Situated in Taos, this lovely house for $239 per night is a great option for your next trip. Unique, Beautiful, Artistic, Historic Completely restored adobe. Casa Betita is a completely restored historic adobe dating back to the mid 1800’s. Casa Betita was home to generations of the same family until 2007. Since then, the house has been completely restored offering the finest elements of the 21st century with the charm, colors, textures and décor of true New Mexico including hand plastered walls, Kiva fireplaces, vintage rugs and the artwork of local artists. You can hear the waters of the Rio Pueblo and listen to Coyote’s gathering in the evening. The neighborhood horses and one donkey can be heard calling to each other and occasionally one might hear the bells from the church down the lane.This is not your ordinary impersonal vacation rental. Our family of four stayed here in November and it was memorable for all the right reasons. We had never been to Taos and we had to force ourselves to leave the property so we could actually see Taos.Being in the home was so enjoyable. Our dog loved it too.

Perfect get-away! Close to town, but quiet and inviting if you just want to stay in and relax. An unexpected snow was beautiful with a warm fire was icing on the cake. The large fenced yard was enjoyed by our pup, too!

We loved our stay here, the home is so rich in history and beautifully decorated inside. The walk into town was super pleasant and sitting on the deck late afternoon very relaxing. Highly recommend and hope to stay again some day!

My husband and small dog stayed here for three nights and were enchanted by Casa Betita! This adobe home, nestled in a beautiful, tranquil setting a short drive and walk from the plaza is so welcoming, and well-appointed with all kinds of thoughtful, artful touches. Melissa has thought of everything to make guests feel comfortable with a detailed instruction binder that includes a wonderful story about how she found and renovated the home and why it has a special connection for her and her family. The furnishings and artwork capture the spirit of Taos. I was hypnotized (in a good way) by the swaying branches of the willow in the wind. We definitely hope to return soon!

Beautifully restored old Adobe. To of the line restoration with every amenity imaginable. Loved the apple and apricot trees in the yard (so did our dog). It was quite warm during our stay but the wide verandas, thick walls, big trees and screen doors kept us very comfortable inside all day. Would stay here again for sure!!!

I have never stayed in a more hospitable, well equipped home. She makes you feel as if your family and truly wants you to enjoy the stay (local honey, spices, soaps, bath salts, candles, etc.). Our girls loved the swing from the beautiful willow tree. I would definitely recommend booking this home and we would stay again!!

We loved staying at Casa Betita! Perfect location, beautiful yard and porches, amazing decor and updates to the home. So much love and respect must have gone into the renovation of this property, because it can be felt in every corner. Everything that we needed was provided for a comfortable, relaxing stay.

We really enjoyed staying at Casa Betita! The house is beautiful and very comfortable . We were vacationing with our dog, and there is a large fenced yard that allowed her to roam! The house is in the neighborhood, but it is close to downtown Taos and we were able to enjoy our friends and family who live there. The kitchen was well appointed with everything you need to cook a fine meal at the house. The beds were comfortable as well. Melissa did an incredible job renovating this fine home.

We loved her property. We had some not-so-lovely weather and enjoyed the hot tub and card games with the fire going. Plenty of cooking equipment which we appreciated. She should be proud of all the work she's done on this place!

Melissa’s home was very comfortable and well stocked with everything we needed from firewood to spices. The property is located a little more than a mile to Taos plaza which was really convenient. Melissa also answered my questions in a timely manner which I appreciated.

This is an amazing property, the owner has remodeled this historic home with love. It was much larger than we thought it would be - the pictures do not do this home justice! Gorgeous landscape - that willow tree is like nothing I have ever seen! We were there to ski but we wanted to stay in our VRBO rental! We will hopefully be back, would be nice to be there in the spring when the outdoor area could be enjoyed more thoroughly!

We had the most wonderful stay at this incredibly well appointed home. The kitchen is stocked with everything a chef could ask for and more. The beds are cozy and there is plenty of room to spread out and read or get some work done at two office desks. The art work and personal touches are charming and made us feel welcomed and comfortable. We will definitely be returning.

We loved the home and enjoyed all of the amenities it had. A fully stocked kitchen which we used and enjoyed the wood burning fireplace. Our dog loved the fenced yard which seemed about 1/4 acre. The hot tub was nice enjoying the sunset. It was only minutes drive to town. We would stay again

This lovely place has far exceeded our expectations in every way!” Most of the homes we have stayed in have been closer to the latter, thank goodness, but Casa Betita surpassed every expectation we had…We can only echo the other 5 star reviews…Melissa is, indeed, a premier host, easily accessible , and gracious. Melissa’s home is very special with beautiful treasures, art and textiles. A very authentic place with privacy, lots of space (huge yard!) and a gorgeous 100-year old Willow tree. We cozied up to a fire out back under the stars, next to the apple tree. The kitchen is well stocked, has all that you need. We enjoyed stay and would definitely recommend!

We had a wonderful stay! The house is beautiful, and so interesting. All the art work and artifacts add color and flavor to the entire experience.
My 6’3” son had to sleep on the window seat in living room. For four adults our options were limited.
But we loved every minute, and would definitely consider visiting again. Kudos Melissa on a relaxing and peaceful property! ♥️

We had such a wonderful time at this beautiful home. I couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay while visiting my favorite town in New Mexico. Truly a gem! The Willow trees are the best part of it all!
