Our two-story 4-bedroom home in Tahoe Donner is perfect for a family or two families vacationing together. It has a master bedroom upstairs and three bedrooms downstairs, a separate family room where the kids can watch TV, and a hot tub on the back deck. Upstairs, the main living area has vaulted ceilings, floor-to-ceiling windows, and a stone fireplace. The kitchen has a solid-surface cooktop, and is well-equipped with everything from stainless steel pots & pans to a tortilla press. We keep our knives sharp, and have an easy-to-use electric sharpener on hand if needed. Downstairs, you'll find a family room with a fireplace, cable TV, and a cabinet stocked with games and puzzles. Bedrooms • Master (upstairs): California King bed. Adjoining bath with shower and two sinks. • Guest 2 (downstairs): Queen bed • Guest 3 (downstairs): Queen bed • Guest 4 (downstairs): Twin-over-queen bunk bed. The downstairs family room also has a sleeper-sofa with a pull-out double bed. All downstairs bedrooms share a bathroom with two sinks and a tub/shower. Guests have access (for a fee) to the Tahoe Donner Recreation Center: pool, fitness center, tennis, 18-hole golf course, equestrian center, family movie nights, and more. We had a great stay and we’re lucky to have a snow storm while there to make a great ski week. The house was great for our family and my sons college friends. The lower level allowed the college kids to do their thing. The hot tub was nice to soothe our sore muscles after a day of skiing. Will stay again.

We spent three nights here in the lead-up to Christmas with 2 kids ages 7 and 10, my husband and I, and my 90-year-old mother-in-law. The house was spacious and very comfortable for us - plenty of room for an additional family had we wanted to invite others. We loved the hot tub on the lower deck and the house’s proximity to Truckee and all of Tahoe’s beauty. Very close to Northstar, the historic Donner Summit, and a short drive over to Incline Village and Sand Harbor, where we enjoyed some time outside. Jack was awesome and available for any questions we had. I hope we can return here again in the coming years.

We stayed here for a weekend with 3 other couples. The cabin was amazing and picturesque. Between morning walks around the area, going to Tahoe City (20 minutes) and the palisades (10-15 minutes) or just lounging in the cabin/hot tub this rental made for the most perfect weekend! We will definitely be back. Already thinking about our next trip with the kids!

Spent a lot of time cooking warm meals in the kitchen. Placed several games and watched movies. Guys fished us girls enjoyed quality time. Hot tub with a beautiful view.

Truckee was a new destination for our annual ladies getaway. Skislope house was very spacious with everything we needed and a great location for getting away, but also convenient enough to run into town for shopping and great food. Would definitely stay there again.

This house was amazing!!! Just a gorgeous spot, the views out the windows and from the back deck were amazing! This is a perfect spot for a family get together, there's a comfy upstairs family room, plus a great room downstairs where the kids can hang out. The hot tub was really nice, it's a Hot Springs Spa. Only thing we needed were more ice cube trays, but other than that it was 100% perfect!!!

The house is spacious and close to hiking trails, grocery store & restaurants. My only complaint is the cleanliness of the home. Surface areas were clean but floors were not upon our arrival.

The home was perfect for our family! The downstairs family room was perfect for our granddaughters. We all enjoyed the hot tub too. The house could have used a thorough deep cleaning. The bathroom window sills had dead bugs on them & the floors in the bathrooms had dirt on them. The gas grill was filthy & there were tongs in the barbeque that hadn’t been cleaned. There was also a small zip lock bag of small tomatoes that had been left on the entry table. The kitchen & laundry room & bathrooms were well stocked with soap, paper towels , spices & towels. The hot tub was clean & ready for use. We would definitely stay there again!

Home was the perfect size for a big family and it you are looking for a neighborhood with close neighbors all around, this location would be great. Very close to town. The garbage was completely full when we arrived so it was difficult to add our garbage inside the bear box. The garbage collectors didn't pick up on the day and a lot of other owners had a "YES" which we didn't know if this was the case for all garbage owners to put out a sign. We did have a visitor, a bear, that wanted inside the house so that was exciting and also scary.

We had a great time in Truckee! The house was perfect for our group of 8. The hot tub was an added bonus! Lots of restaurants and shops in Truckee to enjoy. Not a long ride to Lake Tahoe either. Would definitely stay here again!

Lovely home perfect for our group of 10. Well-stocked kitchen, tons of games, and towels for hot tub were appreciated. Beware the upstairs room gets quite warm while the heater is on for the cold downstairs. There were quite a few spiderwebs & spider friends (although to be expected in the woods this time of year). Host was extremely accommodating and communicative.

We enjoyed the space which was cleaned before we arrived. The downstairs family room is a nice place to hangout. Communication with owner is excellent. He was flexible and communicated with all parties due to the storm. As others have mentioned, the road getting up to the house was icy and greatly recommend 4x4 which had an easier time than the sedan with chains.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Skislope house in Tahoe Donner. Its a beautiful home that slept five of us comfortably. The house has a very warm and fun vibe - we loved Bentley, the stuffed bear. Our trip was in August 2022, so the weather was warm, but not hot, and it was really nice to enjoy our coffee in the morning, or a glass of wine in the evening, outside at the large dining table on the back deck. The large (indoor) dining table was also perfect for group dinners and playing board games. The kitchen is well laid out, it's easy to talk and visit while you're cooking, and it was well appointed with everything you will need, even if you're cooking for a large group. It is a 2-story home with stairs, including a few stairs coming from the entryway into the main part of the house. The master bedroom and bathroom are upstairs and the rest of the bedrooms are downstairs. The beds were very comfortable. We didn't use the hot tub, but it's good size and I'm sure it's very relaxing. The house is in a perfect location. It's quiet, but it's also very easy to get to the main part of Truckee in just a few minutes, where you can go to Safeway for groceries, get an ice cream at Dairy Queen or visit the many local shops and restaurants. The Manager, Jack, was very easy to work with. We appreciated his responsiveness to our questions and requests, before, and during our stay. I highly recommend the Skislope house. We hope to visit again in 2023!

We had an amazing time. Our family really appreciated the extra downstairs space for the kids, and dipping into the hot tub after playing in the snow every day was amazing. Beautiful living space with floor to ceiling windows, well stocked kitchen. Jack was very responsive when we couldn’t figure out how to work the fireplace. We will be back!

We had a wonderful time staying at the Skislope house. Jack was very responsive and easy to communicate with. Check in was a breeze and the house had everything we needed. Our 2 little kids (2 and 4) loved the downstairs playroom and the grownups loved the hot tub. We would definitely come back!

We would definitely stay here again. It worked well for our group. The hot tub was hot! And so convenient to step outside and right in. The kitchen had some spices we needed and was well stocked with pans, utensils and plates. We all agreed the beds we’re comfortable. The access to streaming accounts made our kids happy! Was easy to communicate with Jack.

We had a wonderful stay over Thanksgiving weekend. Jack was very responsive with all our questions. The home was “cozy” according to my 3 year old. Everything we needed was provided, the home was clean, plenty of games for the kids (and adults). The hot tub was the cherry on top. So much detailed put into making this home comfortable for guests. Only “con” is that the yard is on a slope so the little ones can’t just play outside, but there was plenty of deck space to make up for it. We would definitely stay here again!
