About this house rental
Nestled in South Chatham, this lovely house for $353 per night is a great option for your next trip. Comfort, convenience and beauty a mere 5 minute stroll away from Ridgevale beach. Nestled in a quiet neighborhood, our beach home has been lovingly furnished, decorated and updated. The open concept core is anchored by a newly renovated kitchen which is well equipped for the cooking enthusiast., including new gas stove, built in microwave, dishwasher and fridge. The Weber gas grill is close by on the back deck if you prefer sizzling steaks in the sea air. Downstairs the newly finished family room has a full sized pool table and 60 inch flat panel TV. The space is inviting , filled with natural light and comfortable seating. On the main level, behind the sliding custom barn door, is a spacious Queen bedroom. This level also has full sized washer and dryer and a full bathroom.Upstairs two more bedrooms await as well as the second full bathroom. One bedoom with King bed and the other with two twin beds.Every Cape Cod vacation home needs an outdoor shower, it's tradition but it really should be the law. So, yes, we have that too! We are attentive to detail and strive to make our homes a welcoming, convenient and comfortable space for our guests. Linens and bath towels included. This was a great house and location for three generations to enjoy Ridgevale, Hardings and all Chatham has to offer. Very comfortable and well stocked space. Hosts were responsive and space was thoughtfully cared for. Thanks for a great vacation!

We came to Chatham to visit with local family and celebrate our boys birthday’s. The location was excellent, Ridgevale beach is fantastic for the kids with the back waters and crabbing. Vacation to remember for sure!

We loved our stay at Summerfell. The house was so clean and stocked with everything we needed for a great vacation week. Our kids love Ridgevale Beach so it was such a treat to be a short walk away. Bill was easy to contact and told us to call him with any issues (we didn’t have any!). It made for a very relaxing week to stay at such a great house. We hope to be back again next year!

Summer visit
This is a lovely home that is very clean and well equipped for just about any family! The hosts were welcoming and responded quickly to a few small questions about things to do in the area. The house is in a great location (7 minute walk to beach), relaxing and comfortable. We enjoyed our week very much, and would return!

Quiet time
Had a relaxing vacation at ridgevale beach. The house was within walking distance of the beach. Room were spacious and comfortable and finished basement was a great added bonus.

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely home! The house is even nicer in person than in the photos! It's very comfortable, well stocked, clean and the location is FANTASTIC. The neighborhood is charming and the beach (which is absolutely beautiful) is only a short walk away. Also, the shops and restaurants of downtown Chatham are not more than a few miles away by car. Our teenagers loved the pool table and appreciated the big screen TV while we enjoyed the peaceful deck. The owners are were very kind and easy to work with. This property will NOT disappoint! We already want to go back!

Lovely home in an excellent location
We just returned from a wonderful, relaxing week at Summerfell. The home's layout was perfect for our family of two adults and three young children, with plenty of space for everyone. It was great to have the nicely finished downstairs as a bonus space for the kids to hang out in, and the furnishings throughout the home are comfortable, with a pleasant, beach-house vibe. The kitchen is well-equipped and has nice appliances, which I appreciated too! The location is on a quiet street within walking distance to Ridgevale Beach, and we were able to easily run and bike to the nearby Old Colony rail trail too. I highly recommend this property!

Great location for a family getaway
Fantastic place - we would stay again. Well situated with no close neighbors right behind. A/C was great for the hot days. Plenty of room to spread out for our family of three. Only downside was that the pool table is pretty badly out of true so we didn't get much use of that. Otherwise, it had everything we needed and was exactly as described.
We went the week before the high season started, so we had the option to drive or walk to the beach. The walk is short enough that my 10 year old didn't mind it. The bike path is an easy 5 min away as well. About 10 minutes into downtown Chatham by car for shopping etc.

Lovely home. Nice back porch, where we had most of our meals. 5 minute walk to ridgevale beach, where kids spent time building sand castles & playing paddleball. Short drive to Nickerson state park, where kids rode bikes and fished. We had wonderful week.

