Nestled in Mission Beach, this lovely house for $700 per night is a fantastic option for your next break. 70 steps to the BEACH! Three block walk to Belmont Park and local dining and attractions. Newly remodeled (May 2023) with a wonderful open design, perfect for enjoying with the whole family! Four bedrooms are as follows: TWO KING bedrooms and TWO bunk rooms. Great for sharing! Located on the beach side of Dover Court in South Mission, just south of Belmont Park and the Giant Dipper Roller Coaster. Part of a two-unit home, this property is the whole upper-level, located above a separate two-bedroom beach cottage. TWO OUTDOOR AREAS: ONE BALCONY DECK OFF THE LIVING ROOM WITH A WHITE WATER VIEW AND ONE ROOFTOP DECK WITH AN OCEAN VIEW! Note that this property does not share the ground-level patio, and instead has a balcony as well as a private rooftop deck. Spend your mornings and evenings on the rooftop complete with BBQ, sitting area, and ocean view! Enjoy grilling and dining while just steps away from the deep blue sea, the boardwalk, sandy beach, and surf. The location is ideal, making this property convenient to beach activities and all the other sights you don’t want to miss while in San Diego! Check the map to see for yourself! Two king bedrooms, two kid bedrooms, as well as two sofa sleepers. Plenty of sleeping space to choose from. * We love our furry family, but please leave your pets at home. We have a strict no pet-policy to keep our homes clean and allergy-free for all guests! * Markets and restaurants are all within a 2 to 3-block walk. * Lots of bike, kayak, surfboard, and sailboat rentals all nearby. * Plenty of boogie boards and sand toys available at the property for guest use. * We have a guest laundry room with multiple washers and dryers that will help you pack lightly. Don’t forget your beach towels! * Garage parking! Private reserved two-car garage that barely fits a large SUV with big garage door open, but we advise to bring/rent an average or smaller car at the beach, if you can! Check out all of the extra photos and compare with others. This is the best value in Mission Beach! We would love to have you visit us, and want you to come back again and again! We had a wonderful time in Mission Beach at Mermaid’s Hideaway. It was lovely- the space was large and open, with great bedrooms and the rooftop deck was awesome. It was steps to the beach and conveniently located close to restaurants and coffee shops. We had great breakfast at the Blue Palm, right around the corner. The kitchen was really well stocked with equipment and the owners were so friendly and helpful! I would highly recommend this property!

This place was perfect for our large group with kids. The kids loved the loft bunk bed room because they all got to stay together in one room. The kitchen and living room area was very spacious. The kitchen had a great amount of plates, utensils, pots, pans, everything you could need to make dinner at home. The location to the beach was great and the kids enjoyed access to the boogie boards and sand toys.

We absolutely loved the house and the layout. It was perfect. The location was amazing! The owners were very responsive with any questions or concerns. Overall, we had a wonderful staycation!

The home was overall ok. The claim that it is fully renovated is a bit of a stretch. The kitchen and living room absolutely are new and beautiful. But the bathrooms are dated and just put stickers on old tile with a landord's special paint job on old cabinets. Bedrooms had very old outdoor carpet. We were very surprised that there was no air conditioning. In fairness maybe that is the norm for this area but the two smaller rooms with the bunk beds were tiny and no real air flow in them made it VERY uncomfortable for the kids to try and sleep in there. Not having a/c was definitely our biggest issue. There was no propane tank on grill and roof top deck fire feature propane tank was completely empty. We finally found back up ones a couple days in because they were not in the place the home guide said they would be. In fairness I could have just text the property contact and asked but didn't. When I did text her about something I did get an immediate response. Ice machine and water on refrigerator do not work and the lighting throughout was not great with a mix of bright cold white lights mixed with warm softer light. The bed mattresses were definitely not the most comfortable/high quality. Again, the home was ok and we did enjoy ourselves but for $5k for 3 nights we just expected a bit more I guess.

Very much enjoyed our recent stay and will definitely return. Location was perfect, and the open living/dining/kitchen made for a very comfortable place to hang out and make memories. Can’t beat the walk to the beach and Belmont park. The owner was so kind and communicative. A wonderful gem!

This home was definitely above and beyond our expectations! We have a big family and the cleanliness, comfort, and convenience of this location was a wonderful experience. We loved being steps away from the beach. Our family of 12 had the honor of being guests to a newly remodeled property with plenty of space and essentials to make our stay at ease. The custom made bunk beds were a plus for the young kids and everyone loved the extra comfy blankets & pillows provided. We were truly grateful for this find as Belmont Park was blocks away and kept our family entertained. The private rooftop patio was a favorite with the nice weather and stunning views. Again, I am so thankful for our stay at this home away from home it truly exceeded our expectations.

