About this cabin rental

Nestled in Minnesota, this attractive cabin for $250 per night is a great option for your next break. Our tree house is on fifty acres in central Minnesota, about two hours north west of the twin cities. The tree house is a refreshing break away from the ordinary. The tree house sits 18 feet off the ground on a ridge over looking Rock Lake. Its surrounded by our 50 acres and 500 acres of state land, we enjoy a lot of wildlife, peace and quiet here. Throughout the land there are a lot of trails for walking, snowshoeing, and cross country skiing. In the summer you can enjoy paddle boating and kayaking. The tree house is built of almost all home sawed lumber. It has two bedrooms, a full bathroom, a kitchen, a sitting area in both the loft and the main level. It also has heating and air conditioning making it possible to rent year round. There is a wrap around porch on three sides and a deck out front, with a 6 person hot tub on it. To access the tree house you will walk over a thirty foot covered bridge that touches the ground on one side for easy access.

I surprised my family with a Christmas Eve stay in this magical treehouse. They were so surprised and absolutely loved the quaint whimsical feel. we will no doubt try to book another stay with Donna on their property in the summertime to take advantage of the beautiful lake view as well! You will not be disappointed if you choose their property!

We had a quick overnight stay and the pictures are accurate, but it’s even cuter if that’s possible! The hot tub was ready and felt great and the big windows are gorgeous as well as the inside wood details. Next time we would stay longer and walk the trail or come in the summer and enjoy the dock/water, but overall, no complaints - host was responsive and helpful. You won’t regret booking it!

This was the perfect place to go and unplug for a couple days and to relax and enjoy nature. We canoed, spent time in the hot tub and spent time exploring around the properties. It was great to do our own cooking, play some cribbage and enjoy the quiet!

The pictures on the VRBO website are not nearly as cool as the reality. Peaceful, beuatiful, and creative space. We visit the area annually and normally stay at a distant relatives cabin.' Thier place is being rebuilt so we chose this place instead. In the future we will be returning to "The Treehouse or The Lighthouse!!

My wife and I enjoy staying in treehouses so imagine our surprise to find one close to home. To call this a treehouse is an understatement when you see the beautiful craftsmanship of this place. The owners made the treehouse nicer than a lot of people’s homes but they did it with post beam construction. The furniture was made by the owners and the quality of it is second to none. The location is VERY quiet and peaceful. If you are looking for a house in the tree canopy then this is the perfect place. The deck is about 20’ in the air and you are right amongst the branches and leaves. The leaves are just starting to turn color and we would love to have seen the canopy in full splendor. Of all the cabins, treehouses and resorts we have vacationed in this treehouse has been one of the best. If you are looking for a unique place to stay or want to be a kid in a treehouse then I would consider this place. The upper bunk loft would be a great fun place for kids to sleep while mom and dad sleep on the main level. No outhouse required since they have running water and a full kitchen. We loved it here.

We really enjoyed our time at the treehouse! We enjoyed the lake. We had it to ourselves. The only complaints we had are the spiderwebs on the outside deck railing, and it seemed like there was too much chemical in the hot tub. We would definitely recommend and we have talked about returning someday.

Every detail inside and out in this tree house is amazing! Our family of 4 truly enjoyed out experience and spending some quiet time together in this relaxing location. The kids loved taking the paddle boat and canoe out and swimming off of the rafts in the lake. The hot tub is really nice as well. The loft was perfect for the kids and gave them their own little location to spread out and play/lounge. The kitchen is really well stocked with dishes and pots/pans/utensils. This was our first time using VRBO and we had a great experience. We are excited to come back and try the Lighthouse that is also available on this property. Our boys also enjoyed the books inside that detailed how the treehouse was built, and they were really amazed when they found out that the owners also made most of the furniture.

This is a fun unique property. Located on a beautiful private lake that our teen boys loved! I think it’d be tight for 9 but very comfortable for 6. Hot tub on deck was wonderful in this very quiet setting.
