About this house rental
Our home offers three bedrooms with queen sized beds, and a loft with a single bed and two sofas. There are three full bathrooms. A full size kitchen with a dining area. There is a great room on each level. The lower level offers a pool table and a mini-bar. The wrap around deck offers a great view of the lake and spacious patio below. The double decker dock offers a covered dining area and bar area. The dock and boat slip should accommodate most lake watercraft.

John and Kyna’s house is situated on a picture perfect spot along a quiet inlet of Lake Norman. The dock is perfect for swimming and lazy-day lounging. The hosts are very kind and worked hard to make some major renovations to the property. The furniture in the house needed some attention, however we had a very pleasant stay.

This was my wife and I’s second stay at this house. It’s in a great location close to the state park for launching my fishing boat. It’s a real bonus to have a covered boat slip and car port for the nights that it rains. Beds were comfortable and everything very clean. Pool table and darts downstairs with the other bedroom and very large shower and bathroom were a bonus although we chose to sleep upstairs. My wife found the kitchen to be well equipped as she prefers to cook our meals. Could have eaten fish all week with all the fish I caught. Nice large TV for us to watch YouTube in the evenings before bed. John was very accommodating. You couldn’t ask for a nicer host! Thanks John, we’ll be back!!

Lake Norman is the star. The house is in a quiet neighborhood with great access to Lake Norman. The lake is beautiful and we saw wonderful wildlife. Big Daddy’s Restaurant and Oyster Bar in Mooresville has great fresh sea food. However, the house is dated and dark. The lower level is almost spooky. Some of the furniture is broken.The beds were comfortable but the pillows are stained. The curtains in the master bedroom have a 6 inch gap between them. We attached pillow cases to the valance to block the gap. The house is not well supplied. There is less than ample supplies available. As a matter of fact the host request guests replace everything they use. When you travel close to 2,000 miles this is a ridiculous request. There was no furniture on the floating deck and none was made available. There were no directions on how to use the fireplace. With the condition of the house we were too scared to try it on our own. There is no kitchen area in the downstairs as is shown in the pictures.
