Nestled in Big Bear, this lovely house for $117 per night is a great choice for your next break. Bodet Chalet, will provide an amazing mountain retreat experience, this Big Bear Cabin high on the mountain top will surely make this a dream vacation! As soon as you drive up the mountain to this wonderful cabin and enter the front deck, you will know you are in for a real treat! As you sit on the front deck porch swing surrounded by the tree tops of the tall pines and expansive sky and mountain top views, you'll know you're in heaven, or close to it! The peaceful breezes bring you to total relaxation and you'll want to sit on this front porch swing for hours. There's also a wonderful bistro table and chairs to enjoy you're morning coffee or an evening glass of wine. As you enter the front door you'll feel the openness and warmth of the great room, with wood beam vaulted ceilings and a wonderful wood burning stone fireplace in the corner. There's wood flooring, a comfy couch and love seat with a large 50" flat screen SmartTV with a Roku with Netfilx and access to other apps. By the entry there's a beautiful indoor cherry wood shuffle board table for many hours of fun with family and friends. The great room opens to the dining area that seats 6 and is open to the large kitchen that has a breakfast bar that seats 4 more. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to make great meals and includes a gas range, microwave, coffee pot, and dishwasher. Step outside to the back deck for entertaining and grilling on the propane barbecue. There are two tables for an outdoor meal or just relaxing in the fresh mountain air. Take some time for a game of horseshoes in the fully fenced back yard with mature oak and pine trees. Down the hallway you'll find a full bathroom with tub/shower combo and the washer and dryer. Take your pick from one of the three bedrooms. The master suite has a king bed, TV with Roku and private full bathroom. Bedroom two has a queen bed and SmartTV with Roku, while bedroom three has a twin over queen bunk and a SmartTV with Roku. Every room in this cabin retreat is decorated with wonderful mountain decor that is sure to delight everyone! Note: This cabin requires the use of stairs. No ground level entrance. The driveway has a steep transition from the road - high clearance vehicles recommended. Always carry chains in the winter months. The maximum number of vehicles permitted is on the exterior sign. No amplified music 24/7 Amplified music is not permitted to be heard beyond the property line 24/7. Close your windows to avoid music carrying beyond the property line. Head inside at 10:00 p.m. Noisy outdoor activities and spa use are prohibited from 10:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m. For pet-friendly homes ONLY Take your furry friend with you Take your dog with you so they do not disturb surrounding neighbors. You will find that Big Bear Lake is very dog-friendly! Please be sure to verify prior to booking that the property does accept pets. Take trash to dumpster locations Trash needs to be taken to a local dumpsite. Clean Bear locations: Please dispose off your trash in the green dumpster located in Destination Big Bear's parking lot, near the east entrance. The address is: 713, Stocker Road, Big Bear Lake, CA 92315. Fines The minimum fine for violating the rules stated previously is $500 per violation. A second offense is $1000 per violation. Eviction Unruly guests who blatantly disregard the rules and expectations will be evicted without a refund. In addition, costly citations may be issued to the undersigned. Important: Dear Traveler, you will be charged with USD 200 in case you include a Pet in your reservation as a Refundable Damage Deposit for Pets.

We had a lovely stay. The house itself is very comfortable. The only things that were a tad odd to me was that we had to take our trash with us and drop it off at the city dump, there were notes in the bathroom saying not to flush toilet paper, and all of the mattresses were very very firm, to the point of being uncomfortable. For as nice as a property as this house is, these issues seemed to make it a bit more “rustic” than the stay we were looking for. We paid a cleaning fee that really should include the disposal of trash.

Stayed over the holidays for a winter getaway. The property management company was very responsive to all communications. Check in was easy. The cabin was clean and comfortable. The only recommendation we have is true for all rentals - the knives in the kitchen are rubbish.:) If you are into cooking bring a sharp knife. Otherwise everything is well stocked and we had a great time.

Nice property, be prepared to hike the flight and a half up to the house before you see the view. But sunsets were beautiful! Suggest to bring paper or plastic plates for kids. Hot tub was clean.

Nice getaway.

The house is as advertised. We had a great time for our short getaway. The fenced yard was perfect for our dogs. We enjoyed the shuffleboard table and board games. The driveway is steep and narrow so don’t take that warning lightly. In bad weather it could be tricky. There are quite a few steps from the top of the driveway to the front door that will get your attention when combined with thinner air. All in all, I wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again!

Upper Moonridge was a great location for our family of small children. The open area of the kitchen and living room allowed us to keep an eye on everyone, and the bedrooms gave privacy when we wanted it. We loved the fireplace and backyard! It was close to town, and overall, a wonderful place to escape to. Thank you!

Overall this cabin was nice for our family getaway. Plenty of beds and baths. Kitchen and common areas nice and open for family time. Not too far from town or the lake. Only negatives were that the coffee maker didn’t work, pans were quite old, TV in master didn’t work, and definitely an ant problem. But other than those minor issues, a nice place.

Great dog friendly cabin. Cute decor and great for 2 families and a dog. Only down side is Be outside railings the wood is butchering and all of her hands had splinters that we had to pull out so be careful when using the railings

This cabin suited our purposes perfectly. Most important for us was the fully enclosed high fenced back yard for our Shepard mix. Comfortable bed (we only used the Master Bedroom), well appointed kitchen, TVs in every room and Blazing fast wifi. Checking in through the management company was pretty simple even though you had to stop by their offices to show ID. The only issue for some people may be the extremely steep driveway during winter months (though the provide lots of salt for de-icing). Overall: Would definily rent again.

Beautiful home! We loved our stay! Stocked with plenty of board games for the kids and everything we needed for a few days in the mountains! Nice walking trails nearby! The driveway is steep and quite a few stairs to get in the front door but lovely home, nicely decorated! I loved the twinkle lights in the trees, nice touch!!
