About this cabin rental

Located in Keystone, this attractive cabin for $380 per night is a fantastic option for your next trip. We are Backroads Inn and Cabins. Our property lies in Echo Valley. 8 acres surrounded by National Forest. We are the essence of the Black Hills, yet minutes away from everything people come to see, like Mt Rushmore (2.4 miles) and Custer State Park (15 minutes). Search for our reviews if you want to know what others think of us. A brand-new addition to Echo Valley. This 3 bedroom, 2 bath cabin is more accurately described as a custom built house. It is set apart, surrounded by oak trees. The upstairs has a full kitchen, dining room, a large living with a wood burning stove, a bathroom and a bedroom with a queen-size bed. The downstairs has a living room with a pull-out couch and a wood burning stove, a bathroom and two bedrooms with queen-size beds. Throughout the entire house is beautiful pine, large windows and a timeless style. On the back of the house is a large deck that peers into the valley and up the mountain side. This new addition rivals the Barn and Spokane in character and space. Bett

Was a great place and would absolutely stay again. The pictures do not do the Oak Grove cabin justice! When we walked in we had to double check that we were in fact at the right cabin. They were able to provide a pack-n-play for us to use so that we didn’t have to go out and buy one. Area was quiet, easy to access and cozy, with many attractions not too far away. Loved sitting out on the deck in the mornings/evenings.

Very nice roomy cabin. Owner's communication was excellent. We had a very unfortunate occurrence and the owner found out and reached out to see if could be of assistance. Highly recommended staying there.

We had a group of 5 adults for a side by side trip and this house was perfect! Plenty of space if you needed a minute to yourself and plenty of space for us all to be together. We spent most if the time outside on the back deck while we were at the property. Driveway was a little tricky with the truck and trailer, but we managed just fine! Beds were all very comfortable. We will definitely be back!

We really enjoyed our stay. The S'more fixings were a fun surprise! Very clean and comfortable. Loved sitting out on the back deck. My husband saw some deer and turkeys out there one morning. Loved that it is so close to the town but didn't feel like it. Would definitely stay again if in the area. Thank you for letting us stay!!

This cabin provided a unique alternative to staying in a hotel. It is part of a semi-secluded group of cabins somewhat off the beaten path. The scenery near the cabin is okay, but not stellar -- nestled in the woods but a little too close to other rustic buildings. Labelling itself "incredible" was a bit of a stretch. With 3 bedrooms and 2 baths it easily accommodated our group of 4 adults. It would have been a bit too pricey for 2 adults, even off-season, but with 2 couples the price was worth it. The privacy and the setting were nice compared to hotels, and it contributed to our enjoyment of a South Dakota experience. The full kitchen included a microwave (but no toaster), which provided an option to always dining out. The seclusion was accompanied by poor service for cell phones, internet, and TV, which was a blessing for some and a disappointment for others. We stayed in mid-May when the weather was moderate, so I couldn't say if the window AC units would sufficiently cool the cabin in summer.

The cabin was just lovely with everything you might need. Definitely a great rental that we plan to return to again someday.
