About this condo rental
Situated in Orange Beach, this lovely condo for $564 per night is a great choice for your next trip. Phoenix West 2109 The unit has many upgrades, including the full-sized, wood cabinets. We removed the builders-grade carpet and installed tile throughout. Beautiful rugs accent the rooms. On every window in the condo, we've taken down the plastic, vertical blinds and replaced them with drapes. Just look at the pictures. This is our 2nd home and we furnished it like our primary residence, not just anything to get it furnished. If this is not the nicest condo in the fabulous Phoenix West , we haven't seen one nicer!! There are 5 Sony LCD TV's (4 with DVDs), including a large, wall mounted 52" screen in the family room. This unit is on the East end of the building - this is the best side for spectacular views of the sunrise and sunset! When you enter this 4 bedroom, 4 1/2 bath condo with additional sofa sleeper, you will feel the relaxing but sophisticated atmosphere. This condo is over 2500 square feet of pure beach luxury! The living area is decorated with two sofas and four of seating for everyone. It has floor to ceiling windows and breathtaking views in ALL bedrooms and the entire living/dining areas. A wet-bar with ice-maker complement the living area. The patio features a large conversation set with built-in ice bucket and lounge chairs, overlooking the lazy river and spectacular views of the Gulf of Mexico. The master bedroom has a king bed, floor to ceiling windows that access a private patio, and beautiful views of the Gulf and Bay. The 2nd master also has a king bed. The two other bedrooms are outfitted 1 with queen, 1 with two extra long twin beds. All bedrooms have a flat panel LCD TVs. Each bedroom has its own bathroom! Phoenix West is an amazing new property! From the time you step out of your car in the glass enclosed garage and enter the grand lobby, you will feel you are in a tropical paradise. The entry to the condo is inside! No more getting your belongings soaked if you happen to arrive when its raining! This East corner unit is the best location in the building. You will enjoy amazing views of the Gulf from all rooms! Enjoy a swim in the lazy river, while the kids spend hours enjoying the water-slide. There is also a large zero-entry outdoor pool. The heated indoor pool and hot tubs are perfect for those cooler days. Near the indoor pool you will find a large state of the art exercise room and sauna. This unit is all tile with rugs just where they need to be! No carpet to worry about! The utility room is furnished with a full size washer and dryer. Tile backsplash and a tile-lined bar add even more luxury! Eating in? No problem seating your group with a dining room table that seats 6 and 4 additional bar stools. The large balconies provide incredible views that span for miles along pristine white beaches and the Emerald Green waters of the Gulf of Mexico. In addition, Phoenix West is the first gulf front property to offer a lazy river water feature, complete with water slide for the kids (even the grown-up kids!). Our condo has a state-of-the-art electronic lock. We will give you a unique code that's good for your entire stay. Prior codes simply do not work! No keys to keep up with at the beach! No need to check-in, just go to the condo! No more lost keys or magnetic keys that do not work! Parking: You must purchase your parking passes upon arrival, they are a one time fee of $55 per vehicle. Any 4br unit you rent at Phoenix West guarantees you can purchase up to THREE parking passes, the front desk will sell you additional passes based on the occupancy of the complex during your stay but do not expect to be able to purchase an extra pass during the summer season.

Pros: Fabulous location right on the beach. Stunning view & sunrise can't be beat. The condo has generously sized rooms & living area. Nicely decorated. Each bedroom has own bath which is a plus for all "adult" guests. Large separate ice maker.
Cons: Desperately needs deep cleaning throughout. Kitchen appliances are old & in disrepair (missing shelves in an old fridge that is already undersized for # of guests. Temp/Time display on oven not clearly readable) Kitchen trash can cabinet is super dirty. Inside trash can was a gooey mess. Not sure it's ever been cleaned. Lacks some kitchen basics: no cutting board, or missing measuring cups & only 2 wine glasses for a place that sleeps 8. Bedroom fans loaded with dust. Dust on bedroom baseboards. Drawer of nightstand was filthy with crumbs, lint & hair clip left behind. Towels are very thin, rough & cheap. When they say "starting supply" of kitchen supplies - they mean it. Maybe 2-3 days of dish soap & one dishwashing pod. Bring your own!

Plenty of room for all of us! There were 5 adults and 2 teenagers staying together in this condo. It was exactly as pictured. Beautifully decorated and spacious so we never felt cramped or in each other’s way. The sunrises from the huge balcony were absolutely breathtaking. Cooking in the kitchen was a breeze, even with 3-4 “chefs” in there at the same time. The lazy river with a slide and the pool were fun and relaxing for both the adults and the teens. We will definitely recommend this condo to other friends and family. Can’t wait to book here again! We loved every minute of our stay.

Everything about this place was fabulous. The house was super nice and the property was great too. The kids went down the slide no less than 500 times each over the course of the week and we all enjoyed the lazy river. Everything was easy access and enjoyable.There were 7 of us, 3 adults and 4 kids ages 3-11 and we all had plenty of room. I highly recommend this property, it will not disapoint.

The unit was dirty when we arrived, food crumbs and sand all over the floors. The kitchen counters was also sandy. The master bedroom sheets had hair on them. I addressed the cleanliness issues with the property manager however I never received a response. We paid over hefty fee for cleaning, it really should have been in perfect condition.
For the price tag the unit could use some updating, the walls need repainting, the sheets don’t fit the beds properly and the mattresses were old and uncomfortable.
I hope the property manager and owner reads this review and does something about the housekeeping since this isn’t the first review mentioning the condo being dirty at check in.

Great location! Pool, lazy river was great. Easy beach access! We loved the condominium but our condo itself was dirty upon arrival leftover food on the area rug, dirty plates mixed in with the clean ones, dirty utensils hidden in the back of drawer, lots of sand in the master bathtub, master bath toilet was dirty. You pay a lot for a cleaning fee to have a dirty condo on arrival!

I get that it is busy season, and we were able to get into our unit and 30 minutes early, but I felt they could have done a better job of sweeping and cleaning the bathrooms.