Relaxing getaway and great location
We really enjoyed our long weekend stay. The proximity to the beach, freshwater ponds and bike trail is a real plus. Nice neighborhood. The house is well maintained, bright and cheerful. Would certainly stay here again.

September Long Weekend

This was our first visit to Cape Cod and we have been so impressed with both the property and the service that Bill and Patty have provided.
The house itself it immaculate, beautifully furnished and wonderful for our family of four. The downstairs games room was a big hit for a game of pool or a chilled movie night in, whilst upstairs lent itself to chatting and socialising over a glass of wine whilst preparing dinner or playing board games in the evening. The kitchen was well stocked and had all the equipment needed for our stay and the outside deck caught sun most the day and was great for a quiet coffee in the am or a beer in the evening. All three bedrooms were comfortable and the integrated air con was quiet and efficient and a welcome bonus in the summer heat. All linens and towels were also provided which I understand is not the norm in Cape Cod so we were very grateful for this too!
The area surrounding the house was perfect, a short drive into Chatham Town and a short walk to Marion's Pie Shop and Ridgevale Beach. Chairs, umbrella and cool box were provided and we spent several days down at this local beach enjoying the sun and waves.
Finally, we must say a few words about the owners. We have stayed in lots of vacation rentals through airbnb and VRBO etc and have never encountered anyone who manages to marry together the personable and professional so well. This property is run exclusively a holiday let and this shines through in how well it is managed, however Bill and Patty, the owners, also live nearby and were on hand to ensure we were settled in and to give advice on local places to go and restaurants. We were also in town when the tornado hit and Bill and Patty were in constant contact, checking that we were ok and updating us regularly as to anticipated electric re-connection. They turned up armed with candles and batteries and torches and even offered us use of their own showering facilities if the re-connection was delayed further. They went above and beyond and absolutely made the holiday a stand out for us and we hope to return again. Many Thanks Jen, Ian, Meg and Georgia, Warwickshire, UK

Very well furnished home.
Thoroughly enjoyed our (6 adults) stay at 27 Soundview. Nicely decorated and everything we needed was there: best equipped kitchen I have ever rented, very livable living/dining area, three spacious private bedrooms, washer/dryer, outside shower, deck with gas grill, very strong Internet/WiFi, basement with large TV and pool table. We went to Ridgevale Beach twice but bought the Chatham beaches car pass and visited Hardings beach, Lighthouse beach and Oyster Pond beach as well - seems everyone had a favorite. Bill recommended some of his favorite restaurants. While I am accustomed to having a television in the bedroom, we just streamed shows on our phones or laptops.

Perfect location and lovely home.
The location of Summerfell is amazing. Its close to restaurants (Marion's Pie shop!), incredible ice cream (school house), Chatham beaches and shopping. The house is cozy and very practical for a family with or without children. My kids loved playing pool in the lower level and relaxing watching tv after a long day at the beach. There's a beautiful beach 5-7 minute walk from the house. It has an adorable snack bar and shallow area for little ones. We hope to return asap.

This home offers a wonderfully private deck, complete kitchen and comfortable bedrooms. The house was very clean and was just like the photos. Ridgevale beach was quite nice and a short walk away.

This property was perfect for our family. We had 4 adults and 2 kids. 5 minute walk to the beach. Chatham was the perfect central location so
it wasn't a long drive to Provincetown or Sandwich. Everything on the property was clean and organized. There were beach chairs for us to use. The owners were very helpful, meeting us at the property the first day and had lots of good suggestions for restaurants and places to see. They only have one tv in the home, it would have been nice to have one on the main level, but that's just a personal preference. Overall, our stay was fantastic and we will definitely be back to Chatham again!

Very clean, with comfy and relaxing decor- great beds. Glorious kitchen. Perfect place for our family to spend time together. Lovely neighborhood; enjoyed walking to nearby beach. The host did everything to make our stay a pleasure. Would recommend to friends.
