indicated the owner refuses to purchase ac units for the bedrooms. It was 97 and took almost 2 days for the house to cool down as many windows have sheer curtains and no shades so no way to block out the sun. Sleeping with a box fan blasting in our faces for the 3 nights we were there was awful and resulted in us not sleeping well at all and me getting sick. Climate is changing. Air conditioning is a necessity. We never would have stayed here had we known there was no ac in the bedrooms. This was a really awful experience for us and although management gave us a discount it was not enough to make up for the truly awful experience of staying in this hot little house. We do not recommend this property and will not return.

Wonderful place!
5 stars all around. Excellent location, accuracy of photos, cleanliness, check in and out, and the little touches of Salida (art work, books, etc.) were a treat. Very comfortable beds with rooms that offer black out shades (if needed). Awesome yard. Look forward to returning.

Nice Getaway
The home has nice interior features, remodeled kitchen, baths, rooms. We wanted to be close to downtown for this trip. We walked to shops/restaurants during the day, but at night, it felt better to drive. Spent several hours in the back yard patio area reading, having drinks & watching the deer eat in the yard.
