Nestled in Ocean Beach, this lovely cottage for $476 per night is a great choice for your next break. Beach Daze 1 is situated half a block from dog beach and a very short walk to Newport St where you can indulge in all the fun shops, bars and eclectic restaurants. When you pull up out front you will be greeted by a charming front patio with comfy outdoor seating and a beautiful tree creating shade on those warm summer days. This 2 bedroom, 1 bath adorable cottage has been just recently renovated. With fresh paint throughout the house, new flooring and all brand new, comfy furniture. The kitchen has been completely renovated with brand new stainless- steel appliances including the range, oven hood, dishwasher, and microwave. The kitchen has new quartz countertops and mosaic tile backsplash. There is a brand new breakfast bar for your casual dining experience. The living room has brand new furniture including a comfy sofa that converts to a bed when needed. There is a large screen HD TV with cable and wifi in the living room. The guest bedroom on the main floor has a full over full bunk bed with a twin trundle underneath with lots of space for 3 adults to sleep. Upstairs is the master bedroom with lots of windows and a King -sized bed, cable and wifi all included. The bathroom is on the main floor and features a tub/shower combo. Beach Daze also has a laundry room with washer and dryer and a cute back garden area with grass and plants that is fenced off with a short white picket fence from the back property – Beach Daze 2. Beach Daze 1 is a cottage you will look forward to returning to time and time again. A little bit about Ocean Beach: This small beach town is a favorite among locals who spend their days surfing, sunbathing around the pier, hanging out in their vintage VW vans, and strolling through the many surf shops, taco stands and antique malls. Ocean Beach has a throw-back groovy vibe of vintage SoCal, coupled with friendly locals and great dining Nestled between the San Diego River and the hills of Point Loma, Ocean Beach is perfect for surfers to enjoy the waves created by jetties. The beach is also friendly for swimmers, sunbathers, even dogs too! THINGS YOU SHOULD KNOW: This home is Non-Smoking home. We don't allow smoking inside or outside the home. There are 2 units on this property. Beach Daze 1 sits in the front and a smaller unit is behind it. Guests for the back unit will be accessing through a shared pathway adjacent to the front unit's yard area. Due to the moderate coastal climate, this house (like most in the area) does not have air conditioning. This home is not equipped with Forced Air or Heat. You will be provided space heaters in the winter and fans in the summer. This home is located in a residential neighborhood and in a shared property. Please respect your surrounding neighbors. Our rental agreement includes a no tolerance policy regarding excessive noise, occupancy and/or parties. Evictions are strictly enforced if at any time our guests choose to disregard this rule. For homes that allow pets there are certain rules that always apply. Pets are never to be left alone in the homes uncrated. If you plan on spending time away from your pets please find a doggy day care or crate your pet. You can call our office for recommendations or check the Welcome Book. This home has a 2 pet maximum (depending on size) and because there is a small cottage in the back, no pets are to be left unleashed while outside. Ocean Beach lies in the San Diego International Airport flight path for some departing flights. No planes can depart after 11:30 pm or before 6:30 am. Super cute beach bungalow! My husband and I stayed for 3 nights with our dogs and loved this place! We enjoyed the fire pit on the front porch and the close proximity to Ocean & Dog Beach. Very cute neighborhood and nice neighbors. Would definitely stay again!

I believe that the house was definitely as advertised. It was very clean. It was a bit small however that was said in the advertisement. There was two floors which was nice. The only thing I would say is if you are older, the upper level is somewhat difficult with a bit of a spiral staircase. It was absolutely close to everything in Ocean Beach.

Great kitchen, the place was very comfortable especially the front porch. Parking can be challenging: we stayed over the 4th of July and that day was tough, but cleared up right away on the following day.

We had a wonderful time and loved how close we were to the beach. The only bad thing was waking up to the tiny carpenter ants in the kitchen. We had to make sure not to leave a single crumb or spot on the counters, otherwise we’d get the ants.

I loved my stay, I would say a great little place for 2-4 people but with that many people you need to put more than a bathroom mirror in the house especially when there's more that one women. One lady could use the bathroom mirror to get ready and if you put some mirrors around the house others could get ready at the same time.

Cute little place. We didn't get to enjoy it as much as we wanted due to the weather. We couldn't find the thermostat but they had electric radiator type heater that we used. Didn't hear back when texted about t stat. On street parking was challenging but managed to park nearby. Property is located on direct flight path of airport and traffic was noticible but not terrible. Outfitted well enough for cooking and laundry. Great resturaunts in the neighborhood. We will keep this place on our list for San Diego!

Horrible experience
My daughter and I were not comfortable in the property at all. The bathroom sink was not draining properly and I could not utilize the dead bolt for front door. I kept hearing weird noises also. There were little nats flying around in the property and very humid and hot indoors. The front furniture was not clean and fridge was beat up. I called the property manager on Thursday night voicing my concerns and they kinda laughed it off. I informed them I was leaving Thursday at

The location was central to getting to downtown, to Old Town, and to Mission and Pacific beaches to the north- be sure to get a rental car so you can explore all of San Diego. If you’re a surfer or boogie boarder this location is perfect! The Wi-Fi and Roku tv worked well. The BBQ should be replaced and there needs to be a few more cooking utensils, but other than that it was perfect. We would definitely stay here again!

Everyone we met in the neighborhood was friendly. Great pizza place just up the block! A short walk to the beach to play in the waves and watch the sunset.

The beach house is a nice little property overall. It is perfectly located near a fantastic pizza restaurant and Dog beach, along with nearby driving locations to many San Diego attractions. The backyard needed to be maintained a little more (grass area was not mowed) & the bushes need trimming. The home was extremely warm upon arrival so be reminded of the no AC warning.

This property is very close to the beach, less than a block away and about a 10min walk to Newport Ave where there's tons of restaurants. Loved the grassy backyard for our dogs and the enclosed front patio to people watch and enjoy the ocean breeze.
However, patio cushions were dirty. Covered in different stains. Sheets also had weird stains on them. Housekeeping needs to inspect the sheets and comforters more closely. It also gets pretty hot in the house during the summer. It's manageable with the windows open and fans on. They do supply you with 3 fans which was a lifesaver. We used 2 upstairs where it was the most hot and 1 in the living room.
Overall great location with a cozy feel. Perfect place to bring your fur babies!
