(Sleeps 6) King, queen, & pyramid beds. 4 HD TV's. 65,50 & 2 32's. Come stay in the heart of the Outer Banks. Enjoy the privacy on a quiet street with a wooded lot on one side. Upper deck overlook the large enclosed back yard which includes a lower deck and outdoor shower. The home is equipped with beach chairs, bicycles, horseshoes, ladder golf, foosball, ping-pong table, and a charcoal grill. Close pedestrian crosswalk to life guarded beach. Close to shopping, great OBX restaurants (many within walking distance) and many local hot spots with live bands. The nearby Nags Head Woods preserve is the largest Maritime forest on the East Coast and has a great visitor center with many trails. You will be just a short drive from the Wright Brothers Memorial, the North Carolina Aquarium, Jockeys Ridge State Park, Manteo and Fishing Piers. Cape Hatteras Point (lighthouse) is less than 90 minutes and the Oregon Inlet Fishing Center are just 20 minutes away. No weekend rentals during the week of May, June, July, August and September.During the off season, rates are available for weekends as well. Three day minimum on weekends in April and October. My husband and I have stayed at Matt’s place a few times and it’s always a very relaxing place to stay. There is a comfy king-sized bed, cable TV, well-supplied kitchen and of course we love the bikes and ping pong. Oh, and it also has beach chairs and umbrella. We recommend staying here!

Another great stay in kill devil hills. This was our second time to the house and certainly does not disappoint. The house has everything that you would need. Very short drive to any of the beach access parking lots. Close to everything but also in a very quiet neighborhood. We will be back again soon!

We had such a lovely time last year, we chose to return and visit #2 did not disappoint. The house is such a sweet easy place to gather in. We had two young adults with us and the lower level gives just enough space for privacy without being “separate” and the main gathering space is perfect for meals at home and hanging out. We lucked out with a couple of beach days, but we love the easy access to hikes in Nags Head Woods, afternoons on Jockeys Ridge and endless options for relaxed-atmosphere restaurants. Matt is super responsive; the house has everything we needed. Looking forward to a return!

My family and I love this place. It was spotless upon arrival. The location of it is awesome. Nice neighborhood close to everything you need. The house is perfectly located as a launching point for all of your OBX adventures. The owner is great to deal with as well.

The house was better than the photos. It was so beautifully decorated and clean. The house was nicely stocked and and organized. Easy drive to the beach and close to everything. Matt was a pleasure to work with during the booking process. House was organized so well with clear instructions that we never had to contact him during the stay. Thank you for having us!

Beautiful cozy house close to everything! Loved the quiet street, and the feel of being a local vs, ocean side where it feels loud and touristy! My kids loved the games, books and toys supplied! The beach parking was a quick drive and lots of parking spaces with a porta potty - so we didn’t mind that the house wasn’t on the water. Very good bang for your buck! 10/10 recommend this little slice of heaven!

We had a great time in the OBX, even in the off season. We enjoyed the historical sites and the ocean/beach. The water was COLD, but there were no lines, no wait, no crowds, no mosquitoes, and plenty of sea food. Our house was well equipped with beach chairs and umbrellas. Even supplied coffee on request. We booked Matt’s house after our vacation last year. We love the ambience and comfort of this house. It is exceptionally clean and comfortable. The kitchen is amazing with all accessories and appliances you would want. A great back yard with shower, grill, and patio with furniture, as well as games, bikes, books for your use. Matt prepares this home for you to “live” there! Thanks Matt!

This house is amazing. It was spotless when we arrived and could not be in a better location. I had minimal communication with the owner but when I did he responded immediately. To be clear, my communication was, .we arrived and how beautiful the house was. We had an amazing time and this is probably the first time my husband and I have said, “we will have to stay here again”. You will not be disappointed!!!

This is a great house for a small group! We were impressed at the cleanliness from the moment we walked in. Everything is well taken care of and modern. We especially enjoyed the layout, the lower level has two bedrooms with a family room and bath. We enjoyed the ping-pong table in the evenings and the kids made use of the bicycles. The neighborhood is quiet, but it is not easy to access the beach from the property. There is a nice beach access directly across the road, but crossing the highway could be challenging. We drove to the beach daily which was not a problem. I would recommend this home to any family and would certainly stay again. Thank you!

