Here’s your home in the country – with a wide front porch and a picture window, from which to take in the sunset over beautiful, bucolic Hocking Hills. The log home has a charming full kitchen and one full bath. The log home with saltbox roof is one story, so both bedrooms are on the ground floor: one has a queen bed and the other a full bed. Some of the furnishings lend an old-world charm. The focal fireplace has a broad hearth and mantle, with satellite tv. Wifi is available at this location and pets are welcome. INCLUDED All of the Chalets include: a scenic setting; outdoor hot-tub; fireplace and grill; kitchen with cooktop, microwave, coffee maker, cooking utensils and tableware; satellite tv with dvd player; bed, bath and kitchen linens with bath soap and dish soap; toilet paper; access to the guest pool; central air conditioning and heat. SITE The Settler – Hocking Hills sits alone, along one of Ohio’s Scenic Byways. The closest parks are Ash Cave and Cedar Falls, both less than 5 miles, a 10-minute drives. Old Man’s Cave is 5 miles, a 10-minute drive. The Chalets front desk is 2 miles, away. For your convenience, online check-in is available, so you can go directly to the Settler, without stopping by the front desk.

We loved having a private cabin that wasn’t right next to others, we had space to feel like we were on a secluded little retreat but still super close to everywhere we’d want to go

Nice and rustic, with all the conveniences of home.Living area, bedrooms and bathroom very clean and maintained. Kitchen, very clean and well appointed with everything needed to prepare meals.Outside, well kept and the fire ring area with adorandak style chairs and even an adorandak luvseat. The Chalets even left a small teepee of kinling in the firepit making lighting the fire quick and easy. My only critique would be, the deadbolts/doors seemed to take some effort to get locked to secure the cabin when coming/going and settling in for the night.For the Hot Tub...had received a text stating that it had just been drained and serviced, great comms by The Chalets, that it may not quite be up to temp...surprised, it was at 102 temp upon arrival, very clean and everything 100% operational and great.Would definitely recommend using The Chalets for cabin rentals.
