Situated in Truckee, this charming condo for $375 per night is a great choice for your next trip. You'll love this amazing family friendly location! X-country ski/snowshoe in the winter and mountain bike/hike in the spring and summer right off the back deck. Just minutes walk to Tahoe Donner Downhill and the new Adventure Center w/skiing, biking & equestrian facilities. This beautifully remodeled condo features hardwood floors, granite counters, alder trim & doors. All living space is on the first floor, with each bedroom having a queen size bed and it's own attached bath. There are ample baby and kid related items available (pack n play, rocker sleeper, high chair, booster chair, plus numerous kid friendly toys and books). The kitchen is fully stocked and ready for you, with a dining area adjacent that can easily seat 6 in it's current configuration, with an option of extending the table to comfortably seat up to 8 adults when needed. The living room is well appointed with ample seating for friends and family, with an optional pullout queen size sofa bed. A corner gas burning stove is perfect for those chilly winter nights. An upstairs loft has a queen size American Leather Sleeper pullout sofa. Easy interior access from the ATTACHED garage, which has parking space for one vehicle, plus ample room to store all of your gear securely. A nice sunny deck off the living room is perfect for enjoying the Tahoe seasons, with a gas grill available. Immaculately maintained. This is a non-smoking cabin. We love animals and pets, but unfortunately some family members have allergies, so pets are NOT allowed. You might be fortunate to watch deer walk through the back yard, see a bunny or two, Stellar Jays and other forest birds, chipmunks and squirrels, or witness beavers building their dam just down the nature trail in the meadow pond. Tahoe Donner passes are available to our guests. Each pass allows four people access (with guest fees) to the Trout Creek Recreation Center pools, spa, gym, classes and playground; Northwoods Clubhouse pool and playground; Tahoe Donner's private beach at the east end of Donner Lake where kayaks, paddle boards, canoes can be rented or picnic area, sandy beach play and swimming area can be enjoyed. Top activities include hiking, biking, swimming, golfing, kayaking, skiing, snowshoeing, stargazing, relaxing. Visit Tahoe Donner's website for upcoming seasonal events. The condo is 180 miles (roughly three hours without traffic) by car from the SF Bay Area -- off the Donner Pass Road exit on Interstate 80 (I-80). It is a High Sierra scenic 16 miles from Lake Tahoe via CA-89S and 36 miles from Reno on I-80. If you’re coming from an area outside of Northern California, Tahoe Donner is accessible by any of four major airports, train and bus routes. We also have an EV car charging port. Tahoe Donner is located in the upper region of Truckee, California, within 5 miles of Donner Lake and less than 20 miles from Lake Tahoe. There is easy access to interstate 80, 45 minutes to the Reno International Airport, and 1 ½ hours from Sacramento. Tahoe Donner is an eclectic community with a passion for outdoor recreation and a celebration of the Tahoe lifestyle. This private 7,000 acre association features a plenitude of amenities; two ski areas including the Tahoe Donner Ski Bowl, a great family downhill area, and the world class X-Country Ski Center, a championship 18 hole golf course and clubhouse with pub and fine dining, tennis center, Adventure Center, a private fitness center and spa with lap pool, two recreation pools, Donner Lake beach club marina with boat launch, campground and miles of hiking and biking trails. All surrounded by the gorgeous Sierra Mountains and minutes to 5 major ski areas including Squaw Valley and Northstar.

Nice condo in Tahoe Donner
Great couple of days spent in Tahoe and this condo worked well for what we needed. Spacious (more spacious than the pictures represent) comfy and clean. Kids loved having half the garage as a playroom and we all enjoyed hiking to the cross country ski trails out back. We didn't spend much time inside and when we were inside, it's a little dark.

Great family vacation!
We are so grateful for Jame’s property! It was the perfect home away from home for our family’s first vacation since covid and our first time seeing snow. We are from Hawaii and spent many days in the backyard building snow people and sledding! James garage was well stocked with snow toys for the children. The playroom next to the kitchen was the kids’ favorite spot in the house! My apologies if my children were too loud for the neighbors. We got no complaints…but goodness, they were noisy and thoroughly enjoying themselves!! We also made great use of the gas fireplace, and the heated master bathroom. Sooo grateful as we were not used to the cold. Mahalo mahalo for the hospitality!!