The vacation house was exactly as-advertised if not better. Plenty of space for our group of 7 to spread out for sleeping, dining, or hanging out. The balcony and roof deck had amazing views. And the 2 garage parking spots (though tight) worked perfectly for our 2 SUVs.

Communication with the owners before the trip was great. Everything was as advertised. It was close to everything -- the beach, restaurants, bars and stores. We would definitely stay there again.

The house is in a wonderful location! Just a block to the beach and a short stroll down the boardwalk to restaurants and Belmont Park. The to deck of the house is a great spot to hang out. The kids loved the bunk rooms, and it was comfortable for us all!

We loved staying on Mission Beach. Property was comfortable and the kids were in close vicinity to our bedroom. The parking was tight for our Yukon we rented but we knew this ahead of time. The showers were nice and the beds and pillows were comfortable. This is very close to the beach and you can hear the waves and see it from the balcony. There are shops within walking distance. We felt safe with our six kids. Uber and DoorDash came very quickly when we ordered. We especially loved the extra sand toys and beach stuff. We loved our stay.

Location is awesome for those that want to be in walking distance of some food, the beach, and Belmont Park. Was extremely close to all of it. The property was very clean, had very accommodating space for 2 families if needed with all the bunk beds. Amazong rooftop hangout spot (unfortunately we had a rain storm so we couldnt take advantage of that). Only issue is that the parking space was so small it wouldnt fit our minivan so we had to find street parking everytime which in that location is not easy at all. If i had a smaller vehicle, this would be an awesome spot id come back to.

The propert is in a great location. The garage is super tight...lol. The owners were easy to get along with and very accommodating. The only thing that we found off-putting was the carpeting. We tried to be respectful and take our shoes off at the door, however the carpet was very dirty. It had been vacuumed, just needs to be shampooed. Overall this was a great place to stay.

We really enjoyed the location and size of the place. We had a family of 7 and everyone had a bed and room to spread out. It's a 2-3 minute walk to the beach. It was cooler than normal at night so we were so happy that there were a couple space heaters and extra blankets. The kitchen was well stocked. The view from the balcony and roof top was amazing and what a fun little area. It's a short walk to the Belmont amusement park which is fun to visit.
We did the city go pass and totally got our money's worth, we hit 6 things in 2 days. Definitely recommend the USS Midway tour. One thing to note is the garage is tight so we backed up into it to make it easier to get out but make sure you are comfortable with backing up into tight spaces before you attempt it. The carpet has some stains (looks like it's been bleached from cleaning supplies but the place was clean so we were happy. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend for families or bigger groups that want to be close to the beach.

It is so close to the beach!!! You can see and hear the beach from the house. The house had chairs and bogie boards which was a huge plus.

I have rented both units at this location for several years for my kids and grandkids as well as friends. Every year we are treated to more upgrades. We love this space and the location, very close to the sand without everyone looking inside your place. Always super clean and beautiful. Love this place!

Lots of room and close to everything we were looking for.
The only downside to our trip, and this was purely due to how unseasonably warm the weather was during our stay, was the lack of air conditioning (which was clearly spelled out by the owner). This was the warmest trip we’ve ever made to San Diego and I imagine under normal circumstances the lack of AC wouldn’t have been a problem. However, two of the rooms didn’t get much airflow so even leaving all the windows, interior doors, and sliding door open at night didn’t mitigate the heat wave. Overall, the place is great and were the temps about ten degrees cooler it would have been perfect. We would certainly stay here again.

We had a small friend group reunion and we could not have found a more perfect location for all of us to reconnect. Nestled in a quiet, family friendly neighborhood, it was the perfect place to get away for a weekend. The beach was just a short walk away and the morning views were absolutely spectacular from the rooftop patio. Sharon is an incredible host!

check in was easy. the house is actually bigger than the pictures suggest. the grill was gross from previous use but cleaned up. the dishwasher didn't work right but after cleaning the filter it worked fine. a great view from the roof. all in all a great stay

place is nice, a little outdated but it's comfortable. good for large groups. we've stayed at more updated places on mission beach but they weren't as comfortable in the living room areas and kitchen. this place had plenty of dining areas and seating areas to gather or watch television. very close to beach and amusement park near by. definitely would stay again. price was very reasonable.

This condo was cute and the location was perfect. The parking was a little hard do to we drove a SUV instead of a smaller car to get into the tiny garage but we managed. The kitchen was great for entertaining with all the bar stools. Overall I would definitely stay again.

Fun at the beach and legoland!
Perfect place for a family of 7 to visit. We loved the short walk to the beach, the breezy living room, and barbecuing on the rooftop deck. The place had all the kitchen stuff we needed to make a few dinners and the tvs all had a way to stream. Also was nice that they had beach toys and boogie boards. Hope to make it back some day. We ran into the owners when they were working on other units and they we very friendly and answered all our questions. Thanks!
