About this house rental
Beautiful mountain compound in Western Pennsylvania. This sprawling country home features 6 bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms, 2 half bathrooms and a large sleeping loft. The wrap around deck overlooks a beautiful lake, spring fed pond and mountain stream with wild trout. We have an open kitchen ideal for entertaining, Starlink WiFi, Bluetooth enabled speakers, great room with a large fireplace, game room with a regulation pool table and ping pong table as well as a second fireplace. Our lake is filled with Largemouth Bass, Perch and Bluegill. There are water & open field views out of almost every window as well as a large outdoor fire pit for smores & stories under the stars. Enjoy the large deck overlooking the lake or take the whole crew up to the upper fields, (Rocking chair ridge) to watch the glorious sunset. Leave all your worries behind; this is truly a place to unwind, unplug and enjoy time in the great outdoors with family & friends. Bring friends, family, dogs, mountain bikes, fishing rods, footballs, frisbees, hiking shoes, golf clubs, cameras etc and a huge sense of adventure - there is a lot of cool things to do. ******Please Note - We Do Not Allow ATV or UTV Use on Property. We Do Not Allow College Parties, Prom Groups & The Minimum Age to Rent Our Home is 25 Years Old******

This was the best location yet and we’ve been renting properties through VRBO for years. The cabin was spotless! There was nothing that you needed. It was all there for you. This was by far our best trip and I can not wait to go back! We LOVED IF!

My six siblings, their spouses, and I loved the property. The house had lots of room and lots of vantage points to enjoy the beautiful scenery, nearby pond, lake and rolling hills. Hiking was excellent: a short walk and we circled the lake or the more adventurous hikers took off for the woods trails. The kitchen was beautifully equipped with room for many chefs. All these features made for a great reunion!

We stayed here for a family wedding in Berlin with 6 families from all over the country and kids from 10 and up. What a find! Such an interesting and beautiful property- perfect for us. So well stocked and open floor plan was great for a large group. Very clean and great communication with property owners/managers. Thank you for sharing this treasure with us!

Group of us guys from the family came to stay here for a wedding gift and we all enjoyed it very much. Would definitely recommend people to give this place a shot. Had a blast. Very nice clean location.

Hosts were awesome, the house has everything you need even including water toys, kayaks, fire starter, etc. The kids played in the lake and pond all day. The hiking trails are wonderful, it’s better than the listing can describe.

I've stayed at this home several times with old friends as a sort of reunion for our group. The property is picturesque, peaceful, and private. You feel like you have a whole valley to yourself in a beautiful mountain setting. Hope to stay again soon.

isolation, peace and quiet, like no other place on earth

What a great property! Very private with beautiful views. We loved exploring the trails during the day, as did the pups. We picked a rainy week, but those days were just as enjoyable spent in front of the fireplace and playing pool in the game room downstairs. The large porch was great for looking at the stars at night, nothing like what you'd see at home! You can tell the house itself has been recently updated, it was clean and had everything we needed for our large group. Would love to stay here again!

This was truly one of the greatest properties our group has ever stayed at in our lives. The Wolff’s home is so remote, you can’t hear anything but the sweet sounds of nature all around you. We enjoyed canoeing, swimming, hiking, lawn games, bonfires, and slow mornings with coffee on the deck. The house has plenty of room for large groups to spread out and the lack of AC was not an issue at all, even in late August. Everything in the house was clean and well-stocked. Michael and Josh were fantastic hosts with excellent communication. It would be an honor to stay at their massive slice of paradise again in the future!

We had a wonderful stay on the property as the whole family gathered to celebrate my in laws 50th anniversary. The kids had a blast playing in the creek and the adult enjoyed watching from the porch.

Amazing Place
It’s feel like we rented the entire mountain lol so much fun things to do. We were a big group of 24 and the house was big enough for our stay. We had so much fun hiking, fishing and exploring the surroundings. The board games, 8 pool, pin ping pong table. I felt like 2 days was not enough. Highly keeping this in mind for another trip but for more time lol. Kitchen is fully equipped.

Our stay at 600 Acres was beyond enjoyable. We stayed for a weekend for a work retreat and were all very impressed with the space. The home was comfortable, clean, and was fully stocked with everything you needed for your stay (supplies for cooking for a large group, plentiful firewood, extra blankets, etc.). The land was beautiful, and our group thoroughly enjoyed exploring. Michael and Josh were amazing hosts and were extremely responsive before and during our stay to ensure we were fully accommodated. We hope to return!

The weather did not cooperate at first but it didn't matter because the house gives you so much room to unwind, connect with each other, relax by a fire and so much else. The house was clean, fully stocked and ready for our stay. When the weather cleared, the view from the deck was spectacular!! Can't wait to go back!

The property is outstanding. It’s vast and beautiful with plenty of room for outdoor activities. We played volleyball, whiffleball and many others. The house comfortably slept 20 people. Hope to stay again soon.

Our Christian men’s group really enjoyed our stay here. The grounds are beautiful, quiet, and very peaceful. It was a chance for us to play some relaxing activities, enjoy a nice cracking fire under the moon, and explore the property and the wildlife.

Incredible
Part of me wants to tell everyone about this place...and another part of me wants to keep it a secret...
My friends and I have a big annual get together and we have always rented different cabins. After staying here, I can safely say our search for the ideal location is over. This property is incredible! We all had an absolute blast. From hiking around the property to swimming and canoeing to having epic nail biting ping pong matches. This place has it all. Plenty of comfortable sleeping spaces and bathrooms. All the space in the world for yard games and outdoor activities. Plus for how secluded you are, you're really not that far away from anything.
Owners were great, and responded quickly and extremely understanding in there flexibility during these strange times.

Perfect place to get away.
We love staying here because of the privacy and nature. Many birds, bat's, deer, bullfrogs, fish. Lots of places to walk around. A nice big field to play on. Canoes. The layout inside is great for groups, large and open. The cool mountain air always keeps you cool at night no matter how warm it was during the day. A perfect getaway.

Photos don't do justice for the beauty of the Property. Agreement and communication was excellent prior to, during and after the stay. Basement much more cool than the rest of the house but when you sit in the main area it cools down with all the fans available, so sleep downstairs if you run hot. The only other room that was really hot is the one with 2 sets of bunk beds. But th rest were all fine and even the loft was comfortable, plus the kiddos thought the ladder to the loft was super cool. Definitely an accommodating property for all ages and groups. We spent an entire day on the lake one day and the other on the land by the man pool and creek. Kiddos caught salamanders and crayfish claws. An absolute ideal place to fully unplug except to capture photos of the memories you make there. Highly recommended and without a doubt will visit the property in the future as our family grows. Nothing bad or concerning to say.
