Nestled in Ohio, this lovely cabin for $429 per night is a great choice for your next break. The Lodge is a 3,000-square foot, three-floor authentic log cabin, with rustic interior and locally crafted furnishings. With three bedrooms, a sleep loft, and three bathrooms, it accommodates up to 16 guests. Local Attractions The Lodge is located a short drive away from many attractions in Ohio’s scenic countryside. This includes a 45-minute drive from Ohio’s world-famous Amish Country and a 30-minute drive from Mohican State Park. You can also discover many different covered bridges, dirt roads, local parks and charming small towns that adorn Knox County. 23 minutes from Kenyon College and the cozy town of Gambier 24 minutes from Mount Vernon Nazarene University and the charming town of Mount Vernon Bedrooms & Bathrooms Loft: full-size “window seat” bed; queen-size bed; two twin-size day beds, and full-size futon; full bathroom. Main Floor: queen-size bed; full bathroom. Lower Level: bedroom #1: two twin bunk beds; bedroom #2: queen/twin bunk bed with queen on top, twin on bottom; full bathroom. Kitchen + Dining Area Kitchen: Full kitchen equipped with refrigerator, range, automatic dishwasher, microwave, toaster, and coffee pot. Dishes and cookware also provided. Dining Area: seats 10 around table; 2 more at bar. Other Amenities Indoor heated swimming pool. Satellite TV on main floor and lower level. Shuffle Puck table on lower level. Hot tub and fire pit on outdoor patio. Shared pond access. Washer and dryer. All linens and bath towels are provided. No pets allowed. Service dogs permitted. Firewood for the fire pit and indoor wood-burning stove is NOT provided.

Great place! Lots of room for guest and the indoor pool was an absolute hit for the kids!! The listing and information notes there isn't Internet, but there is now which was a great surprise when we arrived.

We had a great couple of nights here! The cabin was decorated for Christmas, is really cozy and sleeps plenty! Also each of the three levels has its own bathroom/shower. The kids had a blast in the pool, but note there is no shallow end. The kitchen is decently equipped but you willl want to bring your own bottled water, oil, spices, pan scrubber, etc. Also wifi was just installed before our visit. Host is friendly and met us onsite when we arrived. Look up Weyrich Woods Lodge for accurate directions. This cabin was a lovely getaway!

The cabin is even better in person! So much character and detail throughout the whole cabin. The indoor pool was the best part!! We had so much fun celebrating our bride to be by over eating and drinking, games, gifts, swimming, and having a fire! We will be back and hopefully next time we walk the property to see the beautiful scenery and/or stop in town for some food/drinks!

We had an amazing time at the cabin. The heated indoor pool was awesome! It was a great space just to hang out and unwind. Plenty of space for the 14 people we had. Enjoyed fishing, kayaking, and sitting around fire. Just what we were looking for and would definitely recommend for large group get together.

Beautiful private property with an extremely cool luxury cabin that sleeps up to 16. We were a group of long-time friends who stayed for a 3-day getaway , and we are already planning for a return reunion next year. The cottage was impeccably clean, decorated beautifully in a rustic motif, right down to authentic wooden beams and saddles for barstools. A fabulous heated indoor pool and an outside hot tub. This place truly has to be seen to be believed- a hidden gem. Check-in and check- out were a breeze. The property manager gave detailed directions to find the place, met us there to check us in and show us around, and was very responsive. Check- out was non- contact - no need to wait on anyone to sign out. Such a cozy, beautiful, homey vibe. Don’t hesitate for one moment to book. We will be back!!!

Great weekend getaway. Clean and relaxing. 2 things I think would make it better- door locks, they didn’t work properly. And couldn’t find where to turn heat down. Overall, we loved it and would love to come back.

This is the perfect spot for a family vacation. From the comfy beds to the swimming pool, the cabin was amazing. We truly apperciated our time here. Merri Anne is easy to work with and answered all our questions and concerns. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Amazing from top to bottom. Our family enjoyed spending time relaxing and enjoying the country setting. Everything in this home was extremely clean and well taken care for. The pool and hot tube just added to the much needed relaxation. The only negative I can think of was not being able to spend more then just the long weekend here.

We booked this for a weekend bachelorette party and it was perfect! Very clean and well kept cabin with lots of room and beds for everyone. The pool and hot tub were a hit. Highly recommended booking!

We absolutely loved this lodge! All the comforts of home while being “off the grid”. We had such a great time using the pool, hot tub and fire pit. Nice, large space for everyone to spread out, relax and just enjoy each other’s company for the weekend. Would definitely come back for another weekend.

FAMILY VACATION
We stayed here last year and had to come back, because it had everything on my check list for the kiddos to do.
Indoor pool, pond with a sandy beach. Tables in and out for the whole family to sit together. Plus a hot tub and horse rides if you desire. Great time had by all!

Birthday gathering
Merri Anne was really easy to talk to, especially when we needed to change our dates. The lodge itself is beautiful and well kept. We only had one issue with the microwave door being loose, but it still worked.
My son's friends especially enjoyed the heated pool and hot tub.
I wish they provided wifi because we didn't have any cell service. We could receive texts if we we were near a window but we couldn't get phone calls or have internet access. That was inconvenient.
It was a peaceful setting and great for gatherings.

Cabin was nice, the indoor pool was very warm too. The only downfall is poor cell service in the area, which is no fault to the property owner.

Unfortunately, we had to leave for a family emergency and Merri couldn't have been kinder, checking in on us after we'd left to make sure we were doing OK. This place is a gem - a gem! I'd recommend it to anyone and we can't wait to get back.

Beautiful secluded cabin with room for everyone
Clean, well kept log cabin in secluded area. Many thoughtful touches including decorated for the holidays! Indoor pool was 80-84 degrees and perfect for the cold end of December days. Hot tub was clean and like new. Three bathrooms, fully equipped kitchen and tons of sleeping areas. Short drive to area hiking trails, including a couple really nice waterfalls. Great relaxing the whole trip, especiallly in the swing on the porch.

A 60th Birthday Getaway
We had 8 adults and 4 children two years old and younger spend the weekend at the lodge for my husband’s birthday. Really great peaceful spot!
Overall, truly excellent spot to spend a few days with family. The only issues I had would the property needs a little updating to make it better for the customers in my opinion: 1)Caution sign for step to pool from family room (my mom did fall) and glass sliding door also needs a lock that works 2) Smoke detectors in 1st floor bathroom possibly moved or exhaust fan installed because they went off constantly when taking a hot shower 3) Left back burner to stove is not working 4) back handle needs to be replaced for hot tub outside, not duct taped for more stability. 5) Gotta get that 1st floor A/C wall unit to drain outside (should not have customers emptying a bucket) Overall, wonderful experience and site. These are truly minor things but I just want them noted so they are addressed and people can enjoy the vacation even more in the future.