Perfect for family with children
We loved our stay at this condo, and it was perfect for our family (me, my husband, 3 and 1 year old kids). The kids loved the toys and the loft area was a great space for them to play. The rooms were nice, beds were comfortable and the property was very quiet. We also loved the gas fireplace! The house had most everything you would need, including soap but there was no shampoo. The kitchen was very well appointed and everything was very clean. We will definitely stay here again when we return to Tahoe!

This place was absolutely perfect for our family's trip to Tahoe! The home was immaculately clean, the kitchen was well-stocked, the beds extremely comfortable and the toys a happy distraction for our kids. The check-in process was seamless and James was very responsive and easy to communicate with. We are already dreaming of our next trip back!

Fantastic Place
We had a hard time leaving this property, we took our 8yr old daughter skiing at Tahoe Donner for the first time. We were literally 5 mins away from the resort which made getting there a breeze. The property is immaculate and is stocked with games and toys which our daughter loved, the owners really make sure that your stay here is perfect. I highly recommend this property for anyone who wants to experience Tahoe Donner.

Great Family Snow Weekend
The house was exactly as described and the check-in was super easy. The space was perfect for our family with two young kids with lots of toys and kids plates/silverware. It was clean and cozy. The walk to Tahoe Donner was easy and the slopes there were perfect for my 7 year old beginner skier.
It was also nice to have some space right outside to play in the snow. There is a clearing behind the rental where kids had been building snow forts, snowmen and sled runs that my kids liked exploring. It was the perfect long weekend getaway, we’ll definitely consider coming back again.

James is super accommodating host. He was in touch with us even before the trip to make sure that we can get safely to the area as the conditions were pretty bad because of the storm.

This was a gem! My friends and I enjoyed a much-needed girls’ weekend, and this property was comfortable, well-appointed, and near plenty of activities. We had a great time. Also, James the host/owner was VERY helpful and easy to get a hold of when we had a small issue upon arrival. Super responsive and overall great to work with. Would definitely recommend this place!

Great week in Donner!
We had a wonderful week at the property. The toys and kids things were such a great addition. Our kids didn’t even want to leave the condo because they just wanted to play with the toys! Only issue is the early-rising neighbors upstairs, but it helped us get a (very) early start on the day.

Beautiful condo with great amenities for kids!
We wish we had stayed so much longer! This condo is spotlessly clean, and has a great full kitchen. Everything is meticulously organized with bins labeled with each set of extra linens — love this helpful touch! There were toys, books, and games for kids and a whole play area in the garage.
It’s a little drive to Lake Tahoe, about 35 or 45 minutes to the beaches we visited, but a perfectly lovely spot to stay!

This was a fantastic, super comfortable condo, just a short stroll from family friendly Tahoe Donner Downhill, and very close to Tahoe Donner Cross Country. Wonderful property that is very well kept with lots of amenities for the kids. Had everything we needed for young children and had a great open space out back for kids to play and sled. Easy access and check in. Will definitely look to stay here again!

The feeling you get when staying here is the same feeling you get when staying with family or friends who actually care about you. Everything you need is provided, and then some. This is the only place we stay where I feel a bit sad upon leaving!

This was a clean and cozy cabin in Truckee. Very close to Tahoe Donner downhill ski area. Lots of space for snow play in backyard. Indoor parking was a plus.

We really enjoyed our stay here. James was extremely easy to communicate with and accommodating. Response within one hour. The place was very clean, well stocked, and tons of toys for the kids. Great location near Tahoe Donner ski resort.

Nice Truckee condo
The condo was updated and well stocked. The layout really worked for our family of 6. The kids were able to play in the snow right off the back porch, which was great. Owners were super responsive. Even the neighbors were nice! The only thing I didn’t realize (probably my fault) was that it’s a downstairs unit, so there was some noise from upstairs. It was loud at times, but mostly stopped during quiet hours.

This was our third time staying at this property and James and Alli don't disappoint! The rental was clean, comfortable beds (which isn't always the case at rentals), and plenty of amenities, including a ton of toys for our kids to play with. We always get quick replies from James and Alli. Will definitely be back in the future!
