This sunny one-bedroom suite is a lovely Cannon Beach vacation rental, and makes a wonderful alternative to traditional hotel lodging for a family that appreciates a little extra space! Large windows in the front room allow light to pour in and offer a glimpse of Haystack Rock. This suite offers all the comforts of home in a fantastic location just one block from the beach. The suite is on the second floor of a larger building, with just a short flight of stairs leading from the front door to your new home away from home. The living room faces west, with abundant natural light filling the cozy space. Switch on the convenient and cozy gas fireplace, snuggle up on the sofa or in one of the overstuffed recliners, and settle in for a movie night on the flat-screen cable TV with DVD player. Or, bring along a jigsaw puzzle and spread out on the generously sized coffee table. Just around the corner is the open kitchen and dining area, stocked with all the dishes, pots and pans, and countertop gadgets you need for preparing meals. The stainless steel appliances include a dishwasher, but the kitchen overlooks the bench-style dining table and living area so the cleanup crew won't feel left out of the evening's fun. If it's a warm night, you can even cook out on the charcoal grill downstairs. The suite has one bedroom with a lovely king bed and a wall-mounted TV so you can watch your favorite late-night talk show before drifting off to sleep. The living room's sofa unfolds into a comfortable sleeper as well, so up to four guests can share the space with ease. Even the dogs are welcome, but please note a nightly pet fee and weight limit of 60 pounds apply. The full bathroom includes an extra-deep tub with shower, so you can enjoy a nice soak after a long day of hiking in Ecola State Park (or strenuous window-shopping in Cannon Beach). If you need to do some laundry, there's a public laundry room at the Cannon Beach RV Resort two miles away. This suite certainly offers a wonderful location for dining, shopping, and gallery-hopping. Located on bustling Hemlock Street, it will only be a five-minute walk to reach the charming, cedar-shingled shops and restaurants in the heart of town. Next time you want to get away from it all without giving up any of the comforts of home, consider this charming Cannon Beach vacation rental! Things to Know If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the nightly pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting "Yes" to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us. The nightly fee ranges between $150 and $200, depending on the bedroom count, and will apply for each additional dog. Parking notes: There is free parking available for 1 vehicle. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit. More information can be downloaded from the "Rental Agreement" on the checkout page. Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 21 years of age to book. Guests under 21 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation.

Absolutely beautiful as soon as you walk through the door, you have the whole upstairs to yourself, beach feel, quiet, close to downtown, definitely would stay again!

Pros: Very clean and good location. Kitchen had a lot of dishes, etc. Bed was comfortable. Very bright with big windows. Cons: Need extra blankets - it was cold. Kitchen has no condiments, seasonings, etc. just salt and pepper. No Kleenex supplied. Living room tv only worked the first night. No flexibility for early check in. We drove five hours and the unit was empty but we had to wait in parking lot for an hour until the 4 pm check in. It is written in stone - you cannot check in early. First time in all our travels that we could not check in a bit early. Don’t think it is a “do again”. Especially if it was summer because there is no a/c.

This unit was so cute and spacious! Dove shampoo, soap, and conditioner were provided which was a nice touch. We left the windows open and had a pleasant nights sleep. It’s walking distance from everything which made our stay great!

The location was great. The property was super clean. We loved the views from the 2nd floor and the openness of the condo. The wifi needs some attention. Outside of that small thing it was amazing. Will definitely come back and already recommend to friends and family.

Location can't be beat! The condo was clean, fireplace is lovely and I loved the doggie basket. Towels to use on the dog, water/food bowls and even a treat made it feel like a dog-friendly place, not just a dogs allowed place. I'm actually going to get my dog the bed that y'all have, it's so cute and she loved it!

Lovely place, nice open space, dog friendly and close to everything. 1 block to the beach. A little echo-ie with high ceilings but looks and feels clean. Bed is a little hard but we slept well. The tub is big, shower is spacious. Would recommend to others.

This unit is a 2nd floor spot very clean and well kept. Its well within walking distance to the downtown with the shops and restaurants. There is walking beach access directly across the street.

The Pelicans View is clean and comfortable. The perfect amount of space, 1 block from the beach and halfway between the north and south sides of town. Nice accommodations, well furnished. This was our second stay and we will be back.

This place was pretty great!! Very light and bright...quite spacious. Has a pull out sofa bed, well appointed kitchen. Large king size bed. Short walk to the beach just across the street. It was very clean. I will stay there again.

We were there during a rain/wind storm and more than o e window was missing latches (closers) and they need to be repaired. Tub drain needs to be cleaned out as it fills up quickly during showers. We would definitely return to the condo.

Very happy with the cleanliness of the unit and amenities included. I taught my son how to play chess (he’s 8), which was a fun game they had available. We had a one night stay and the only reason we deducted a star was because I sent 4 messages inquiring about the possibility of early check-in without a response.

Home was what we were expecting: nice, spacious and a short walk away from the beach. Kitchen had shelves full of kitchenware, bathroom stocked with towels & necessities and a working electric fireplace in the living room. Staff checked in on us during our stay as well. Only wish that the living room had a smart tv like the bedroom but no big deal when you’re on a family vacation by the beach.

Absolutely loved the location of this rental. Its is only one block from the beach, and in the middle of the town's north and south sections (i.e. restaurants, shops, coffee, bikes, etc.). This specific rental is on the upper level and is perfect for a family of four. It its dog friendly and has all of the necessary amenities (except no washer/dryer).
