The house itself is a modern multi-level 3,500 sq ft home, fully furnished with 6 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. The house can sleep [x] and includes wifi, flat screen tv with netflix account and lots of DVDs for rainy days. An open concept kitchen and living area has views out onto the lake, with a large back deck for summer bbqs and your morning coffee. Our family of 7 adults and 4 children stayed at this lovely home for 3 nights over the Thanksgiving weekend. The home is very spacious, with more than enough room for all of us to eat, sleep and visit comfortably. The kichen is well equipped, with lots of work space. The proximity to the lake was a real bonus and the abundance of hiking trails in the area gave some of our group the opportunity for lots of exercise. All in all, we were very pleased with everything and will definitely book this property again.q

The place was very clean and the listing is accurate. It has a great layout for large groups. We had 12 people and it fit us perfectly. We really enjoyed our weekend and Tricia was a great host. She had great communication but left us to enjoy her house on our own.

This is our second year staying in this home with our our whole family. 7 adults and 7 kids and everyone is very comfortable, lots of space for us and then we would walk a few metres to the lake for the day, was perfect! Tricia was accommodating when we asked about an early check in and with all her communications was very prompt and helpful. Thank you!!!

We stayed at the property for 6 days as a family of 15 visiting extended family in Hope. It was the perfect home base for all the fun activities that the area has to offer. The house had enough room for us all to congregate for meals and games, but also spaces for us to spread out when needed. The arcade games in the basement were a big hit with the kids, and we all enjoyed meals on the large back deck. Would certainly recommend this clean and functional vacation home!

Tricia's house was spacious and was just steps away from a beautiful lake with a beach. The house even had two arcades that the kids thought was the highlight of the trip! Tricia was very helpful and even the neighbour was super kind and nice! It was a good stay overall.

Lovely Location
Our family, 2 adults and 4 children (1-13 yrs old) had a great week here. The house is in a great location to spend time at the lake, river or hikes. It has everything needed for a comfortable stay.

Great location. Weekdays were very noisy with neighbours houses under construction from 7am onwards. Very well equipped. Couches need replacing otherwise it was a great getaway.

Would prefer that non-perfumed detergent was used for the bedding. The scent was a bit strong for some of us.
Kawkawa Lake is nice for swimming although a little shallow in the roped off area.

First Class
We had a fabulous time - great property, great location, well maintained. The house is modern. Laundry room just off the kitchen was handy and well stocked; lots of linens, kitchen and panty had lots of utensils and supplies. Toy cupboard kept a three year old and nine year old interested plus puzzles, games, etc. Nice yard. Air conditioning was nice as we were there during a heat wave. Tricia was always accessible, very helpful in providing information and keeping in touch. The location is superb, so close to the lake, which everyone enjoyed. Easy to run back to the house for food or whatever and easy to drag own toys, blankets, beach stuff, etc. We brought a paddleboard and wagon which were handy. Access to garage was great for bikes and other stuff. Driveway parking for 3 to 4 cars. Quiet and nice neighborhood. 5 minute drive to grocery, bakery, pizza, etc. We were an extended family of 5 adults and two children. Couldn't have been better. Would definitely book here again.

Best time ever
It was an amazing time at this house!!! I didn't want to leave . Coffee out front looking at the mountains or on the porch still looking at mountains or the entry to the lake . So easy to have a relaxing time there ...walk across the street to Kawkawa lake and spend the day come back for lunch and go again . Kayaking was great there . Stores all close by ...Tim Hortons, McDonald's,saveonfoods, fast stations, liquor store and restaurants. She had the house stocked with everything needed . Cupboards had spices and seasonings and fridge was full of condiments and pantry had lot of extra toilet paper and paper towel and towles and clothes . Lots of pots and pans and cups plates bowls so no need to bring anything . Very comfortable house and just overall great time . I will be coming there again .

Very close to the lake (but far enough to avoid the noise), newer home, well-equipped with very thoughtful touches. Our family had a wonderful weekend here - so close to Metro Vancouver but yet by a lake in the mountains....wonderful!

The perfect spot!
What a great find! My family and I truly enjoyed our stay. Everything was very comfortable we would recommend this place to any family looking to get away from the city. The lake was awesome and just a stones throw away from the house! You’ll love it!

Quiet retreat
This was our second time at this property and we really enjoyed our stay again. The house has a large amount of space and is perfect to hold all our stuff for the week. We hope to come back again.

We had our family come together and stay in this wonderful location. There are endless outdoor activities to do - hiking, bike park, kayaking, fishing, sightseeing, hot springs.

Very nice, not quite perfect
Great location and neighborhood, beautiful lake and mountains. Master bedroom is gorgeous; the other three were a bit small and spare. We were able to sleep nine with a rinky-dink mattress and frame we found in a closet, but the “sleeps 10” description in the listing is a big stretch. Living area and kitchen were very spacious and enjoyable, but couches were a bit on the ragged side. Appliances worked very well, as did wi-fi when six or fewer people were using it. (The router sometimes dropped users above that number.) We never received an answer to our inquiry about using the rowboat stored under deck, nor was it mentioned in the listing. Property manager was very helpful otherwise.

Excellent Property
This is the second time that I have stayed at this property. As per my previous stay it lived up to my expectations as well as the description on the website. The house is spacious and well maintained with all the equipment required for an enjoyable stay.
The location is good and at night it is quiet as it is in a residential road. There are many beautiful places to visit within a short drive and the town of Hope is nice and very scenic.
It is nice to sit outside with a drink and listen to the birds or to go to the lake (about 1 minute away) especially in the early morning or in the evening.
We would love to come back one day and from our experience, would recommend it to others.
