You will experience up close Blue Heron and Pelican encounters on a daily basis and enjoy easy access to Mobile Bay and Gulf of Mexico for some of the best fishing experiences along the coast. This Creole Cottage home with spacious 10 ft. ceilings has many amenities such as a private boat dock/canal access to Mississippi Sound, with launches located nearby and a dream kitchen. Parking is available under the house for convenient out-of-the-weather access to the house. There are great views from the front and back porches of the surroundings such as beach activities, birds, dolphins, island dwellers, a bike trail, intercoastal waterway traffic in Mississippi Sound and just plain old Island life. This house has 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, and sleeps 8. Convenient travel to the Casinos in nearby Biloxi and Gulfport, MS. Beautiful Bellingrath Gardens is nearby and it's only 35 minutes to Mobile, AL for shopping, movies, and the Mobile airport is within a one hour drive. Alabama Aquarium at the Dauphin Island Sea Lab & Historic Fort Gaines are points of interest on the island. Mobile Bay Ferry crosses Bay to Fort Morgan which you can drive on with your car, walk on or bicycle (see https://mobilebayferry.com for rates and schedule). Endless Summer has everything you need for a relaxing getaway anytime of the year. We caught redfish in the canal behind the house and we were just a few minutes from the beautiful Guif Beach. Parking is great and the house is set up well. You can sit on a covered deck and watch the waves from the front porch.

Pics do not do this property justice. Walk to the beach was easier than it looks and convenient. I know others have commented, but it bears mentioning that this was the most comfortable furniture of anywhere we have stayed! Seems like the owners furnished for their own comfort and we get the benefit! And while it was not “cheap” the cost of our stay was very reasonable especially for all the little benefits! TV is built in Roku Channel and has some things to watch even if you are not a streamer, but signal buffered A LOT. Not that the owners could do much about that, we would still stay here again!! We didn’t come to the beach for TV, but it could be very frustrating on a rainy day - which thankfully we did not have! Just throwing it out there so others are prepared.

Great as always! It's a couple houses down from the bay for fishing and across the street from the beach. Plenty of room for everyone. The owners are very kind!

beautiful house, view, location!! we were here for some visits with my family in the area but had some time for the beach also. Monday night storm made the house sway and blew the chairs on the porch all over. only problem was the a/c unit would not cool the house at times. had a wonderful visit and have told others of this place.

We had a really great experience at this house on Dauphin Island. You can’t ask for a better location with views of the water on both sides of the house! There was plenty of room for our whole family and it was a very short walk to the beach.

We enjoyed the property but when I attempted to inquire about the shower nobody answered, it was something mundane, we never encountered a shower where you had to pull down on the faucet so as a result we used just one shower for the stay. Since there was only 2 of us it wasn't crucial but it could have been solved by returning my phone call

I highly enjoyed the location of this property. I would definitely rent again. The only negative was the smell of disinfectant/cleaner when we arrived. I had to open all the windows to 'air' it out. I prefer a nice, fresh beach smell versus cleaner. If the owner can use 'free & clear' cleaners that would be great. I am highly allergic to most disinfectants that are not 'natural' per se. However, it was a great time at a great place!

Excellent location, beautiful home The wc wasn’t working well, the second refrigerator wasn’t cooling properly, the dryer was also not working well. Communication was non existent. I texted and called both numbers that were left and received no answer back.

Property exactly as stated! Easy access to beach and short walk to Mississippi Sound for sunsets. We fished off the canal in back, which could use a little shoring up and tender loving care. There is a huge amount of open living space. Closets, some drawers in open area and laundry room could be cleaned out of things old and unused…. That being said we enjoyed the house and would rent again. Kitchen had the most pots, pans, cooking utensils I have ever seen!

Absolutely loved the location of this house. Easy walk across the street to the beach and the views from the front porch are beautiful! Was easy to bring our boat and keep in the canal behind the house. The house has everything you need, plenty of dishes and pots and pans to cook with. Loved having the extra refrigerator too! Will definitely be back!
