Situated in Ocean Beach, this lovely condo for $299 per night is a fantastic option for your next break. College students and traveling nurses please contact host for monthly discount due to covid 19. Clean and isolated, 1 block from beach! If this listing doesn't not have the dates you need please check our 3 other units on the same property: 1191673(2101), 1128383(2107), 1164744 (2103) are the other units in the same building. AMENITIES: Totally remodeled including new furnishings, linens, towels and appliances. Full size appliances in Kitchen with spices, olive oil and cooking utensils for family cooking. Bathroom has towels, makeup remover, hair dryer and straightener and basic toiletries for your needs. Hand Held Massager, Toys, Games and Magazines are also provided inside the unit. We also provide yoga mats, boogie boards, beach umbrella, beach mat and beach towels for use. Beach chairs and cooler upon request prior to check-in. WiFi and cable access with Google Mini too! Gas BBQ grill and outdoor furniture are available in our common courtyard space! LOCATION: This apartment is on the second floor with about 15 flight of steps to get to it. One block from Ocean Beach with bicycle rental, shower facility and lifeguard. Scooter rental and parking available right outside the apartment on the street. Walking distance to the famous OB pier (the longest concrete pier on the West Coast) and the main restaurants of Ocean Beach – Newport Avenue. On Newport, there are many restaurants, antique stores, coffee house s, bars, bike and surf shops. On Wednesday evenings (4pm to 8pm)Newport Avenue features a Farmer’s Market where you can find local fruits, vegetables and flowers, street performances and food vendors. Ocean Beach is conveniently located within 15 minutes of major attractions including the World Famous San Diego Zoo, Balboa Park, Museums, Old Town, Sea World, Kayaking, Petco Park, Qualcomm Stadium, La Jolla Cove, hiking, surfing, golfing, boating and miles of sandy beaches. PETS: We supply pet bed, toy, dogie bag and food bowls and charge an extra $50 non-refundable per pet fee per stay. Maximum 2 small pets. Please notify owner of any pets when booking your reservation! PLEASE NOTE: Convenience store to get bottled water and simple breakfast one block from property! Ocean Beach less than 5 mins walk Dog beach less than 10 mins walk Restaurants less than 10 mins walk Wednesday Farmer's Market less than 10 mins walk Famous Sunset Cliffs National Park about 5 mins drive SD airport and SeaWorld about 10 mins drive Only Free Street Parking is available all around property. No designated parking space! Highly recommend to use Uber or shared Lyft instead of renting a car! Please request beach chairs and/or small cooler prior to arrival at time of reservation! We have a lot of returned guests. The property is owned and managed by the owner as well as 2 managers who live 10 mins away to service the guests. Property is meticulously maintained and cleaned every reservation.

Great location close to everything you would want to do in san diego! Property host was very responsive and made sure all needs were met. Was only a coupe minute walk from the beach, couldnt have asked for anything better!

The apartment itself is great! Very clean, spacious and more than enough as far as amenities are concerned. We were very comfortable and impressed! Communication with the owner and prop manager was great as well, both were very responsive, helpful, and polite. The only downfall is the parking is horrible, but that can be typical for a beach town.

This was a clean, cozy little place to stay by the beach. It's proximity to the beach, shops and restaurants was exactly what we were looking for. Also, it was not far to the San Diego Zoo and museums. Check in was easy and the owner was very responsive with questions. We will definitely check this place out again when we are in San Diego.

So close to the beach.
We were so pleased as to how close the property was to the beach. It was just what we were looking for. The walkable restaurant options were a big plus as parking seemed limited in some areas during certain times of the day. It was a bit noisy at times with the amount of traffic but that's an uncontrollable variable. It's a popular beach with lots of visitors, so it made sense there would be lots of traffic. We were fortunate enough to arrive on the day when the Farmer's Market was going on and it was amazing to see all the different vendors and enjoy the yummy food.
We kept the windows open most of the time we were there to enjoy the ocean breeze. The kitchen was well supplied with all the necessities. Comfy beds and plenty of linens and towels. My son loved playing the board games. Easy check in. Meiluen was prompt in responses and very helpful when giving us the details about our stay, as well as suggestions of some great spots to check out. She clearly wants her guests to not only enjoy their stay, but get the best out of their stay. She's a great host.