We loved this property. The back yard was fenced in which gave us the added security for our younger grandson. The fuse ball and ping pong table....the kids loved that as well as the adults. We loved the open kitchen concept. And Matt, the owner, was wonderful to deal with. We had a great trip.

My wife and I spent our 25th wedding anniversary here. the property is great! It is even nicer in person than in the photos. The place was very quiet. We rarely heard any outside noise. while we were in the house.The house is well stocked and appointed and everything is well maintained with very little signs of any wear and tear. Matthew is great with communication. and seems to put a lot of care and attention into the property and caring for his guests. He even let us know the the previous renter left a day early and we could check-in earlier if we chose.We will definitely look at staying here again when we return to the area.

We had a great stay. The owner is very responsive and helpful. The house had everything we needed and was the perfect size for us (family of 4 plus our au pair). It’s an easy walk to the beach but since it’s on the other side of the Croatan Hwy and we have toddlers we opted to drive which was easy with parking in the off season and the Atlantic Ave beach access is super convenient. Would definitely stay here again.

We loved the location and space! The description said Linens Provided which was not the case. Luckily we were reminded by Mattthew to bring bath towels. Part of the luxury of vacation in rental homes is not having to do bed linen laundry and lug so many extra towels. That didn't happen for us this year. All in all, we loved the house and would stay again, but really wish for the price that laundering of bedclothes would be included. We could not leave as early for our 12 hour drive because of this.

This home is very clean and has everything you could possibly need. Bath towels, laundry detergent and toilet paper is all you really need to bring. The neighborhood is very quiet. The pictures of the house online don't do it justice. It's decorated beautifully and everything looks new. There were plenty of beach chairs and bikes. The beach isn't really in walking distance because you have to cross a 5 lane highway to get there and is a litlle more than 2 blocks by the time you get out of the development. However, free parking right along the beach was always available. Great location. Food markets, gas, convenience stores only a few minutes away. The only down side is that we had some problems on the 1st floor with little crawly critters. After about 4 days we wound up all sleeping upstairs. I would definitely rent this home again if this issue could be reconciled somehow. It might just be the area that is prone to critters.

We had a great stay! The location was convenient and the house was clean and orderly. The beds were comfortable. The owners have well stocked the home and thoughtfully labeled lights and cabinets throughout the house. Make sure you bring your own bath towels. Also, you are asked to wash and fold your bed sheets before leaving. Just keep that in mind if you are eager to get out early in the morning of your departure. You may want to bring your own linens. Overall, we recommend this property for your obx vacation!

Unpack and relax. This home was just as it was described and pictured - clean, spacious, up to date and had everything we needed. A very comfortable home that exceeded our expectations! The neighborhood was quiet and the location is just off the main road so it makes for easy travel to wherever you need to go. The owner was helpful and accommodating both before and during our stay. We have rented many homes in the area in the past few years and this is by far the best. We will definitely be back to this home.

We had a great stay at Matt's property! House was wonderful, with lots of games and things to do. Kitchen very well equipped. Pictures don't do it justice. Not too far from beach at all. Matt was very responsive to all questions. I hope to make it back soon!

We have been to the Outer Banks numerous times but this the first time staying at this property. We found it to be everything the description said it was. Extremely clean, well stocked kitchen, big screen TV (my husband's favorite to watch those football games), beautifully decorated, bikes, and ping pong. The owner responded very quickly when I sent a text in regards to a key issue. He also called prior to use coming to make sure directions were understood etc. I have just one slight suggestion since we are ones who like to depart early on our last day. Bed linens are provided ( a nice gesture by the way), however they need to washed/dried prior to departure....so if you are one that doesn't mind waiting on the laundry this would not be an issue, but if you are like us....bring your own bed linens. Other than that....no complaints at all and I would highly recommend this property to my friends and we would even rent it again Thank you for allowing us to stay at your property.