Weekend Get Away
My wife and I came down to SD for a long weekend to celebrate her birthday and stayed at the condo in OB. We found that the condo exceeded expectations and had an amazing location being only 1 block from OB. The host was very attentive and made us feel comfortable. Would definitely recommend and will be interested in staying here again in the future.

It was loud with traffic on Friday night. The apartment is very hot because the sun beams right on it all afternoon. Beach is very close. Owner is extremely nice and accommodating. The step down into the courtyard is very steep so be careful. Beach chairs and umbrella were fantastic!

Great place to experience OB and San Diego!
The property was a absolutely perfect for our vacation. It was very clean, equipped (from the kitchen to the shoe rack), central to everything in Ocean Beach and a very quick walk to the beach! The owner was so very accommodating. We were given guidance on everything from restaurants to parking. Great VRBO experience. Highly recommend this place!

Great Location
I enjoyed my stay. The apt was clean and well furnished. It really worked well for me to be close to downtown for the conference and close to the restaurants at the beach. There was no need for a rental car as I was close to everything.

Great Spot, Great Trip
3 adults total on this trip and we couldn't have asked for a better stay. The owner was very proactive and extremely accommodating for us. As the other owners stated, the location is just a few blocks from the beach and we were an easy walk to any type of food we wanted. There are some really neat bars just a few blocks down from the house. We used Uber to get around to other places so parking wasn't an issue but it seemed like there was plenty of parking on the street. The beds were very comfortable and the place was spotless when we arrived. I would highly recommend and would stay here again for sure on a return trip.

Enjoyable stay!
Just spent five nights at this lovely place with my family, which includes two tweens. A few of the things to highlight:
- the place was very clean, comfortable and extremely well stocked (not only the coffee/tea and a few basics in the kitchen, but the bathroom had a number of toiletry items you don't even get in a hotel)
- the owner was not only very responsive (when I did have questions, I received an answer via text immediately), but also very proactive (but not intrusive). Always texting me if going to be unavailable and providing an alternative contact. Sending me ideas of attractions and restaurants.
- the location is fantastic: Two blocks from the beach, a short walk from the street with groceries and restaurants, and short drives to everywhere else. And if you like dogs, like I do, this location is particularly amazing. Dogs everywhere!
Three small things for people to consider:
- the area itself is quite noisy. Just lots of people, cars, etc. So if you want complete quiet, you might want something less urban. We didn't mind it, but I can imagine it might be noticeable.
- if you have a car, it is only street parking, which at busy times (weekends) can require circling a bit, or parking several blocks away. We always found a spot, and the weather is so amazing, we didn't mind it, but just be aware.
- the overview said there was a washer/dryer, and one reviewer also mentioned it. However, there isn't a washer/dryer anymore. There is a laundromat a couple blocks away. The owner said they'd check the overview.
Overall - a great place to stay if you are visiting San Diego and like being near a beach.

Gorgeous condo nearby beach with great management!
I couldn't have asked for a better experience with this condo! It is beautiful inside and had everything we could have possibly wanted. Very modern with a full kitchen. Walking distance to the beach and nearby shops. My dog loved it! Despite no assigned parking, we had no trouble findings nearby spots for our two vehicles. The property owner is extremely easy to work with and is very flexible.
Great experience! I hope to stay here again some day.

Perfect place
This property was in perfect condition and the property manager was very responsive. Everything seemed to be brand new/freshly renovated. From the kitchen appliances and utensils to the furniture and flooring and even the boogie boards in the closet, everything appeared new and exceptionally clean. Great location - minutes to the beach. We arrived on Memorial Day which made street parking difficult that day, but had no problems parking close the rest of the stay. Large washer and dryer in courtyard was great. Really the only critique would be that the cleaning crew left towels in one of the washers and one of the dryers for a couple days. My kids have voted this their favorite property in OB and we have been coming now for about 5 years.

A lovely, high end condo with an exceptional location. Everything was included from toiletries to boogie boards. The owner was very responsive. The only downside was that there was no dedicated parking - a real challenge for this location.
